Chapter 138: Holy Egypt is really scary...

The door was pushed open, and Kamul walked in with two soldiers. His eyes were cold, and he said nothing extra: "Follow me."

The two men looked at each other, feeling uneasy, but they did not dare to disobey. They could only stand up tremblingly and follow Kamul out of the cell.

One of them squeezed out a trembling voice and said, "Hello, sir...Um, where are we going?"

Kamul didn't look back, but said coldly: "You'll know when you get there."

The terrifying images of the witch and the lion-snake dog kept appearing in their minds. They didn't dare to ask any more questions and could only follow behind silently.

Kamul brought them to a small room, opened the door and motioned them to go in.

The room was simply furnished with only a table and a few chairs, and some clothes piled in the corner.

Kamul still said nothing: "Change your clothes."

"These are for you."

The two men looked at the clothes on the table and felt more and more uneasy.

One of them asked tremblingly: "Change clothes? Why... why do we need to change clothes?"

Kamul just looked at them coldly: "Do as you are told, don't ask."

The two men did not dare to disobey and could only pick up their clothes, but their hearts were filled with fear.

They began to talk in low voices: "Changing clothes, does that mean we are going to be executed?"

"I don't know, but I heard that in some places they make prisoners change into clean clothes before executing them!"

"Oh my God! Are we really going to die?"

Kamul walked out the door and whispered a few words to the soldiers around him.

Then he turned to the two foreigners and said, "Stay here. If you dare to step out of the door, you will bear the consequences at your own risk."

After saying that, he led the soldier out of the room, closed the door, and left the two men looking at each other.

The first person said with regret: "I should not have come to Holy Egypt."

"I just wanted to make some money, but now I'm losing my life!"

The second person sighed: "It's no use talking about this now."

"We can only pray and hope that the Holy Pharaoh really is just letting us stay here temporarily."

The two were silent for a moment. The horrific images of the witch and the lion-snake dog kept appearing in their minds, and they were still sweating profusely.

The first person suddenly asked tremblingly: "Do you think we will really be fed to that monster?"

The second person interrupted him, his face even paler: "Stop talking!"

"I don't want to hear this anymore!"

Just as they were daydreaming, there was a sudden knock on the door.

"Boom boom boom."

The two men were so frightened that they trembled all over and almost dropped the clothes in their hands to the ground.
