Chapter 305 Necropolis

As they approached, Su Yan stopped and began to carefully observe his surroundings. They appeared to be on the first floor of an underground cavern, the ground covered in a mess of large and small rubble. From time to time, pale, bony hands would slowly emerge from the cracks in the rocks, looking quite eerie and terrifying.

Fortunately, these bone hands were not aggressive, so they were not too scary. In addition, in this area, you could occasionally see lonely tombs standing there abruptly, adding a bit of an eerie atmosphere to the whole scene.

"How's it going? How do you feel about this first floor I carefully designed?" Shalltear asked Su Yan with a smile, full of anticipation. A hint of pride and excitement crossed her beautiful yet slightly mysterious face.

Su Yan nodded slightly in approval. "I have to say, the design of this first floor does look quite outstanding! Both the layout and the atmosphere are very unique."

Hearing Su Yan's praise, Shalltear couldn't help but laugh out loud, but quickly returned to a state of serious thinking, and continued: "Well, although the overall atmosphere is created to be stronger, its offensiveness may be slightly weaker, relatively speaking." After saying this, she frowned slightly, as if she was a little concerned about this issue.

Su Yan nodded in agreement and expressed his opinion: "Indeed, if we want to better prevent those uninvited guests from rashly breaking in, perhaps we can make some improvements or enhancements to our attack methods."

After hearing this, Shalltear chuckled mischievously and responded, "Haha, actually, my original intention was mainly to scare those guys who dared to break in here without permission! If they don't know what's good for them and still want to go deeper, hehe... then I will definitely not let them go easily, don't even think about passing this second level!" As she spoke, a cunning look flashed across her face.

"If that's the case, then what does the second floor look like?" Su Yan asked curiously.

Shalltear's lips curled up into a mysterious smile, then she turned and walked forward. After a few steps, she stopped at a spot where a magnificent archway stood, like a gateway to an unknown world.

"Come on, follow me closely. As long as we pass through this archway together, we can reach the second floor." Shalltear turned around and called out to Su Yan.

Su Yan hurriedly quickened his pace to catch up with Shalltear. Once they successfully passed through the archway, the scene before them was indeed vastly different from the first floor. Su Yan was surprised to find that the number of tombs here was significantly fewer than on the first floor. Instead, the ground was filled with stones of various shapes and unique characteristics. Some were rounded and smooth, as if shaped by long-term water erosion; others were sharply angular, as if eroded by countless storms. Large and small, they were scattered in an orderly manner, adding a unique charm to the entire scene.

Su Yan walked forward cautiously, scanning his surroundings with curiosity. Meanwhile, Shalltear was already standing quietly not far ahead, arms folded across her chest. She looked at Su Yan confidently and said, "Don't worry, wait a minute and experience the wonders of this second floor for yourself!"

Su Yan walked steadily forward, his expression unwavering. Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed: "Boom!" The entire earth seemed to tremble, as if a devastating earthquake had struck. However, in the face of such violent tremors, Su Yan simply narrowed his eyes slightly. His steps were unaffected, as steady as a rock, as if he were walking on a flat, boundless road.

Shalltear, standing not far away, watched this scene with a look of surprise. She had originally thought that such a strong shaking would be enough to put Su Yan in trouble, but she hadn't expected him to handle it so easily and effortlessly. It was truly beyond her expectations.

At that moment, huge rocks began to roll down from the stone walls on both sides, whistling and crashing towards Su Yan. These rocks looked ordinary at first glance, but upon closer inspection, a strange black light flickered faintly on their surfaces, clearly imbued with some terrifying dark energy. If they struck Su Yan, they would undoubtedly cause him considerable damage and distress.

But Su Yan continued forward, seemingly oblivious. The madly falling rocks bounced back before they could reach him. Just when everyone thought the rocks had lost their threat, they exploded the moment they approached Su Yan! Another series of deafening explosions: "Boom!" As the explosions echoed, thick black fog quickly spread, enveloping Su Yan in the blink of an eye.

And even more unexpected things are yet to come. In the black fog, suddenly, sharp swords with cold gleaming light broke out from the ground and pierced in with lightning speed.

Shalltear stared at the bottomless darkness in front of her with a sharp gaze. She frowned slightly and asked, "How is it? How do you feel about this new power?" As soon as she finished speaking, a figure slowly walked out of the darkness. It was Su Yan.

The corners of his mouth curved upwards, a confident and charming arc formed. That smile, like the warm spring sun, instantly dispelled the surrounding haze. He spoke softly, "Hmm, quite impressive! With this level of power, an ordinary person would surely be easily defeated." Without the slightest hesitation, Su Yan resolutely raised his feet and strode forward.
