Ain stared in shock at the scene; she couldn't comprehend it.
Zephyr remained silent for a moment, then turned to look behind him. He saw Kuro just taking his hand off the ground and standing there, looking at Zephyr.
Zephyr shook his head. "Don't be too radical, Kuro brat."
"What does this have to do with me? It's just that God couldn't stand it." Kuro completely denied it.
Zefa ignored him and continued on his way.
Behind the mountain lies a valley containing a charred village. The ruins, the charred corpses with outstretched hands, and the scattered footsteps all testify to the utter despair of the people who once lived there.
Kro walked over, picked up a patch of dry but still slightly blackened soil from the ground, and smelled it.
“Mr. Kuro, the blood hasn’t been spilled for long… This place has just been destroyed.”
"You don't need to smell it."
Kuro looked up at a spot and whispered, "I can see it."
On the hillside, a group of figures appeared.
Zefa's pupils contracted when he saw that group of people.
Leading the group was a burly, blond man with his arms crossed, looking down at the scene below. He stared at Zephyr and slowly said, "That barrage from the mountain peak was actually dealt with. As expected of you, Zephyr, no, Teacher Zephyr..."
"Hernando!"
Zephyr roared, "Do you know what you're doing?! You've betrayed your honor and embarked on a path of sin! Have you gone mad?!"
"Teacher..."
The blond man named Hernando closed his eyes, then opened them again, sighed, and said, "That's just how the world is. Haven't you realized it yet?"
"Oh, we really do know each other..."
Lida said something in surprise.
Zephyr's teeth were clenched so tightly they were about to break, his eyes filled with disbelief. "You said you were going to find your own path, and this is your path? You abandoned your position as a vice admiral to become a disgraceful pirate?!"
navy?
Lieutenant General?!
Lida's eyes widened. This person used to be a lieutenant general?
"My path remains unchanged."
A complex emotion flickered in Hernando's eyes. He took a deep breath, a sinister smile spreading across his face, and opened his arms. "Teacher, are you satisfied with my masterpiece?"
"Hernando!"
Zefa roared, raised its mechanical arm, and fired bullets.
Just as a pirate next to him was about to take a step, the blond man waved his hand, took a step forward, and instantly his whole body turned pitch black, revealing a glimmer in the sunlight.
The bullets struck him, sending sparks flying.
Full-body Armament Haki!
"Teacher, you've gotten weaker..."
Hernando sighed, a hint of sadness in his voice, "Because of your kindness, you've grown old and weak. If you had given up on those scoundrels back then, that pirate would never have let you lose an arm."
He looked at Ian and Binz, "Trash, you should just die!"
Whoosh!
In an instant, he vanished and then reappeared in front of Binz, throwing a punch straight at Binz.
"Hernando, stop!" Zefa's eyes widened, and he was about to throw a punch.
Hernando, however, was completely unafraid and seemed to want to trade blows to eliminate the navy in front of him.
With Zefa's strength, dealing with Hernando wouldn't be a problem, but if that were the case, Binz would definitely die!
"How can it be repaired!"
Zefa roared, turned around, shoved Binz aside, and placed himself under the man's fist.
"Teacher, this is... your weakness."
Hernando murmured softly, and a black aura suddenly surged from his fist, sweeping out with domineering power and mercilessly blasting towards Zefa.
