Chapter 95 I Want It All

It was a dark night, and most of the houses on both sides of the street had their doors and windows closed, with only a few oil lamps flickering in the darkness.

They have arrived at their destination, and now it's time to check.

He walked to the door of the first house and knocked on it.

There was silence inside the door, and no one seemed to respond.

Lin Ke waited for a while, and seeing that no one opened the door, he turned and walked to the next door.

After the door of the second house was knocked, there was a rustling sound from inside.

After a moment, the door was opened a crack, and a middle-aged man stuck his head out. He looked at Lin Ke with a frown, and his eyes fell on the wooden cart behind him.

"Is there something wrong?" the middle-aged man asked impatiently.

Lin Ke smiled and pointed at the armor on the wooden cart: "These are old armors discarded by the palace. They are sold at a low price."

"Would you like to take a look? You can use it to make iron, or transform it into farm tools."

The middle-aged man glanced at the armor, a trace of disdain flashed in his eyes: "Old armor from the palace?"

"Humph, how can the armor in the palace be sold casually... Why is it so old?"

Lin Ke did not explain, but said calmly: "If you don't need it, then don't bother."

The middle-aged man looked at Lin Ke with disdain, snorted coldly, and slammed the door shut.

Lin Ke didn't stop and continued walking to the next house.

The next few households either did not respond, or showed no interest in Lin Ke's armor after opening the door. Some even mocked directly, "I don't want these junks even if they are given to me for free!"

Lin Ke was not discouraged. He knew that although this clumsy disguise looked ridiculous, it was the best way to lure out the enemy.

He had to convince the enemy that the Atlantean armor had been brought here by accident.

Finally, when he knocked on a door, a young man opened it.

He looked at Lin Ke, then at the armor on the wooden cart, and a hint of curiosity flashed in his eyes.

"These armors...are they really the old armors from the palace?" asked the young man.

Lin Ke nodded: "Yes, it's an old item discarded by the palace. If you need it, I can sell it to you at a low price."

The young man hesitated, reached out and touched one of the armors, as if weighing its value.

Just then, a door opposite suddenly opened.

An old man came out from behind the door.

His hair was gray and his face was covered with wrinkles, but his eyes were unusually bright and stared straight at the armor on the wooden cart.

"These armors...I bought them."

Lin Ke noticed that the old man's eyes did not linger on the other armors, but were fixed on the Atlantis armor in the basket that was glowing blue.

Lin Ke deliberately placed the armor at the bottom, with only a corner exposed, but the old man seemed to recognize it at a glance.

"Which one would you like to buy?"

Lin Ke asked casually while secretly observing the old man's reaction.

The old man did not answer, but walked straight to the wooden cart, reached out to lift the armor on it, and took the Atlantis armor.

Lin Ke immediately stepped forward and stood in front of the old man.

"Old man, these armors are sold by the piece. If you want one, you must first tell me which one you like."

Lin Ke's tone remained calm, but his eyes became sharp.

The old man raised his head and looked at Lin Ke.

There was a hint of coldness in his eyes, but he quickly regained his composure.

"I want them all."
