Chapter 638 Refusal

However, Su Wenwen had no other intentions; she was just having fun with him.

So when the man said he wanted to keep her as a sugar daddy, she laughed: "I didn't know you were so funny. Keeping me as a sugar daddy? That's hilarious."

The man saw Su Wenwen laughing so exaggeratedly and wondered if he hadn't been speaking clearly enough. If it were any other woman, she would have pounced on him long ago. This woman hadn't even understood him.

Or perhaps they were deliberately pretending not to understand, trying to play hard to get.

"Don't laugh, I'm serious. How about it, be my woman. My abilities can give you the life you want. You won't regret following me."

Su Wenwen stopped laughing and looked into the man's eyes. She could see the seriousness in his eyes, and this realization made Su Wenwen feel very uncomfortable.

Even though she has been living a very indulgent life lately, she has never thought of giving up on herself. Although she can have sex with this man, this is her bottom line. Su Wenwen still knows her basic moral values.

She would never willingly become the mistress of someone she only had a one-sided relationship with.

Even though the man's gaze was intense, Su Wenwen still didn't look at him and casually said, "Do you say this to everyone you're with? Is this your way of flirting?"

The man felt helpless. He had never offered to support anyone before, and this was the first time he had done so with Su Wenwen, yet she still spoke to him like that.

For all these years, women have always been the ones who took the initiative to pursue him, using every means at their disposal—whether it was relentless pursuit or a request for his money. If he were to mention that he was keeping someone as a mistress, those women would undoubtedly agree with great excitement.

This woman is truly special, which piqued his interest: "Do I look like that kind of person? I've only ever said these things to you. So, do you agree?"

Su Wenwen would never agree to that. She went to the bar to let loose and have fun. In this society, wanting to have sex is perfectly normal.

Su Wenwen didn't want any further entanglement with him. One night of indulgence had already satisfied her. From now on, just like the previous times, they would wake up and go their separate ways. Su Wenwen's idea was that they wouldn't recognize each other if they met again.

So Su Wenwen raised her head and looked firmly at the man, saying, "I know very well that I don't want to. I don't know how powerful you are, but let me tell you, what we have is just normal love between a man and a woman, each getting what they need. I have no other intentions. You are just like my previous ones, no different. You should understand what I mean now."

The man was taken aback. How could anyone reject him? He was very confident in himself. He believed that she could meet all the requirements of a woman for a man: handsome and rich. She was a perfect bachelor.

The woman actually refused: "Are you serious? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Su Wenwen responded with an eye roll, finding it hilarious. It was as if that man was so outstanding, that every woman was entitled to like him. All men were the same—lustful and irresponsible, just looking at a woman's beauty and thinking she should be theirs. That idea was truly laughable.

The man saw Su Wenwen roll her eyes at him and couldn't help but laugh. He looked at Su Wenwen with a profound expression and said, "We will definitely meet again, do you believe me?"

"Is that so? Then when you see me, please pretend you don't know me, okay?" Su Wenwen said to the man in a very irritating tone.

"How can you say that? We've had feelings for each other, after all. It's too heartless of you to say that." The man teased.

Su Wenwen felt a chill run down her spine from what he said. She knew this man had definitely experienced something like this before, and he was deliberately making it sound like he was the one who had wronged her. It was truly despicable.

However, Su Wenwen was not going to have any further entanglement with him, so she took out a check, wrote something on it, and threw it to the man.

The man was also taken aback by Su Wenwen's offer of money. He was visibly stunned, holding the check, unsure of what to say. He had never experienced anything like this before.

Before he could react, Su Wenwen preemptively said, "This money is enough, isn't it? It's not like you've been wronged at all. I've already been more than generous, so please stop bothering me."

Although Su Wenwen spoke generously, she was actually quite distressed inside. The money on that check represented her entire earnings from filming one movie—truly her hard-earned money. To give it all away to this man like that was truly heartbreaking.

She looked at the man with an indescribable expression on his face, and she felt a little guilty, but she didn't understand why she felt guilty. She had already done enough.

So Su Wenwen told the man again, "I've given you all the money. This is all I have left. Don't bother me anymore."

Without waiting for the man's reply, she hurriedly ran away, leaving the man watching Su Wenwen's retreating figure with great interest.

Jiang Hua sat alone, drinking. An hour had passed and Su Wenwen still hadn't returned, so she was certain she'd been abandoned. Su Wenwen wasn't coming back; it seemed she'd had a good night's sleep. Perhaps she was feeling down and wanted to vent, but alcohol is never a good thing. The more Jiang Hua drank, the more melancholy she became, her eyes becoming glazed over.

Gazing at the dance floor, where restless men and women swayed wildly to the music, the dazzling lights making her eyes even more blurry, she chuckled foolishly and let out a hiccup. The alcohol was making her head feel heavy. She struggled to get up, but immediately slumped back into her chair. Just then, a strange man walked over. He had been observing her all night and, knowing she was alone and drunk, had hatched some wicked schemes.

The stranger looked quite young, with a flamboyant hairstyle and flashy clothes; he was clearly not a respectable person. He grinned lewdly and leaned closer to Jiang Hua, saying, "Beautiful lady, drinking alone must be lonely. How about I keep you company?"

Although she was completely drunk and slurring her words, Jiang Hua was still able to recognize that this was someone she didn't know. Not in the mood to talk to him, she said, "Don't keep swaying in front of me, it's making my eyes blurry. Go away." Actually, she was so drunk that she couldn't see people clearly and thought there were three of them instead of one.

Seeing her so drunk, the stranger's desire only intensified. Her glazed eyes fixed on him, making him even more reluctant to leave. He leered, "You've had too much to drink. How about I take you home?" and reached out to pull her away.

To everyone's surprise, the drunk Jiang Hua reacted strongly, seemingly having lost all her patience. She slapped away his outstretched hand and said irritably, "Get away from me, don't touch me. I'll go back by myself. I don't know you." Then she got up, shaking her head and trying to walk away.
