Chapter 807 Star Core Power? Brother Sen, don't mess with my sister! 327,000 items sold in the first hour!
Star nucleus?
May 29th, an ordinary Friday.
Inside the Yunkun Aerospace R&D Center, Lin Maoye opened the final revised draft sent by Chen Yansen, and his expression instantly turned serious.
Previously, the full-flow staged combustion cycle engine that he and Zhou Junping jointly designed did not receive the boss's approval.
Over the past month, he and his team have repeatedly improved the plan. They intended to send version 2.0 to Chen Yansen, but unexpectedly, the boss sent back a completely new design plan.
"Who developed the Star Core Engine?"
Lin Maoye stared at the document on the screen and muttered to himself.
Could it be that the group has another R&D team hidden besides Yunkun Aerospace?
That's absolutely impossible!
Could it be Chen Yansen himself?
The moment this thought crossed Lin Maoye's mind, he was momentarily lost in thought, his mind a complete mess.
But he quickly recalled that when he first joined the company, he had overheard his colleagues chatting and saying that the big boss had completed the work of tackling a number of key technologies in the development of the Dawn A220 EUV lithography machine.
He initially thought it was a joke!
As is widely known, Chen Yansen's university major was journalism. Although he was exceptionally talented in language learning and business operations, aerospace dynamics was by no means an easy subject.
This field involves four major categories: electronics, thermodynamics, materials science, and mechanics. Most people can only master a part of it in their lifetime, which is the core reason why the development of the aerospace field is relatively slow.
The intelligence and brainpower of ordinary people are simply not enough to support learning the whole system. Being able to become a leader in a single field is already a top technical expert.
Lin Maoye has worked for aerospace associations in Europe and North America and knows that the industry relies on a strong industrial base and cross-departmental collaboration.
People like Chen Yansen, who can control the entire design process of aerospace engines, simply don't exist in reality!
If so, then it is either a demon or a god!
However, after reading through the entire plan, Lin Maoye had to admit that the Star Core Engine was indeed far superior to their previous design in terms of thermodynamic cycle design, thrust calculation, and propellant flow matching.
In traditional rocket engines, most of the propellant is pressurized by a turbopump and then directly injected into the main combustion chamber for combustion. This technology is called staged combustion cycle.
Chen Yansen's design approach is completely different, allowing fuel and oxidizer to flow through their respective pre-combustion chambers and turbines before finally entering the main combustion chamber.
The operation process is roughly as follows:
All oxidant plus a small amount of fuel → enters the oxygen-enriched pre-combustion chamber → generates oxygen-enriched gas → drives the oxidant pump turbine → injects into the main combustion chamber;
All fuel plus a small amount of oxidizer → enters the fuel-rich pre-combustion chamber → generates fuel-rich gas → drives the fuel pump turbine → injects into the main combustion chamber.
Because the propellant is driven into the main combustion chamber by two independent, partially burned, high-pressure gas streams, it can achieve a higher chamber pressure than any other cycle, thus obtaining unparalleled specific impulse and thrust.
Even more ingenious is that the working fluid driving the oxidizer pump is oxygen-rich gas, which has a relatively low temperature, thus avoiding extreme oxidation and corrosion of the metal turbine.
The turbine working fluid that drives the fuel pump is rich in fuel gas, which has a lower temperature and is safer.
This makes the design of turbopumps simpler and significantly improves their durability.
Compared to gas generator cycle technology, the advantage of full-flow staged combustion cycle lies not in simple performance improvement, but in stability and reliability.
The dual-chamber design significantly reduces the turbine's operating temperature and pressure, resulting in milder operating conditions and a longer service life.
Lin Maoye's team's previous solution was merely an optimization of the traditional staged combustion cycle. While it alleviated some turbine pressure and propellant waste, the gap between it and Chen Yansen's Star Core Engine solution was obvious.
Thinking of this, Lin Maoye immediately called Zhou Junping and decided to build the Star Core Engine first.
Whether a product is good or not cannot be determined by simply looking at the design documents; it must be verified through static testing.
