Jiang Hua arrived just after I finished making that call. "Yiming, here's your food."
She handed breakfast to Gu Yiming.
"Why are you so late? Shouldn't you have bought it downstairs?" Gu Yiming asked casually, without taking the breakfast.
"I..." Jiang Hua was speechless for a moment, she had forgotten about this.
Gu Yiming glanced at her and suddenly chuckled.
"Yiming..." Jiang Hua couldn't stand Gu Yiming's attitude. She reached out to grab him, but he dodged her. A moment of awkwardness ensued.
"I have some things to do at the company. I'll just have breakfast by myself."
After saying that, Gu Yiming walked out of her sight.
Jiang Hua watched Gu Yiming's retreating figure, her face paling with shock. She now realized that she had been exposed.
But she could only watch and couldn't do anything. If she went up to them rashly now, their relationship might become even more strained.
So she just watched and didn't go after them.
Still angry, Gu Yiming turned around and looked behind him, only to find that the little guy hadn't chased after him, which fueled his anger even more.
