Ysera's beautiful, deep eyes fixed on Su Yan. A fierce look flashed across her delicate features, and without hesitation, she launched her attack. A dazzling green light emanated from her hand, like a burning flame, enveloping Su Yan's body at astonishing speed. Upon closer inspection, the green light transformed into long, slender, and resilient chains, snaking through the air like nimble venomous snakes, quickly wrapping around Su Yan's body.
However, facing Ysera's fierce attack, Su Yan stood still like a steady mountain, completely motionless. His face showed no fear at all, and even had a faint smile on it.
Seeing that Su Yan didn't dodge or evade, Ysera couldn't help but sneer contemptuously: "Haha, didn't dodge? Then you're dead!" She was confident that her chains would be able to bind Su Yan tightly.
But the next moment, something unexpected happened. The chains wrapped around Su Yan seemed to lose their effect. When they were finished, Su Yan was still able to walk out of them easily as if nothing had happened. He looked completely unharmed, as if nothing had happened.
"How...is this possible?" Ysera's eyes widened, staring at the scene in disbelief. What on earth is wrong with this guy? Why is he able to escape the control of my chains?
Ysera's heart was filled with confusion and shock, but she quickly calmed down. She narrowed her eyes slightly, a dangerous glint flickering in them. Then, with a casual wave of her hand, the chains that had fallen to the ground instantly came to life. Like a group of summoned snakes, they quickly turned and pounced on Su Yan again!
The chains rose up into the void at an astonishing speed, like flexible yet ferocious tentacles, madly wrapping around Su Yan's body. They quickly intertwined, tightly enveloping him, and continued to tighten and contract, as if to squeeze him into a small ball of flesh.
Yet, surprisingly, despite such a critical situation, Su Yan's face remained calm, without a trace of panic or fear. Just as Ysera was brimming with joy, believing she was about to succeed, something unexpected happened! Su Yan effortlessly broke free from the chains, emerging unscathed, as if the chains had no real effect on him at all.
"What the hell is going on?" Ysera's eyes widened as she watched in disbelief. She couldn't figure out how this guy had escaped the trap she had carefully laid.
Furious and humiliated, Ysera swung her hands once more. In an instant, more chains burst from the ground like snakes emerging from their burrows, whistling with ferocious force and shrill whistles. They twisted their bodies wildly in the air and swept towards Su Yan. This time, she decided to open her eyes wide and observe carefully how Su Yan dodged these chains.
Su Yan's lips curled up slightly, a faint smile forming, one that seemed to hold immense meaning. He slowly extended his arms, standing firmly like a statue, fearlessly facing Ysera's impending fierce attack.
In an instant, countless chains flashing with cold light rushed towards Su Yan like a torrential downpour. These chains danced in the air, like the flexible yet deadly tentacles of an octopus, wrapping around Su Yan's body at an astonishing speed and tightening continuously, with such force that it seemed as if they would crush Su Yan into a bloody mess.
Yet, from beginning to end, Su Yan stood there silently, without a single move of resistance, nor any expression of pain or discomfort. Ysera stared at Su Yan intently, secretly wondering: Could this guy have been defeated so easily? Why couldn't she see a trace of fear or despair on his face?
Just as Ysera was filled with doubts, believing Su Yan to be dead, a shocking scene occurred—Su Yan unexpectedly walked out of the layers of tight chains unharmed. His steps were light and his demeanor was calm, as if what he had just experienced was just a trivial episode.
"It seems you need to hone your skills," Su Yan said casually, reaching out to grasp the Ten Directions Sword beside him. His gaze was fixed on Ysera before him, like a torch. "Is this all you have mastered?"
Faced with Su Yan's ridicule and provocation, Ysera gnashed her teeth in anger. Suddenly, her figure vanished like a ghost, leaving only a slight ripple in the air to prove her existence.
Su Yan glanced around warily, trying to spot any sign of Ysera. However, this mysterious opponent seemed to have completely merged into this dream world. No matter how hard Su Yan searched, he could find no trace of her. After all, here, Ysera had a unique advantage: she could hide at will, making her difficult for the enemy to detect. However, Su Yan knew one thing: if Ysera wanted to launch a new attack, she would definitely reappear. So, he tightly grasped the Ten Directions Sword, concentrating on waiting for that crucial moment...
In that split second, Ysera's figure suddenly appeared in mid-air like a ghost. Her posture was light and graceful, yet it carried a chilling aura. With her appearance, an incredibly fierce attack, like lightning, blasted straight towards Su Yan.
