Chapter 49: Mad Samar

In just half a day, Samar lost many garrisons and several villages outside the city.

Even though Samael's roar shook people's hearts, every attack by the enemy accurately hit their weakest link, which made the Hebrews' response seem futile.

Time passed from day to night and from night back to day, and the chaos in the command post never stopped.

The candlelight remained on all night, and the tent was filled with an anxious atmosphere.

Samar's expression became even more gloomy, and the originally fierce light in his eyes now carried a bit of madness.

Suddenly, he turned around, drew his scimitar, and pointed at an adjutant: "You! Tell me why these Egyptians can appear and disappear in our base so easily! What are the patrols doing?!"

The adjutant was so frightened that his legs went limp. He fell to his knees and stammered, "General, we have tried our best to block all the passages, but they, they--"

"Them what?" Samar's voice was like a roaring beast, "Are you going to tell me they crawled out of the ground?!"

The adjutant dared not say another word and could only tremble in fear.

Samar seemed to have completely lost his patience. He covered his forehead with his hands and looked shaky, as if he was about to run out of energy.

His tone suddenly became manic and weird: "No, no, something's wrong! These people are not human at all, they are ghosts, demons! They are... they are damn Egyptian monsters! Hahaha, monsters!"

Everyone looked at each other, not knowing how to respond.

Samar suddenly stood in front of the map and scratched on it frantically with the tip of the knife.

"Here, here, and here! Kill them all! Bomb them all! Kill them all!"

"Don't they like sneak attacks? Let them come, let them come! Hahaha, I'm waiting for them!"

The generals in the command post were frightened into silence by this sudden madness.

Samar, who was once cold-blooded and decisive, now has a red face, waving his weapon around, muttering to himself, and shouting "monster", "Master Heka", and "kill them all".

His subordinates could only stand there and watch their commander with a distorted expression and crazy laughter.

At this time, a soldier trotted into the tent.

"grown ups!"

His voice was so loud and powerful that the tent was briefly quiet for a few seconds.
