Chapter 278: Sydney Cow Tracks

Inside the manager's office of Australia's Sydney International Airport, Nick, a black commander from the United States, stood in front of the window, looking at this strange land with a lot of emotion.

Australia's history is very complicated. The first group of residents to arrive in Australia were exiled prisoners from Britain. It is also a member of the British Commonwealth.

As an American, Nick is naturally not afraid of the situation here. His subordinates are all elite agents from the United States, and they are naturally accompanied by Australian soldiers on this trip. Their goal this time is only to explore rather than annihilate.

"Mr. Nick, you know, although this flight took off from our airport, I don't know the situation of the plane. That plane belongs to your American company..."

Listening to the airport manager's rambling disclaimer, Nick frowned and slowly said, "Manager, don't worry. We understand your difficulties and naturally won't blame you. We just want to know if anything strange happened here before this plane took off."

"Strange things?"

Upon hearing this, the airport manager was visibly stunned and began to carefully recall what happened before the flight took off a few days ago.

Unfortunately, he was not at the airport that day, but was flirting with his secretary in the office. All successful people behave like this, and he is no exception.

Seeing the airport manager hesitant and unable to speak, Nick could only sigh and slowly said, "Forget it, just call the staff who are on duty that day."

The airport manager looked at the ferocious Australian troops standing nearby, then at the serious-looking FBI investigator Nick. He finally realized that this matter had nothing to do with him. He breathed a sigh of relief and said, "Okay, please wait a moment. I'll have my staff come to you right away."

After that, the airport manager made a phone call right in front of them and asked directly, "Ahem, Lemuel, please call the staff on duty at the airport the day before yesterday to my office. There are a few gentlemen from the United States who have some questions for them."

"What do you mean Mr. American? Are those American girls asking for money again?"

A sarcastic young female voice came from the other end of the phone. It sounded like a young female voice, and the voice was very loud. Everyone present was either a soldier or an agent, so they could naturally hear what was said on the phone. The agents and soldiers all looked at the airport manager, who seemed to be middle-aged, with expressionless faces.

The airport manager was under immense pressure from being looked at like that, and his voice gradually became impatient: "Hurry up! If I don't see those people in half an hour, get out!"

Hearing the irritable voice, the woman on the other end of the phone naturally realized that something was wrong. Not daring to make any noise, she could only agree and start doing her job as a manager's secretary.

After hanging up the phone, the manager managed to regain his composure and said to the agents and soldiers, "Gentlemen, rest assured. Within half an hour, you will be able to see the employees who appeared at the airport that day."

Hank nodded and said, "Thank you for your cooperation."

After saying that, he sat on the sofa in the airport manager's office, quietly waiting for the arrival of the airport staff.

The agents stood there expressionlessly, accompanied by several military officers and armed soldiers. The airport manager was under great pressure and kept complaining in his heart why this incident happened in his airport instead of some other mysterious airport.

There are countless airports in Sydney, and their airport is just the tip of the iceberg. This probability makes him feel like crying.

This half hour was destined to be an ordeal. The airport manager felt very uncomfortable and seemed a little restrained in this small manager's office, as if this was not his own office but the office of the black commander in front of him.

Aura is something that is hard to describe. Nick, who has experienced the FBI, naturally has a much higher aura than the airport manager. This kind of aura also makes the manager sweat profusely and increases his pressure.

This half hour seemed long to the manager, but to the FBI agents who flew all the way from the United States, it was as short as it could be.

Half an hour passed quickly, and the sound of high heels rang out in the corridor. A heavily made-up blonde woman walked in with her plump body, but she was stunned by the scene as soon as she came in.

She pushed the door open and seemed to be about to have a passionate kiss with the manager, but she was startled by the fully armed soldiers at the door, and the agents in suits and ties made her dare not speak.

The manager didn't notice his lover's embarrassment. Instead, he frowned and asked, "Where are the people? Why did you come alone?"

"Huh? Oh oh oh."

At this time, the blonde woman finally reacted and said, "I asked the personnel, and the people on duty in the lobby the day before yesterday all took leave. In the past few days, many security guards have also disappeared."

"Did all the staff working indoors the day before yesterday take leave?"

Nick immediately stood up from the sofa when he heard that, looked at the blonde woman, and shouted, "Give me their home address!"

The blonde woman spoke subconsciously, "We have no right to disclose employee privacy unless there is an official order."

Before Nick could even speak, the officer standing next to him showed his ID and said in Australian English, "This is a secret operation by the government, so keep it simple."

After saying that, Nick took the documents from the blonde woman and began to check them one by one.
