Who dares to shout like that here? This is utterly unbecoming and disorderly. The servant looked at the child in front of him and was about to throw him away. The child was not afraid and walked forward fiercely, intimidating the servant, who held the stick in the air.

"What, are you scared?"

That's all the ambition they have.

"Who do you think you are? You're just a kid in your teens. I'm only ignoring you because I'm afraid someone will die."

"I just don't dare," the child sneered a few times and barged into the house. This house was nothing special; it couldn't compare to his family's former mansion. It was only because his family had fallen on hard times that he dared to do this; otherwise, he would have shown these people what true wealth and luxury were.

In his eyes, this mansion was only a place where servants could barely live.

Seeing this, the servant was frantic and hurriedly tried to go in and stop the person. Fortunately, there were still experts in the mansion. Soon, the servant saw Dao Yun holding the child by the neck, about to throw him out.

The child still protested, "Put me down!"

“I’ll put you down,” Daoyun said. “Once I get out of this door, you can go wherever you’re supposed to go.”

There were several steps leading to the official residence. Daoyun let go of his hand, letting him roll down them. She didn't budge an inch, looking down directly at the person whose mouth was full of mud.

"How could you do this to me? I'm going to see the person who came with you that day. Aren't you afraid she'll cause you trouble?"

Dao Yun didn't take this threat seriously at all. She sneered, "I'm not afraid. If you want to complain, go ahead. See whose side the Buddha Maiden is on."

"By the way, let me give you a piece of advice: even if I kill you and bring your head to the Buddha, she will only think that I did the right thing."

She had a lot of anger to vent, and she had expected Jiang Yurong to come. She had been staying at Jiang Yufan's place for the past few days, and sure enough, this person would not give up and would come to disturb their lives again.

Jiang Yurong was only then somewhat frightened. He couldn't die, so he became obedient and looked up at Daoyun: "Is she a Buddhist nun?"

"She's not, stop asking!"

Dao Yun wouldn't give Jiang Yurong any chance to understand Jiang Yufan; she only wanted Jiang Yurong to leave and never appear again. She was about to drive Jiang Yurong away when Jiang Yufan's footsteps approached Dao Yun.

As soon as Jiang Yurong saw Jiang Yufan walk up to him, he immediately focused his gaze on Jiang Yufan and didn't look away for a moment.

"Buddha Maiden, why have you come out?" Dao Yun frowned when he saw Jiang Yu Fan.

Why would a Buddhist nun go out and make herself unhappy? That's not right.

“He came looking for me. He won’t give up if I don’t come out to see him.” Jiang Yufan knew that since the matter had come to her, she might as well be frank with him instead of hiding.

"Come in." Jiang Yufan glanced at Jiang Yurong, then tugged at Daoyun, urging him to calm his anger and follow her inside.

Once inside, Jiang Yufan had the door closed and no one else was allowed to enter. Fortunately, Gu Sidu had gone to the county government office to deal with Xu Zhian today, so he didn't have to see him and get angry.

"Ask whatever you want," Jiang Yufan said.

"I want her out!" Jiang Yurong pointed at Daoyun.

“It’s impolite to point at someone,” Jiang Yufan said, not agreeing with Jiang Yurong. “With me here, as long as you speak properly, she won’t do anything to you.”

I don't believe it.

"If you keep nagging, I'll ask you to leave." Jiang Yufan didn't want to argue with him anymore.

"I want to ask you, what's your name? Have we met before?" Jiang Yurong asked. "How do you know my name, and why did my mother want me to come this way?"

Do you know my house?

"The Jiang family is your family, does it matter whether I know them or not?" Jiang Yufan smiled faintly.

"You didn't answer every question, so what's the point of me asking?" Jiang Yurong was furious. He was about to stand up, but looking at Daoyun, he sat down again.

Dao Yun didn't move at all, leaning against the pillar, not even bothering to spare a glance.

“My name is Jiang Yufan, which is very similar to yours. We probably haven’t met before.” Jiang Yufan took a sip of tea.

"No, you know my name, you must have seen me before. I felt you were familiar the first time I saw you." Jiang Yurong thought carefully. The name Jiang Yufan was also familiar. It was more than just similar to his name. Wait, he seemed to remember something. His mother had mentioned this name.

"Are you my family?" Jiang Yurong asked.

"Doesn't the Jiang family only have one son, you? How could I be your sister?"

“But my mother mentioned you. I don’t have many opportunities to go out and meet people. I’ve only been to Chenxiang Temple. Have you been to Chenxiang Temple? I think you look a bit like the bodhisattvas there. My mother said that a female bodhisattva saved my life and that I should befriend anyone with a similar face in the future.”

“I’ve been to Chang Le City and haven’t been anywhere else. You must have mistaken me for someone else.” Jiang Yu Fan didn’t want to acknowledge her. Today, she understood even more clearly that if she were to acknowledge Jiang Yu Rong, she would still be entangled with the Jiang family. She still couldn’t escape the Jiang family, and she would have to take care of this younger brother who was left behind by the Jiang family and could bring glory to their ancestors.

