Chapter 73 "The little girl you mentioned has a lot on her mind"
Li Yansheng looked at her with interest and asked, "Are you jealous?"
Lin Shutang picked at the remaining fish porridge in the bowl and didn't look at him: "No, I'm just worried that you can't manage your time."

This was not a safe statement, but Li Yansheng did not intend to argue with him. He just asked, "Is it over at the hospital?"
"Wanxin is watching over there. There's something going on at the company, so I have to go there first. Seeing you here, come in and sit down." He took a sip of water and looked at Li Yansheng again: "I was just telling you about your things, but you changed the subject again. You haven't answered my previous question yet. Wasn't she the one in the car last night?"
It wasn't because it was dark that Chen Jinyao didn't recognize Lin Shutang last night. After all, he had taught his child for so long, and even with the blurry night, he could still recognize the figure in the car at a glance.
However, since the other party was still hiding when they met him, it meant that he had no intention of letting them know for the time being, so he just went along with him and pretended not to recognize him.
"When you talked to me before, you acted as if you didn't take me seriously. How come you can't be an exception now?"
Li Yansheng didn't deny it. He glanced at the slender figure of the girl entering the mall across the street, then looked away: "She's just a little girl."
Chen Jinyao still had a smile on his face: "You still say you're small! Look at you now. In the words of these kids nowadays, what are you called?"

This sentence may not seem appropriate when used to describe such a mature man, but in Chen Jinyao's opinion, this seems to be the case.
After teasing for a few times, he put away his joking appearance and said seriously: "Seriously. If you want to support a female student, I have no objection."
After all, considering his age, it's unlikely that a grown man wouldn't have some needs. If Li Yansheng was truly abnormal, the Li family would have been furious and "legitimately" kicked him out to make way for that illegitimate son.
