Su Yan stood quietly, his gaze slowly sweeping over the fallen Yaki scattered around him. His eyes were as calm as water, as if the scene before him was just a trivial skirmish. However, only he knew that this time was completely different from the past. The battle was surprisingly effortless, like chopping vegetables in the kitchen.
Aurelia on the side could not hide her excitement. She opened her mouth excitedly and said, "You succeeded! I didn't expect this group of Zerg to be so vulnerable. They are so weak!" Her voice was full of surprise and admiration for Su Yan's strength.
But at this moment, Azshara shook her head gently and said solemnly: "No, don't be too happy too soon. This is just the beginning."
Hearing this, Su Yan's heart tightened, and he quickly raised his head and looked forward. On the distant horizon, he saw a vast, red Zerg rapidly gathering. They swarmed densely, forming a terrifying wave. These Zergs moved with incredible agility, like giant spiders scuttling across the ground. Their shadows shimmered eerily in the sunlight, instilling a sense of dread.
As time went by, the red Zerg came closer and closer. They moved as fast as lightning and in the blink of an eye they were already in front of Su Yan and others.
"What the hell are these bugs? How can they be so disgusting!" Alleria stared ahead with disgust, her brows furrowed tightly together, as if she had witnessed something utterly terrifying. Azshara, standing beside her, followed Alleria's gaze and soon discovered a swarm of bright red insects emerging from nowhere. These insects were bizarre and hideous, resembling, at first glance, enlarged red cockroaches, yet dozens of times larger than ordinary cockroaches.
"These are the Qiraji!" Azshara quickly determined, her tone tinged with surprise and solemnity. "They say this is a race of insects that has endured many hardships and disasters!" she continued. "Once, they were nearly utterly destroyed by the trolls. But who would have thought they would survive so tenaciously and gradually recover? Later, even we elves attacked them and drove them from our territory."
Alleria listened to Azshara's story and nodded slightly, with a serious expression on her face: "It seems that the fate of this race is really bumpy and tortuous." As she spoke, she unconsciously tightened the weapon in her hand, as if she was ready to deal with possible danger.
With their ever-increasing reproductive capacity, the Qiraji's strength skyrocketed. While outwardly, this race appeared unremarkable, not significantly different from before, in reality, their inherent energy and overall capabilities far surpassed those of the past. Their defenses were particularly impressive, with unique accomplishments that drew widespread attention.
Yet, facing such a formidable foe, Su Yan remained unfazed, unfazed. He grasped the precious sword known as "Shifang" and swung it fiercely. Instantly, a towering, imposing prison appeared. Following this, countless black beams of light emerged like mushrooms after a rainstorm, intertwining and entwining like a massive, sturdy cage, tightly enclosing the area.
Suddenly, a deafening roar rang out. It was like thunder exploding from the sky, or a thousand horses galloping past, making the eardrums buzz and the mind tremble! Just as everyone was astonished, the next moment, a series of extremely sharp sword lights suddenly flashed out.
These sword lights were like nimble dragons breaking free from their restraints, roaring out from the deep sea, carrying unparalleled momentum and power, dancing wildly in all directions with a violent and swift manner. They carved dazzling paths through the air, tearing the air apart wherever they passed, emitting sharp and piercing sounds of breaking through the air.
In the blink of an eye, these crisscrossing, soaring sword lights intertwined and merged, transforming into an impenetrable curtain of light. This curtain of light was like an indestructible iron wall, tightly enveloping this world, leaving no trace of cracks. From a distance, this curtain of light looked like a towering mountain, towering over the sky and the earth; it also resembled a surging ocean, its waves magnificent and vast.
Even more miraculous, this curtain of light wasn't static, but flickered and shifted constantly, as if alive. Upon closer inspection, it was revealed to be formed from countless terrifying sword shadows. Each sword shadow exuded a chilling aura, its icy edge seemingly capable of piercing through everything in the world, sending shivers down one's spine.
At this moment, the reckless Qiraji insects who had dared to approach rashly finally sensed the danger. However, it was too late! Before they could react, the overwhelming, dense swarm of sword shadows swept down like a torrential rain. In an instant, blood and flesh flew everywhere, and screams rang out. The pitiful insects were powerless against such a powerful attack, strangled in an instant, leaving not even a trace of residue. The entire battlefield fell into a deathly silence, only the dancing sword shadows still shone with a cold light, as if announcing the cruelty and ruthlessness of this slaughter to the world.
Su Yan narrowed his eyes slightly, watching as the sky suddenly became overcast with dark clouds, lightning, and thunder. Suddenly, bolts of lightning, as thick as dragons, streaked across the heavens, descending with devastating force, as if to inflict a harsh punishment upon the land.
