Chapter 186 Joint Class (Part 2)
"Jade, choose me! Choose me!"
Within five minutes after Professor Flitwick announced the start of free team formation, Jian Yu was buried in the middle of the crowd.
When Professor Flitwick counted down to 321, Ron had already made preparations. He half-crouched and took off, successfully rushing to Jian Yu's desk.
"He can't - I got all the grades I could get in Charms in the past three years. With me -!"
A surge of power made Hermione like a god of war. She cut a bloody path with the huge textbook and knocked Ron away with one blow of the book.
As soon as Hermione appeared, no one dared to compete with her. The little lions could only cover their faces that were hit by textbooks and retreat angrily.
The two girls felt that they had met too late. They held each other's hands and looked at each other with tears in their eyes, almost speechless.
But the enthusiasm of the little badgers and the little eagles is still unstoppable.
Fortunately, Hermione solved a series of problems. She screened resumes like a senior HR and recommended them to the boss Jian Yu:
"Anthony Goldstein from Ravenclaw! His Charms grade is also O!"
"And Susan Bones, Hannah or Ernie from Hufflepuff...they got O or E..."
Jian Yu decided on Anthony Goldstein and Susan Bones.
The two looked like they wanted to fly up to the podium and oust Professor Flitwick so that they could give the induction speech.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly, and everyone went to their assigned groups, until it came time to practice the spells.
"No - stop it - Mr. Crabbe - you can't send Mr. Thomas up to heaven - ten points from Slytherin!"
"Mr. Macmillan - you can't use the Leg-Locking Curse on Mr. Malfoy - ten points from Hufflepuff!"
"As much as I hate to do this! But - deduct points! Deduct points! Gryffindor! And Ravenclaw... 10 points! 10 points!"
"Stop! Stop! Finite lncantatem!"
The whole place was in an uproar, with quarrels and chanting all around.
Tired of dealing with all this farce, Professor Flitwick's short body became hunched over, as if he had aged ten years.
Only the Pure Land where Jian Yu was...the group helped him regain some confidence.
What a harmonious group of four people!
They are way ahead in learning spells! I even started doing my homework!
Professor Flitwick looked touched and gave each of them 10 points.
The same thing happened in Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout's classes. The head teachers looked haggard and emaciated.
They gathered in the principal's office again and told each other about their troubles.
"The pus from the Babo tuber..." Professor Sprout sighed, "They just splashed it around like that, poor kids -"
"Poppy is furious." The wrinkles on Professor McGonagall's forehead deepened. "There have never been so many students lying in the hospital wing... injuries from spells... immature human deformation..."
Without comparison, there is no sense of superiority. After hearing this, Snape, who was unharmed in the classroom, became unhappy:
"Miss Jane made a suggestion. She thought we could give points to the group's daily performance to prevent cauldrons from exploding and potions from spilling randomly."
As soon as these words were spoken, they immediately attracted widespread attention from the three deans.
"This is feasible!" Professor Sprout's eyes lit up, "I will include daily performance in the final score!"
"Perhaps it would be reasonable to set up awards based on the group's performance rankings." Professor McGonagall pondered, "How can we make them feel a sense of team honor..."
Professor Flitwick decided to take a different approach and try some bizarre practices in the group's daily routine:
"I ordered a batch of customized game consoles from Miss Jane at a high price. They support voice control and online communication, and users can compete with each other in spells."
"They can calm the restless souls of these adolescent children - train their reaction to the use of spells and make them more cohesive!"
Their approach was successful. After the group's collective scores were included in the final grade, all the undercurrents were suppressed within the group and after class.
Professor Flitwick's class became the most popular course in the school, and he himself was rated as the most popular teacher.
This made him unable to help but praise Jian Yu again.
......
Although the bad behavior in the classroom ended, new problems arose.
A ghost, the ghost of group work, was haunting Hogwarts.
"Kill me." Daphne slumped on the sofa in the common room and lamented, "When will group work get out of Hogwarts? Jade, can you ask Snape to let me change three group members?"
She was not the first person to ask this question, so Jian Yu had to express again that he was helpless to help.
