Lin Ke stood in the corridor of the palace, wearing the armor of an Atlantis soldier.
"Okay, don't follow me, go back now."
Lin Ke walked through the corridor and left the palace through a small path.
That was the path he and Ramses often took when playing hide-and-seek when they were children. Apart from Linke and Ramses who were very familiar with this path, almost no one knew about it.
Walking out of the path, there is a small forest illuminated by moonlight.
Lin Ke's armor glowed coldly in the moonlight, and he now looked no different from an ordinary soldier.
However, this scene made the servants who sent Lin Ke out terrified.
Their eyes widened, their bodies trembled, and some even knelt on the ground, kowtowed hard.
It was as if Lin Ke was wearing not armor, but something terrifying.
"Your Majesty the Holy Pharaoh... this... this is against the rules!"
An elderly attendant finally couldn't help himself and said in a trembling voice: "How can your holy body touch this lowly armor? This... this will anger the gods!"
Lin Ke just waved: "Go back quickly!"
"If anyone asks, you can say that His Majesty the Holy Pharaoh has rested."
"Stop crying!"
Just as Lin Ke was about to leave, the servants knelt on the ground again.
He knew that the fears and insecurities of these servants stemmed from deep-rooted traditions and beliefs.
In the culture of Holy Egypt, the Holy Pharaoh is the incarnation of God, a sacred and inviolable being.
Their every move must conform to ancient etiquette and rules, otherwise it will be regarded as blasphemy against the gods.
Nowadays, because the Holy Pharaoh’s status is above that of gods, Lin Ke does not have to worry even if it violates traditional taboos.
After all, it was he who summoned Ramses.
Moreover, he is his own brother.
Of course, Lin Ke didn’t care about these traditions. He only had one thought now.
That is to eliminate the two evil forces that threaten the city of Cairo and the Atlantis soldiers.
He knew that if he didn't act immediately today, he might never find them again.
After all, he was acting according to his own reasoning and the signs and images of the prophecy. After today, who knew whether the two monsters would still stay in the night sky in the southwest?
"You don't need to say anything more, just go back quickly."
Lin Ke said coldly, his expression becoming serious, "Also, no one is allowed to tell anyone about what happened today."
The servants looked at each other, not daring to say anything more.
They could only watch as Lin Ke, along with two elite soldiers, walked out of the palace gate and disappeared into the night.
Walking on the streets of Cairo, Lin Ke's thoughts did not linger on the exaggerated reactions of the servants just now.
His mind kept going back to Ramses's omen and Marasia's description.
The elephant-headed demon and the three-headed demon could not even be displayed on the civilization panel.
Lin Ke had encountered such a situation once before.
"Witch Society?" Lin Ke murmured in a low voice.
The last time Ramses fought against the demon Baphomet, he heard the demon talk about this mysterious organization.
The Baphomet demon was a member of the Coven, and its power was far beyond that of ordinary creatures.
Lin Ke remembered that he tried to lock the location of the Baphomet demon through the civilization panel, but the civilization panel could not display its location.
Now, these two forces are also unable to be detected by the civilization panel, which makes Lin Ke have to wonder whether they are also related to the Witches and Demons Society.
What kind of organization is the Coven?
Lin Ke was thinking as he walked.
He recalled that after meeting the demon Baphomet, he consulted a large number of ancient books and scrolls, trying to find clues related to the Coven.
However, this organization seems to have never appeared in history.
It is like a fog, hidden in the shadows of the world, and no one seems to know of its existence.
Are they an organization with evil powers?
Like an organization with demonic powers, mysterious powers?
If this is true, then the scale of the witches and demons coven may be quite large.
Perhaps their goal is more than just killing this Atlantis soldier.
Think about it, the last time was when the demon Baphomet assassinated Lin Ke.
Now it is the soldiers who are assassinating Atlantis.
Obviously, this organization may have a bigger plan, but Lin Ke just doesn’t know it now!
Thinking of this, Lin Ke’s heart couldn’t help but tighten.
He knew that if his guess was correct, the threat posed by the Coven would be far beyond his imagination.
He must find those two forces, or those two monsters, as soon as possible.
Then, stop their plot.
"Sir, we're almost there." A soldier reminded in a low voice, interrupting Lin Ke's thoughts.
Lin Ke nodded, his eyes becoming sharper.
Now, it was as if he was facing his prophesied fate.
You can only succeed, not fail!
Whatever the Coven's purpose was, he had to stop them.
"No matter what happens later, don't act rashly."
"Just cooperate with whatever I say."
"This is an order, understand?"
Lin Ke whispered.
The two soldiers nodded, their expressions solemn.
Afterwards, Lin Ke led them, pushing a wooden cart full of old armor, and slowly walked on the ancient streets northwest of Cairo.
