Chapter 50 The end of the Egyptians has come!

The soldier outside the tent rushed into the tent in a hurry. His armor was covered with sand and sweat. He looked panicked, but he couldn't hide his inner excitement.

He knelt on one knee and pounded the ground, making a "bang" sound.

Then he raised his head and said loudly: "Commander! The Magic Shield Corps will soon arrive in Memphis!"

His voice was like a huge rock thrown into stagnant water, and the originally chaotic and noisy command post suddenly became quiet.

The Hebrew generals, who had been arguing with their heads down and looked exhausted, were stunned. They first raised their heads suddenly, then slowly turned their heads to look at the soldier who had reported the incident.

Their movements were so strangely coordinated that the soldier in charge of reporting couldn't help swallowing.

There was silence in the big tent for a few seconds. Suddenly, the only sound was the whistling sound of the wind blowing through the tent.

After a while, someone muttered woodenly, "Are you talking about... the Magic Shield Corps?"

"real?"

Their tone was filled with uncertainty, and even their voices seemed to be swallowed up by the surrounding air.

Another person hesitated and asked, "Magic Shield Corps? You mean the Magic Shield Corps?"

There was a hint of hesitation in his words, as if a lost person wandering in the desert saw a downpour of rain about to fall.

And they kept asking questions so that their hopes would not be shattered in an instant like a mirage.

However, as more and more people began to ask and whisper in response, their emotions began to become excited.

A young deputy commander stood up suddenly, speaking rapidly as he breathed out, "They are really coming! The Magic Shield Corps is coming!"

"Ha ha ha ha!"

“Hahahahahaha!”

In an instant, the entire tent seemed to come alive, and the fatigue and frustration that had been suppressed for three days were immediately rekindled like hay meeting a flame.

No one doubted anymore, and no one backed down. Finally, a light called "hope" flashed in their eyes.

The magician's natural enemies are coming!

"Magic Shield Corps! Magic Shield Corps that are not afraid of magic!"

One general lowered his voice, unable to hide his excitement, "They will stop those damned Master Heka and disperse the sandstorm of the Star Magician!"

"Finally, we don't have to live in fear and terror day and night anymore!"

An elderly deputy general slowly stood up, his body still a little stiff.

"These days...how did we get through these days? Everyone knows it!" His voice was a little hoarse, as if dust had accumulated in his throat for a long time.

He pointed to his face, with sunken eyes and unkempt beard. "Look at me! I haven't eaten well, I haven't slept well, and I've had to stare at these damn Egyptians for several nights in a row."

"Where are the brothers? Some are injured, some are killed in battle, and they can't even drink a sip of hot water! Every night they sleep on sand, and when they wake up they are only half dead."

Having said this, he suddenly grabbed the corner of the table with his hand, and even his knuckles turned slightly white from the force.

He suddenly raised his voice: "But now! Everything is different!"

His breathing seemed to become smoother. His hands let go of the corner of the table, and his eyes slowly withdrew from the angry memories.

"Finally, we don't have to worry about those damn spells anymore, and we don't have to be suppressed by these Egyptians anymore! We can hold our heads high!"

The deputy commander's tone became more and more passionate, even trembling with excitement: "The Magic Shield Corps has arrived. We no longer have to swallow our anger or run around!"

As he finished speaking, his chest heaved and his eyes sparkled, yet he looked as if he would faint from his emotions at any moment.

After hearing his words, some people covered their faces, not knowing whether they were laughing or crying.

After a moment's silence, loud cheers and hoarse, continuous laughter broke out in the tent.

The Hebrew soldiers passed the good news to each other in their tired voices.

Even the soldiers who were running back and forth outside the door breathed a sigh of relief. Although they were extremely tired, they still continued to stay at their posts relying on this good news.

When the first ray of morning light tore through the night sky and projected onto the walls of Memphis, the flag of the Magic Shield Corps also appeared on the sand dunes outside the city.

The torrent of steel, unafraid of magic, has arrived.

The soldiers' armor reflected a cold and hard glow in the light, and their shields and spears gathered together to form a moving wall.

Their heavy footsteps even made the desert emit a "rumbling" sound.

"The Magic Shield Corps has arrived!"

In the city of Memphis, Egyptians who were imprisoned in open-air prisons crowded in front of the iron bars, looking up at the army entering the city.

There was fear and anxiety in their eyes, and many people began to whisper to each other.

"The Magic Shield Corps? Is that the army that defeated the Hittite civilization in the legend?"

"Those monsters who are not afraid of magic! I heard that no spells have any effect on them."

"What are they...doing in Memphis?"

Some Egyptians stepped back subconsciously, trying to stay away from the iron bars, their bodies trembling slightly with fear.

The Magic Shield Corps' troops were like a black iron stream, filing in from the city gate.

Every soldier moved in unison, spears like a forest and shields like a wall. There was not a single unnecessary movement and no one uttered a word.

The imprisoned Egyptians held their breath, and even the silent guards couldn't help but secretly glance at the army, their eyes full of awe and fear.

Walking in the front was the captain of the Magic Shield Corps. His entire body was covered in black iron armor, and even the visor hid his facial features. One could only vaguely see two cold eyes.
