Bi Qiaoan pouted, "If it weren't snowing outside, wouldn't you be planning to come back?"
Shen Yanming fell silent, a rare occurrence. Just when Bi Qiaoan thought she wouldn't get an answer, he spoke up: "I saw many injured guards today. Some of them only had minor injuries; after being dug out, they went straight back to work without rest. Others were seriously injured, with fractures, suffocation, unconsciousness, and massive bleeding."
At that moment, I realized how fragile life truly is.
Joan, I'm a very selfish person. I keep my secrets to myself and don't want to share them. But when I saw those guards injured, it really broke my heart. It was a feeling of powerlessness of human beings in the face of natural disasters.