Blaise, who was in the same group with Ron, was completely stunned. He was deeply affected by the group work and successfully removed some of the academic filters:
"I don't understand whether I am doing group work or poverty alleviation. I feel like I am being sucked blood by three leeches."
"It's okay for Weasley, I didn't have any hope for him - but why would Ravenclaw also slack off?"
He was immediately attacked by Draco, and perhaps the worst was yet to come:
"Come on, don't feel bad! At least the Ravenclaw in your group will go back and get other people's homework for reference-"
"What about our group? The busy ones are busy as hell, and the idle ones do nothing - damn Potter doesn't care at all - he can only cut the beans vertically with a knife like an idiot, why doesn't he grind them?"
In response to this, Theodore, who was preparing a speech, flipping through books, and even had written three feet of his Potions essay, commented concisely:
“An amazing way of doing things where 1+1+1+1<1.”
His thinking was several versions ahead of his classmates, and he soon realized that the homework for multiple people was just a heavy burden on his head.
Fortunately, he took it all in stride and decided to submit his assignments with only his name and that of another Ravenclaw.
After complaining——
All the little snakes turned their eyes to Jian Yu:
"So Jade, is this happening in your group?"
Jian Yu pondered for two seconds.
She thought of the highly efficient team members—
I think it's also polite to chew quietly when others are hungry.
"I think so—"
The little snakes calmed down.
Even Jian Yu is facing this situation, this is definitely not their problem!
The same scene happened in the Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff common rooms.
"Greengrass is too impatient. She insisted on starting the assignment this week even though there is still so much time left before submission—"
"She even said that we were playing dead and not replying to her because we were trying to slack off - so funny, it's obviously her problem!"
An unnamed Gryffindor complained.
"I've seen the diversity of species, Zabini with the tiny brain of a leech - and Weasley, he has no brain at all!"
"Even though I can't, I know Zabini's direction is wrong - I used other people's articles as reference, but he still didn't accept it!"
roared an unnamed Ravenclaw.
"Nott is not willing to communicate with us. I don't quite understand what he said. He seems to want to complete it alone—"
A Hufflepuff who wished to remain anonymous sighed.
"Malfoy is a piece of shit, I don't want to say anything more."
A Mr. Harry Potter who wished to be named commented.
The good news is that despite all the complaints, the Hogwarts students did learn something from their first group assignment.
For example, 50% is how much you hate paddling, 40% is the ability to complete the entire task alone, 8% is useful knowledge and 2% is how to work with others.
Everyone felt that this was a really enjoyable group assignment.
"Why can't you give me three team members like Yu Jian?"
This is probably the question that every fourth-year student at Hogwarts has in mind.
But in fact, although Jian Yu also faced some problems - but what she faced was different from them.
She is being forced to involve herself, and her group has reached new heights.
Hermione, Anthony and Susan took action on the first day after class.
They dragged her into the library, each of them sorted out a copy of the information, and argued over the final version to be adopted.
"Although Flatworthy thinks so - but the Spell of the Summoning Spell should only be able to move inanimate objects -"
"But how do you explain why it can bring caterpillars and salmon? Maybe it can't work on the human body just because of insufficient magic power--"
Jian Yu felt tired.
Four people have already finished writing an entire paper in the first week of school, and this is even the second time they have checked it!
"Why don't we submit one more as an appendix!" Hermione angrily said, "Jade, what do you think?"
Jian Yu didn't want to watch, she just wanted to faint.
What about her peaceful life?
Why should I be carried with me?
The King of Rolls is out of Hogwarts!
One can't, or at least shouldn't, spend the rest of the semester in the library, right?
"Close your eyes, Hermione," she said weakly. "What do you see?"
"I saw darkness," Hermione answered seriously, "Jade, what's wrong?"
Yes, it's dark, that's my life.
Jian Yu was speechless and choked.
But Hermione jumped up excitedly and shouted:
"I see - darkness! A whole new argument! Jade, you're a genius!"
"Using the Flying Spell in the dark may have different effects than using it in a visible state!"
"We could write another one and put it in the paper as an appendix—"
Jian Yu was so shocked that he dropped his quill.
No, what did this girl understand?
Has the King of Rolls gone insane because of himself?
Should she keep silent to prevent her every word from being over-interpreted?
She really doesn't want to write a paper anymore!