The strategy is simple: just fix the engine on a dedicated test stand, introduce propellant and ignite it, and continue for several seconds to several minutes to measure key performance parameters such as thrust, specific impulse, and combustion stability, while monitoring structural vibration and temperature distribution.
In addition, local design flaws can be identified by individually verifying the functions of subsystems such as valve response speed, turbine pump speed, and propellant supply stability.
Finally, the launch environment, including high and low temperature cycles, vibration and shock, vacuum, and high pressure, must be simulated. Through multiple ignitions and long-term test runs, the engine's actual lifespan will be verified.

On the other side.
Chen Yansen stood in front of the glass curtain wall of his office, pondering the optimization path for engines, rockets, satellites, and power converters.
The first three are relatively easy; they can be developed by Lin Maoye's team by innovating on their existing solutions. However, the development of the power converter is far more difficult than expected.
There is an idea, but it needs to be verified repeatedly.
He plans to add a new laboratory in the science park, and equipment, materials and personnel are currently being prepared intensively.
The concept of wireless power networks may seem fantastical, but it is not complicated in essence.
Its core principle is to convert electrical energy into high-frequency electromagnetic waves for directional transmission. The receiving end captures the electromagnetic waves through an antenna and then converts them back into electrical energy.
From a physics perspective, it is not much different from the principle of wireless communication.
However, the difficulties in research and development are concentrated in three areas: distance attenuation, electromagnetic interference, and cost control.
Distance attenuation is an inevitable limitation of physical laws. Transmission efficiency decreases sharply as the distance between the sender and receiver increases. If the distance doubles, the efficiency may drop to a fraction of the original efficiency.
Although there is a huge profit margin in selling Asian electricity to Europe and the United States where prices are higher, the profit margin will be greatly compressed if losses are too high.
Electromagnetic interference is a more troublesome problem. Strong alternating electromagnetic fields can cause molecules in human tissue to vibrate and generate heat, which can very likely cause skin burns.
Currently, there are strict international standards to limit the intensity of human exposure to electromagnetic fields. Therefore, electrical energy must be converted into healthier and harmless microwaves. The specific waveband and frequency to be used still need extensive field testing and verification.
Once a comprehensive satellite and power network is established in low Earth orbit, Senlian Group will have a stronger voice in the energy and communications industries.
It will generate at least trillions of dollars in economic benefits and create tens of millions of jobs.

Meanwhile, Monsanto is embroiled in a negative storm surrounding glyphosate.
The company's stock price first halved, then plummeted, and this agrochemical giant lost $40 billion in market value in less than a month.
Even more devastating is the fact that there have been over 60,000 lawsuits against Monsanto, with total claims exceeding $400 billion.
Even selling the entire company wouldn't be enough to cover the compensation.
Moreover, the number of indictments continues to increase over time.
Protests against Monsanto reached their peak in late May.
Faced with this situation, the Beacon Country Business Association had no choice but to intervene.
First, they met with the Monsanto board of directors to determine a general solution, which was then announced to the public. They claimed they would urge Monsanto to come up with a compensation plan as soon as possible.
Privately, however, the association was trying to exonerate Monsanto and do its utmost to reduce the amount of compensation sought by the farmers.
There is only one core principle: a $400 billion compensation is absolutely impossible; at worst, Monsanto will be forced into bankruptcy and liquidation.
They have a clever plan: if these lawsuits drag on for a few years, the protesters' enthusiasm and initiative will gradually fade, and then they can settle the matter with a "package deal".
As for Monsanto, it can only be "reborn" through splitting up, restructuring, or being acquired.
North Korea's hacking activities have truly angered the United States.
Monsanto, the world's largest agrochemical company, has annual revenue of nearly 20 billion US dollars, making it a veritable goose that lays golden eggs.
Now that it has been completely destroyed, the United States will naturally not let it go.
Within just half a month, North Korea's overseas assets were frozen by hundreds of millions of US dollars, and even some of its real estate properties were not spared.
"Damn it! These lunatics, it wasn't me who did it!"
Upon learning of the devastating losses, the fat man, far away in North Korea, couldn't help but curse loudly.
