Chapter 18
Even when they reached the auditorium, Ayala was still thinking about the tarot cards she had just read. She had had other dreams, but none of them was as real as the one with the boy. Whenever the boy was in the dream, she would have the same perception as usual. It was so strange.
The person sitting across from Ayala now was Regulus Black, who was in his second year. Tian remembered that he had just seen a girl standing with him at the station and couldn't help but gossip.
"Blake, who was that blonde girl you were with at the station?"
"Did you say Mia?"
"Who is Mia?"
"The Longbottoms."
"What is her relationship with Miss Longbottom, Professor of Astronomy?"
"Miss Longbottom is Mia's sister."
Ayala nodded, touched his earlobe with his hand, and then looked at the branch.
There was no one else living in Narcissa's dormitory, so she happened to be living alone. Ayala returned to the dormitory and began to prepare for the ancient magic runes, but this subject was surprisingly boring and she fell asleep directly.
Fortunately, she woke up not too late the next day, and when she arrived at the auditorium, Professor Slughorn was just handing out the class timetable.
"Miss Turner, could you do me a favor tonight?"
"...What's the matter?"
Ayala was a little confused.
"Help me prepare some potion ingredients or something, and I'll give you extra points."
"……All right."
"Seven o'clock in the evening, Potions classroom."
...Why do I feel like I've screwed myself?
Since there are elective courses this semester, there are not so many required courses. The first class today is divination, followed by spells, and in the afternoon we will learn herbs. Ancient magic runes are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, and arithmetic divination is on Thursday afternoon.
After eating a little, Ayala returned to the dormitory to bring his textbooks. The divination class would be held in the tower...
"Ayala."
Lily's voice? It was indeed her. She had just walked into the auditorium when she ran into her.
"Would you like to go to divination class together?"
"OK."
Lily is indeed much more reliable, at least she knows how to get around the tower.
"Did you apply for a Time-Turner?"
"here."
Ayala turned her head and saw a pendant hanging around Lily's neck. She pointed to the round area next to the ball and said.
"Twist this and it will go back to the past. One turn is one hour, two turns is two hours, and so on."
"But it seems like there are no conflicting classes today? They won't start until tomorrow."
"That's right, so you don't need to use it this year."
We arrived, and there were stairs again... The divination classroom was really high, and it took me a long time to climb up. It didn't look like a classroom. The tables and chairs in other classrooms were neatly arranged, but the tables and chairs here were more like tables and chairs for afternoon tea, covered with colorful tablecloths. The room was filled with the smell of incense. The tables and chairs were for two people to a table, and there was a similar table and chair in the middle of the classroom, with a woman sitting on the chair.
Her long black hair was casually draped and she was wearing a white dress, but Ayala paid more attention to her hands. The professor wore many rings and bracelets on her hands, and her nails were dyed gold. She looked to be in her late twenties.
"This professor is dressed so exquisitely."
Ayala muttered and Lily nodded. The professor didn't speak until the classroom was already full.
"Now go to the cupboard and each of you take a teacup of your choice. Once you have it, sit down in a seat in pairs."
...Teacup? Lily quickly got it. Ayala looked at the various cups in front of her, none of which she liked.
Her eyes fell on a pure white teacup without a single print on it.
"You chose this?"
Ayala's hand almost dropped, and she turned around to find that the professor had come behind her without her knowing.
"Is there something wrong with this cup?"
"I've been teaching divination here for eight years, and no one has ever chosen this cup. I thought no one would ever use it."
…As she spoke, she walked somewhere else, and Ayala sat down opposite Lily with a cup of tea.
"Thank goodness you chose Divination, otherwise I probably wouldn't have a partner."
"Do you like this solid-colored cup?"
"Not really, I just think we're a good match."
She had just finished when the professor began to speak.
"Welcome to my class. I'm Professor of Divination, Alice Taylor. You can just call me Mrs. Taylor."
"I thought she was unmarried."
Ayala whispered to Lily.
"Today I'm going to teach you how to read tea leaves. Each of you has boiling water and tea leaves on your desk. First, put the tea leaves in a cup, then pour in the water. Then, drink the water. The tea leaves in your cup will begin to take on new shapes. Give the cup to your partner, turn it over, and see the future through the fog..."
Lily's is a sun, which means good things will happen to her soon, but Ayala's is completely unrecognizable.
Just as the two of them were concentrating on trying to see something in the teacup, Mrs. Taylor came over.
"Yun...you are trapped by something, but you think it is a dream. Someone has recently appeared and will have a huge impact on your life. I think you need to pay attention to your dreams."
Mrs. Taylor slapped her face with her hands and went to join the others.
"Would you like to go to the library together this afternoon?"
Normally Ayala would agree, as it was a nice thing to read and do homework with Lily in the library, but today was different.
"I promised Professor Slughorn this morning that I would help him organize the potions materials. I can do it tomorrow."
Ayala regretted it. To put it nicely, she was there to sort out the materials for the potion, but to put it bluntly, she was there to do hard labor. There were a lot of figs waiting for her to peel, so she had no choice but to roll up her sleeves and work hard.
"Miss Turner."
It was Professor Slughorn's voice.
"What's up, Professor?"
"I have a club called the Slug Club. A lot of my students are in it. I have a club meeting this Friday. Do you want to come?"
"Party? What for?"
"Get together and chat, you'll like it."
...Slug, why is it called this name?
"Your good friend Miss Black was once a member of this club."
He was talking about Narcissa.
“I’m honored to teach.”
"I'm very glad you can come, and Miss Evans has accepted my invitation."
Ayala ignored him and focused on fighting with Fig.
"Good evening, Horace."
...This voice was Professor Dumbledore. Apparently, he didn't expect there was anyone else here.
"Oh, Miss Turner is here too."
"I asked Miss Turner to help me with the materials."
Ayala then immersed herself in peeling the fig. This was the last fig. Finally, when she threw it into the bucket, she felt an indescribable joy in her heart.
"Professor, I'm done."
"Thank you, Miss Turner. I'll give you ten points. You can go back to bed."
"Bye Professor, good night, Mr. Dumbledore."
Dumbledore smiled at her.
"Goodnight Miss Turner, would you like some candy?"
"That's great."
The next second, a few honey candies fell into her palm.
