"Let's go take a look, after all, it's a famous scene."
Kuro picked up his saber, straightened his clothes, and went out with a cigar in his mouth.
"Kuro, let's go eat!"
As soon as they stepped outside, Lida ran up to them, her eyes shining.
"Go away, you unlucky kid!"
Kuro ruffled Lida's white fur and glared at her. "Where's Kuro?"
Lida stuck her tongue out at Kuro, tidied her hair, and said without any self-awareness, "I don't know who upset him again. He put out the snacks and then said he needed to calm down and disappeared. If you're not going to eat them, I'll go eat them myself. It's on me."
"Don't you even know whose money you used to treat us to this?!"
Kuro rolled his eyes.
She recently captured two small-time pirates with bounties, and Smoker gave her all the rewards, so she has some money in her pocket.
In addition to the captured Krieg and Arkin, the headquarters took 30% of the money and distributed it to Cass and the others. Kuro still had 10 million Berries left. He kept some of it and gave most of it to Lida.
She's very confident now. She eats and drinks every day in Rogge Town. Every restaurant owner knows her and they all smile when they see her.
"Save some money and go eat by yourself."
Kuro messed up her newly styled hair again and ran away.
"Kuro, one day I'll drain you dry!!!"
Lida's furious voice came from behind.
...
"Miss Lida, you've arrived. Please take a seat."
Inside a restaurant, the owner immediately fawned over Lida and led her to a seat.
Soon, the table was filled with delicious food.
"It's Miss Lida."
"Miss? Is she a noblewoman?"
"No, it seems to be the Navy. That's what they call her within the Navy. She's a big eater, and many chefs want to make her eat her fill to prove themselves, but so far no chef has managed to do it alone."
"Ah... how does someone with such a petite body manage that?"
The guests whispered among themselves.
During her time in Loguetown, Lida became well-known to many people because of her large appetite and extravagant spending.
"Oh dear, meat, meat."
Two people burst in through the door. The one wearing a straw hat covered his forehead with his hand and looked him up and down like a monkey. Then, his eyes lit up and he started drooling.
Wow, so much meat!
The spot he was looking at was right next to Lida's table, where the food was the most plentiful.
"Um?"
Lida, who was chewing heartily, suddenly jolted, instinctively protecting her plate, and then looked on in surprise.
Lida hadn't seen Luffy's wanted poster and didn't know he had a bounty of 30 million, but she was impressed by Luffy because he had unconsciously used Haki when he fought Krieg.
"Boss, give me a whole table of the same thing as hers!"
Luffy wiped his drool and pointed at Lida's table, shouting loudly.
"Okay, please wait a moment!"
The boss was calling out.
Luffy and Zoro sat at a table near Rita, and Luffy stared at Rita's table with drool in his eyes.
"What are you doing? Stop drooling!"
Zoro punched Luffy on the head.
"Well, because it looks delicious, I feel really hungry."
Lida's eating movements were so delicious that Luffy, who was only slightly hungry, had his appetite completely stimulated by watching her eat.
As the food was served, Luffy began to wolf it down.
"Um?"
Lida looked up and watched Luffy eat.
This straw-hatted boy actually ate at a speed that was just as fast as hers.
Impossible! She's number one when it comes to eating speed!
Lida quickened her pace of eating.
Luffy seemed to notice as well, glancing at Lida before speeding up his eating.
For a moment, the only sounds in the restaurant were the two eating and the stacking of plates.
"Another table, please!"
The sounds were emitted simultaneously.
“Two tables!” Lida glanced at him and said.
"Three tables!" Luffy shouted.
"Then I'll take four tables!"
"I want five tables!"
Give me ten tables!
"Twenty tables!"
Luffy slammed his fist on the table and shouted loudly.
Lida and Luffy looked at each other, and there seemed to be a spark between their eyes.
One glance was enough to tell that the other person was also a foodie; this was a clash between foodies.
We can't lose!
"Twenty tables, serve the food," Lida said irritably.
"Okay!"
The happiest person was the boss.
"What are you doing? We're leaving soon. Do you even have money to eat this much?"
Zoro sighed and rubbed his forehead in exasperation.
"money?"
Luffy tilted his head: "Don't you have any money?"
"How could I possibly have money!" Zoro's veins bulged.
"That's true, hahaha."
Luffy scratched his head and laughed, then held out his hand to Lida, "Sorry, let's not have a match, I don't have any money."
Lida's forehead veins bulged as she angrily retorted, "If you have no money, why are you smiling so happily?!"
This is such a waste of her feelings. I thought there would be a foodie competition.
"Ah... if I don't have any money, will the boss forgive me?"
Luffy said to Zoro with a grin.
"Don't ignore me!"
Lida roared again, glaring fiercely at Luffy.
On the other side, two people wearing hooded capes were eating, one of whom kept tapping on the table.
"Damn it, damn it! That straw hat kid is absolutely despicable!"
The money bag was sent flying by his punch, landing right on Luffy's straw hat.
"Oh? Are you going to treat me? You're too kind."
