Chapter 1303 You might as well just lift me onto the throne!



"I'm so surprised...fuck!"

Kuro swallowed back his curse, veins bulging on his forehead. "What the hell do you want?! It's one thing to cause trouble for your neighboring countries, but why me?! I don't want to be a marshal! Why make me a marshal...!"

Enraged, he pointed upwards, landing squarely on the throne at the very top of the steps, protected by countless swords. "Why don't you just carry me up there!"

His current location happens to be the symbol of the World Government, the Void Throne Hall, where countless swords represent countless member states, and the throne is empty.

"Perfect timing! That thing doesn't look like anyone sits on it. You guys are so capable, let me sit on it! What is that thing?!"

Kuro bared his teeth and cursed at the two men, then ignored them, shoving aside Lowe and walking outside.

"What's up with this guy?"

Lowe frowned, staring at Kuro as he walked away. "Being a marshal isn't bad; isn't this bringing you one step closer to your goal?"

That's just one step closer, not a complete leap...

David stared thoughtfully at the empty throne and said, "Did you hear what the master said? He said that this position... appears to be empty."

These words startled Lowe, who subconsciously looked over as well. Realizing something, cold sweat beaded on his forehead. "Hey, this is no joke. If someone sits in this seat, it's a very scary thing."

"That's not the point. The theory we've learned tells us never to oversimplify things. Whether there's someone in this position or not is unimportant. Our plan is still ongoing. The most important thing is..."

David said in a deep voice, "Sir, I'm getting very impatient."
