Chapter 1290 First Arrival

Lin Ke glanced around and immediately saw many "familiar" faces, as well as some new representatives he was meeting for the first time.

Of course, the so-called "familiar" faces were those civilized leaders that Lin Ke had personally visited.

However, most of those people simply shifted their gaze elsewhere after seeing Lin Ke.

There wasn't even a polite gesture or a nod to Lin Ke.

Lin Ke naturally didn't care about any of this, but Nan Tong, who was behind him, had already keenly noticed it.

So Nan Tong immediately spoke up, hoping to divert the attention of his Holy Pharaoh.

"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh!"

"As you can see, we've been assigned to the seventh row in Central, which is relatively close to the center."

Nan Tong looked at the seating arrangement, whispered her thoughts, and then carefully observed Lin Ke's expression.

Lin Ke simply nodded in response to Nan Tong's words.

Lin Ke nodded only slightly, and her face remained expressionless.

So, Nan Tong simply swallowed and observed the surrounding environment and people.

People are starting to enter intermittently, but no one has taken a seat yet. They are just gathered in twos and threes at the edge, chatting and laughing casually.

Apart from a few Greek guards on duty, only Nan Tong was around Linke.

“Your Majesty, it seems there is still plenty of time.”

"How about we take a look around first?"

"By the way, it seems that the Inca king has not yet arrived."

Upon hearing Nan Tong's words, Lin Ke's eyes widened slightly.

He scanned the area again, and sure enough, the King of Inga was nowhere to be seen.

At the same time, Lin Ke noticed that several representatives not far away were whispering to each other and occasionally casting strange glances in their direction.

Clearly, Lin Ke's first appearance has attracted attention from all sides.

However, they seemed to be wary of something, and in short, no one stepped forward or greeted Lin Ke from a distance.

Lin Ke was well aware that if she went to greet him now, she would probably only receive some perfunctory and indifferent replies.

But none of that mattered to Lin Ke. He was only concerned with how to find the right opportunity to speak or propose a motion after the World Conference began.

If one wishes to spread the fame of Holy Egypt here, this is the only way.

Just as Lin Ke was pondering this, he heard people whispering not far behind him.

And what they were talking about was themselves.

Look over there!

"That guy with black eyeshadow, isn't that the Holy Pharaoh who just joined the World Conference?"

"I really don't know where this small country comes from, how can they even participate in a world conference?"

"His clothes had no gold decorations or jewels; he looked quite ordinary."

Standing behind Lin Ke, Nan Tong immediately gritted his teeth. Of course, he had promised the Holy Pharaoh that he would not make any rash moves here.

So he could only stand quietly to the side and listen along with Lin Ke.

"Who knows what methods they used to get their admission?"

"Yes, that's strange."

"However, this time the host is Greece, and some say that the Greek leaders want to consolidate their power in the Mediterranean, that is, to expand their influence."

"Perhaps it's so that Holy Egypt can also become one of their allies."

Then, another voice came through: "Who knows?"

"Perhaps it was like that dark-skinned guy from Mali, who used a lot of 'golden abilities' to join."

"But why does that Holy Pharaoh not seem... very wealthy?"

"Yes, yes, although it is a desert civilization like Mali, how many kings can possess vast wealth in the desert?"

Similar whispers spread throughout the venue.

Many delegates were curious about this unfamiliar face, yet also showed obvious contempt and skepticism.

They continued to observe from afar, unwilling to approach, as if Lin Ke carried some kind of infectious disease.

Standing beside Lin Ke, Nan Tong heard all these malicious comments clearly.

His brow furrowed tightly, and he took several deep breaths.

Of course, Lin Ke saw all of Nan Tong's actions.

"Don't worry about it, let them talk."

"However, the civilization leader in the center of the venue has not yet arrived."

"Those who arrived here first were mostly leaders of the civilizations we had visited before."

Nan Tong listened to Lin Ke's words, simply exhaled from her lungs, and nodded gently.

"Yes, Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh."

"So, do you want to stay here? Or..."

Just then, a commotion broke out at the entrance.

The crowd parted to make way for a tall figure.

He wore a purple robe embroidered with gold thread, a crown studded with jewels, and a magnificent scimitar hanging at his waist.

Lin Ke only needed to glance back once to know who the newcomer was.

That was the famous ruler of the Persian Empire, Nader Shah.

The surrounding conversations suddenly subsided, and almost everyone's eyes followed the monarch of this great nation.

Nadir Shah strode through the venue with his head held high, his gaze indifferent and his face stern.

It was as if they didn't care about anyone else at all.

He didn't smile at anyone, let alone stop exchanging pleasantries.

"Look at that self-righteous look on his face. Persians are always so arrogant."

But another person who heard this retorted: "The Persian Empire spanned three continents, and Nader Shah was known as the 'King of Kings,' and his army was invincible."

"If it weren't for the World Conference, I'm afraid neither of us would have had the chance to see his face."

"But this King of Kings is always very indifferent to others."

"I really don't know what he's thinking. Doesn't he think it's better to have more friends than more enemies?"

Just as everyone was commenting on Nadir Shah's arrogant attitude, a jaw-dropping scene unfolded.

The legendary, ruthless Persian monarch actually stopped in his tracks as he passed by Lin Ke.

"The Holy Pharaoh?"

As he said this, the coldness in Nadir Shah's eyes faded slightly.

Then, Nadir Shah extended his hand to Link.

"Welcome to the World Conference."

Nadir Shah spoke, his gaze filled with complex emotions.

There was both hostility and a peculiar respect.

"I am also very happy to see you again, King of Kings."

Lin Ke shook hands with him calmly, her tone as usual.

However, this scene caused those who had been discussing Lin Ke in the distance to widen their eyes immediately.

"What?!"