This nearly $200 million in assets was something he had worked hard to accumulate. How many "super dollars" would he have to sell to earn it back?
Despite his efforts to explain, the United States simply did not believe him.
...
...
At 5 p.m. sharp, Chen Yansen left work on time.
Instead of returning to Yujing Villa, he drove a Maserati to Luzhou University of Science and Technology to pick up Wang Ziyan and go to Dashu Mountain to watch wild boars do somersaults.
Of course, it's also a natural thing to freeload.
He had told Wang Zihao that Wang Ziyan could ask him for reimbursement for any pocket money she asked for.
"Brother Sen, can you guys please stop messing with me?"
On the phone, Wang Zihao's tone was full of resentment.
He's practically become their middleman for funds!
Chen Yansen spent Wang Ziyan's money, and Wang Ziyan turned to Wang Zihao and complained about being poor. After Wang Zihao transferred the money to his sister, Chen Yansen then transferred the same amount back to Wang Zihao.
To be honest, Wang Zihao had already sensed that something was wrong.
After stammering for a while on the phone, he couldn't help but remind him, "Brother Sen, Ziyan is your half-sister!"
The implication couldn't be clearer: Don't mess with my sister!
"Don't worry, I'm not that kind of person."
Chen Yansen patted his chest and assured him.
Wang Zihao breathed a sigh of relief, but he forgot one thing: the one who was now taking the initiative to approach him was actually Wang Ziyan.
On Mount Da Shu.
A wisp of cloud disappeared into the mountain stream, and the sky gradually darkened.
Inside the Maserati sports car, Chen Yansen released his arm from Wang Ziyan's waist and leaned back in his seat.
Wang Ziyan licked her lips, took a few deep breaths, and before Chen Yansen could react, she pounced on him again.
People who have just fallen in love can while away an entire day just by kissing, and Wang Ziyan is currently in this stage.
After playing for a while, Chen Yansen wanted to go back to his hometown, but as soon as he raised his hand, Wang Ziyan stopped him.
Sigh, this is too plain!
He secretly groaned inwardly.
After some time, Wang Ziyan asked softly during a break, "Brother Yansen, can you break up with that woman?"
that?
Which one?
Chen Yansen smiled but remained silent.
His principle is "go for it if there's a benefit, and withdraw if there's a demand," never dragging things out.
"You don't want to?" Wang Ziyan blinked her watery eyes and looked at him pitifully.
"You need to understand, you are the third party."
Chen Yansen said calmly.
After saying that, he carefully counted in his mind, and Ziyan's ranking was not high.
Wang Ziyan was a smart person. After realizing that she would not get the result she wanted, she stopped pestering him, but felt a chill in her heart.
She finally realized that Chen Yansen would not change.
That scumbag!
They never hesitate to take advantage, but pretend to be naive and clueless when it comes to taking responsibility!
"Take me back."
Wang Ziyan lowered her head and looked out the window in a huff.
Chen Yansen didn't take it seriously, started the car, and sped off towards Luzhou University of Science and Technology.
He won't buy it; he'll be fine after a few days.
On the other side.
The pre-sale link for Mengjie Sponge has finally been launched on Orange Mall.
The standard version is priced at 999 yuan, and the top-of-the-line version is priced at 1999 yuan.
The standard version can create a semi-quiet, low-noise zone within a room of ten cubic meters, absorbing most floor vibrations, water flow sounds, and conversations.
The top-of-the-line version can create an absolutely quiet space of ten cubic meters, allowing people with noise allergies to sleep peacefully.
While the price of 1999 yuan isn't cheap, it offers excellent value for money compared to professional soundproof cabins.
When Chen Yansen returned to Yujing Villa, Mengjie Sponge had only been on sale for an hour, and sales had already exceeded 327,000 units, generating revenue of 502.475 million yuan.
Surprisingly, overseas delivery addresses accounted for one-third of the total orders.
However, this is just a pre-sale link; the first batch of goods will not be officially shipped until June 8th.
I took a sip of water and felt a bit tired. I'll fight on tomorrow; I'm exhausted again today.
