Chapter 16 Seven Nights of Ghostly Tales (The End)



Xiao Cheng reacted swiftly, grabbing him and leaning back with all her might to pull him up. Upon closer inspection, Fang He's forehead was covered in cold sweat, his entire left hand was covered in blood, and his arm hung limply at his sides.

"Are you alright? How did you get so badly injured?" Xiao Cheng felt a little guilty. After all, if it weren't for her, the big boss wouldn't have taken the risk of fighting the digital humans head-on, and naturally wouldn't have been injured.

Fang He shook his head, just about to say something.

White mist gradually rose from all around, enveloping them and the entire rooftop. From the depths of the mist, the digital beings' unwilling whimpers and roars echoed.

"Is this... over?"

Xiao Cheng waited in bewilderment until the white mist completely dissipated before realizing that she had not left the instance. She and Fang He were standing in the wilderness dozens of meters away from the building.

It raised the bucket high and then shoveled it down heavily.

With a deafening roar, the entire building collapsed instantly, sending dirt and rocks flying everywhere. Blackish-red, foul-smelling blood flowed from the rubble as excavators swiftly and skillfully rolled over the bricks and stones.

"Ding-dong." The crisp notification sound rang out again, and the surrounding scenery was covered with a layer of mosaic, becoming blurry and illusory.

"Attention all players, the Seven Nights of Ghosts dungeon has ended. There are currently 2 players alive. Players are logging out, and points are being calculated."

The mosaic effect gradually spread from the scenery to Fang He, and Xiao Cheng saw him give her a gentlemanly bow with his intact right arm.

"It's a pleasure working with you, Xiao Cheng. I'll be waiting for you in the next instance."

"Wait!" Xiao Cheng wanted to say something, but a white light flashed before her eyes, and then she fainted as if she had been hit hard, her consciousness falling into chaos.
