Chapter 23 You Killed Someone
Seeing that she was about to be kissed on the face by the zombie, An Ran, in a panic, stabbed the zombie's head with a random knife, and then pried a small, tiny, shiny thing out of the zombie's brain with the blade. It bounced on the floor of the ward with a crisp "ding-dong" sound.
What is it? An Ran was in no mood to care about it now. She stabbed the zombie in the head, and the grip on her suddenly loosened. An Ran managed to steady herself, standing on the rain shelter, looking at the zombie hanging on the windowsill. It was so soft that it had become a real corpse.
"You killed someone, you killed someone, you murderer!"
Chen Jiao, who was squatting in another corner of the shelter, held her head and looked at An Ran with fear and anxiety on her face. An Ran's heart was also beating wildly, as if it could jump out of her heart. She was breathing rapidly, her eyes fixed on the zombies she had killed. There was some strange feeling in her heart, as if it was breaking out of her heart.
She had a feeling that, oh, it turns out that she can do this!
And now, Chen Jiao was still crying. Her crying made the zombies in the window stay around the window for a long time, and there were more and more of them.
An Ran kicked Chen Jiao irritably and threatened her again with the knife that had killed a zombie, "Hurry up, go down and stop talking nonsense."
"I can't go down. I can't go down."
Chen Jiao, who was squatting on the shelter, pointed downstairs on the third floor. Although it was dark at night, the lights in the doctor's office on the first floor were still on. Through the lights, Anran could vaguely see that many zombies had surrounded the downstairs where the two of them were.
There are still quite a few zombies nearby, wandering over in twos and threes. The ones that are farther away are not clear. Is the situation still the same in the ones that are farther away?
Do zombies still exist?
An Ran felt helpless again. She sat dejectedly on the rain shelter outside the wall on the third floor. Above her head were the hanging hands of dead zombies. She looked into the distance, which was pitch black. She began to doubt the rescue. It seemed that there was no one alive in the world except Chen Jiao, who hated her to the core.
"Is there anyone? Is there anyone alive? Help!!!"
An Ran suddenly screamed towards the night sky, and the sound spread far, far away into the darkness, so far that it echoed. And the only responses to her were monsters from far and near, which were gathering towards this place at an accelerated speed. There was no other person.
Chen Jiao, who was beside her, had tears all over her face. She felt scared and hateful when she saw An Ran like this, as if the one who caused their miserable situation at this moment was none other than An Ran.
But An Ran was the one holding the weapon. Chen Jiao had been threatened by An Ran before, so she didn't dare to express her anger openly again.
A hot tear fell on the back of An Ran's hand, burning it so much that it hurt. She squeaked and looked down at her slightly cracked hand, as if at that moment, she saw the back of her hand quickly absorb her tears. She didn't care too much, but got up, leaned on the window sill on the third floor, and secretly looked at the scene in the ward through the body of the dead zombie.
Chen Jiao was still crying at her feet. An Ran kicked her, lowered her head, and whispered, "Stop crying. If you keep crying, the zombies will not leave! You see, if you stop crying, they will definitely disperse!"
