"I initially thought you were just a girl with something wrong with her head..."
Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke and said, "It doesn't seem so now. Can you explain to me what happens at night, and your identity as a sixth-level prisoner?"
"How is that possible..."
Absolun asked incredulously, "How could you break through my illusion so quickly?"
"Ah... I knew it."
Kuro narrowed his eyes. "Is it an ability?"
"Hehehe, even your gloomy man's abilities can be quickly cracked one day."
Sipatia laughed and said to Kuro, "Young man, if you hadn't come looking for me, you would have been able to participate tonight. It's a pity you won't be able to see what happens tonight."
"Enough with the nonsense, Sipatia."
Absolen narrowed his eyes. "Kill him."
"Looks like you're not going to obediently come back with me, so..."
Kuro took a bite of his cigar and suddenly vanished.
call...
Sipatia's hair was blown aside, and then she heard the sound of a sharp weapon piercing flesh behind her.
laugh!
Sipatia opened her eyes slightly and subconsciously looked back. She saw the navy man holding a black sword, who had slashed down Absolon with a single blow. The blade cut from Absolon's shoulder to his lower back, almost splitting him in two.
Blood splattered, and Absolun fell into a pool of blood, his face filled with terror.
"Do you think I'm stupid? You think I'd give you that ability?"
Kuro flicked the blood off Shusui's face, smiled disdainfully, and then turned to look at Sipatia, whose face was covered in sweat. "Now can you explain yourself to me?"
Sipatia tensed up like a cat, her face still bearing a playful smile: "You're quite a formidable person, but catching me won't be so easy."
"Ah...you don't seem to be a pirate, so it's troublesome to fight you."
Smoke swirled around Sipatia's face from behind, and a hand pressed against the back of her neck.
When Kuro appeared before her, he said calmly, "So you'd better come with me."
He tightened his grip, preparing to knock the woman unconscious, but at that moment, a slight smile appeared on Cipatia's face.
"Hehehe, why don't you take another look? It wouldn't be good if you grabbed the wrong one."
As soon as she finished speaking, Kuro squeezed her hand, and Sipatia collapsed.
He shook his head, preparing to take the woman back, but as soon as he touched her, he suddenly felt that the texture was a bit off; the touch didn't feel real.
This made him realize that when he tried to grab the woman earlier, her touch didn't feel quite right.
Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.
Kuro narrowed his eyes, and the [Sakura Ten] and [Wood Dry] swords hanging at his waist were instantly unsheathed and flew behind him.
when!
Even though there was nothing there, the Sword God still vibrated.
Kuro's pupils were now a deeper, more intense red.
Concentration on the perception of color!
The scene before them suddenly rippled outwards like waves, and the fallen woman and Absolun, who lay in the depths of the alley, vanished without a trace in the ripples.
There are no people left, no trace of blood left.
Instead, outside the crossed short swords, Sipatia held a dagger against a short broadsword, and beside her, Absolun appeared out of nowhere, without a trace of injury.
When Sipatia saw Kuro looking over, she sheathed her dagger and jumped back two steps.
"Hehehe, you reacted quickly. Looks like you're not so easy to deal with."
"No wonder it felt awkward when I was attacking you earlier. Turns out I was hitting thin air. That ability can block my Haki?"
Kuro stared at Absolun, feeling somewhat incredulous. He had been using Observation Haki the whole time, yet he still fell victim to it.
This time he was not careless, but his domineering aura, which allowed him to foresee danger and sense others, was actually only detected when he was about to be backstabbed.
Absolon smiled slightly: "Observation Haki is essentially the sharpness of the senses, and I am a 'mistaken person' who ate the 'mistaken fruit,' which allows me to create illusions in a person."
"I can create illusions in him through sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. So, when exactly did you create an illusion in me?
"The prisoners on the sixth floor are really something else..." Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke.
"Have the young people of today forgotten my illustrious name? It's a pity you didn't have the chance to ask your predecessors, otherwise you would have heard my legend, the legend of Lord [Phantom Demon] Absolon. I have fought against your Warring States generals." Absolon said calmly.
When the Warring States period was mentioned, a hint of ferocity appeared on his stiff face.
"In time, the sea will once again raise my name in glory. I will not let that man from the Warring States period get away with it!"
A hint of ferocity crept onto Absolun's stiff, expressionless face.
"To correct you, it should be 'Marshal of the Warring States Period'."
Kuro reached out and pressed his hand against the wall in the alley. "Looks like another old codger. If you've escaped, why don't you just go back to your old ways? Why do you have to come out and cause trouble? Didn't your parents teach you that it's impolite to cause trouble for others?"
"Kid, all you can do now is talk."
A sneer appeared on Absolun's lips. "How long can your Observation Haki keep up with me? Soon, you won't even know where I am."
Kuro grinned maliciously: "Stop pretending. Fighting the Sengoku Fleet Admiral? Don't make it sound so high and mighty. If I'm not mistaken, that old man perfectly counters you. Controlling people's five senses is completely useless against his Buddha Spirit."