Who is Jiang Yurong? He's been pampered all his life and is a spoiled child who wants everything to be the best. He was pampered to the extreme as a child, and now there's no going back. Jiang Yaoguang thought he could raise the most capable son, but at first glance, Jiang Yurong is unreasonable, only knows how to act tough, and is completely incapable of taking any responsibility.

This son was raised in vain.

The Jiang family suffered retribution for what Jiang Yaoguang had done; karma is a wheel, and now that Jiang Yurong has enjoyed his moment of glory, he should experience the true hardships of life.

This is what Jiang Yurong deserves; it's the retribution for Jiang Yaoguang's sins coming back to haunt him.

If Jiang Yufan were still in the Jiang family, and Jiang Yaoguang hadn't acted so decisively, perhaps Jiang Yufan would have taken on the responsibility of raising her younger brother. Even though she knew her father didn't value her at all, she was willing to pave the way for him out of a little blood ties.

But the Jiang family abandoned her first, and made her leave the Jiang family first. Now Jiang Yufan feels that all of this is fate. What she lost in the past has also made her see clearly what should have flowed away. She left early, but she can step into a new and bright path.

Even though she understood that Madam Jiang was entrusting Jiang Yurong to her, she still wanted to ask Jiang Yurong's opinion. She wanted to see if Jiang Yurong still had any conscience, or any courage to act like a human being.

"If I were the person you're talking about, what would you do?"

“You are older than me, so I will naturally recognize you as my older sister. You won’t abandon me, so I will live here with you. You have to raise me, help me get married and have children in the future.”

"Speaking of which, I remember I have an older sister at home. I never saw what she looked like at Chenxiang Temple. I've always been curious about her. I can think of you as her."

"You wish!" There were some things Jiang Yufan couldn't say, but Daoyun could. Daoyun rolled her eyes at this arrogant person and raised her sword to go at Jiang Yurong.

"Daoyun," Jiang Yufan called her again. She looked at Jiang Yurong and said, "Alright, I know. It's a pity I'm not someone you know. I've given you some money, so you won't starve. We're not related, so don't come back. If you come looking for me again, I won't care about your life or death."

"Daoyun, I've met him. Throw him out."

"good!"

Daoyun loved doing these things. She grabbed the back of Jiang Yurong's collar, and amidst Jiang Yurong's cries of "Ouch!", the noise in the room slowly subsided. Only after the room was completely quiet did Jiang Yufan turn around to watch the departing figure.

She smiled bitterly. This Jiang family really was her nemesis. But this time she listened to her heart. She would no longer have any connection with the Jiang family. She had done everything she could and had a clear conscience.

At this moment, Jiang Yufan began to understand a little of what the abbot had said: let go of all attachments in the world, and the Bodhisattvas and Buddhas will guide people's hearts. In the boat of life's suffering, people row their own boat, crossing the sea of suffering to reach the other shore. While in the sea of suffering, one struggles and suffers, unable to see clearly. But once on the other side, looking back at that sea of suffering, and at those who are still struggling in it, only then will one understand.

All suffering can only be overcome through self-salvation. Only when one's own attachments dissipate will the Bodhisattva reach out to guide sentient beings. The Buddha's light shines upon you, and those who are not illuminated by the Buddha's light will receive retribution for their evil deeds, without needing to engage in endless cycles of revenge, painful struggles, or be overwhelmed by their own ego.

Jiang Yufan understood, but those trapped in the sea of suffering did not.

Jiang Yurong was thrown out the door again. This time, he finally stood up for himself and said to Daoyun, "Why are you treating me like this? I don't owe you anything."

"No debt?" These words should have been kept quiet, because they made Dao Yun unable to suppress his anger. "Your life was given to you by the Buddhist nun. If she wants you to die, you should die. I'm not afraid to tell you that when you almost died at Chenxiang Temple, it was the Buddhist nun who cut off her own flesh and bled out blood, ten wounds and ten bowls of blood to save you. It was all because of you that she went through those hardships that she should not have had to go through. And what about you?"

“You’ve always been the one who’s been pampered, and you’ve had so many happy years. You should open your eyes and see the world. Jiang Yurong, the Buddha’s daughter won’t acknowledge you, so you should understand that and stop trying to embarrass yourself by coming back to her.”

"You're not worthy. Take the money the Buddhist nun gave you and get lost."

After Daoyun finished speaking, he turned and left, instructing the servant to close the door, thus keeping Jiang Yurong and the trouble outside.

It took Jiang Yurong a long time to understand the meaning behind Daoyun's words.

Jiang Yufan, Jiang Yurong, it turns out that the woman with the face of Guanyin was his sister.

The meeting that I couldn't see at Chenxiang Temple, I met in Changle City.
