Chapter 7 The Monca Riot

The original plan to patrol the sea for a period of time was ruined because of Lida's presence.

Disheartened, Kuro gave the order to return to Branch 153.

"When are we going back? I'm so hungry..."

Lida slumped in Kuro's office, speaking weakly.

"Shut up! If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have had to go back so early!" Kuro roared.

"You said you'd let me eat my fill," Lida said, adopting a pitiful expression.

"Adults should act like adults, stop trying to be cute."

Kuro lit a cigarette, ignoring Lida's expression, "I'll be back soon, and then I'll let you eat your fill, eat until you die."

"If I could have a good, satisfying meal, I'd be willing to die," Lida said contentedly.

Kuro said irritably, "Shut up, you glutton. Stop talking such discouraging things. When we get back to the branch, you'd better stay put and not eat any of the animals on the island."

"Just let me eat my fill."

Lida suddenly realized something and said, "You're a Marine from Branch 153, one of Morgan's subordinates?"

"You know him?"

"I've heard of him; he's a very powerful navy man, and extremely ruthless."

Kuro exhaled a puff of smoke. He didn't care about it. He didn't have much contact with Morgan. He had always been aligned with Lieutenant Colonel Lipa and was a low-key person who didn't flaunt his connections with Morgan, so they had been at peace.

Moreover, he was a veteran naval officer, and the naval officers in the branch treated him very politely, so there was no trouble.

Moreover, by the time he returns, Monka will likely be bankrupt.

After two days of sailing, the warship arrived at the 153rd branch and docked at the port of Shells.

"Lieutenant Colonel Lipa, warship, Sergeant Kuro has returned."

Right at the port, a group of sailors, accompanied by a short, pink-haired man, saluted across the sea. One of the sailors, upon seeing the warship, said...

On a small wooden boat, two people prepared food and got ready to set sail.

One was wearing a straw hat, and the other had three knives hanging from his waist.

Warships and small boats passed each other by.

Kuro, on the deck, stared at the straw hat with a silly grin on its face and narrowed his eyes.

The first time in my life I've seen...

"What's wrong? Do you know each other?"

Lida was eating an apple when she noticed Kuro's strange expression and couldn't help but look at the person opposite her.

It seems quite ordinary.

"Ah... I guess you could say we don't know each other."

Kuro withdrew his gaze, smiled, and said, "But I feel that one day those two will become very famous."

However, it has nothing to do with me. Since this troublemaker started from here, then Branch 153 will not cause any more trouble.

"Lieutenant Colonel Lipa".

After disembarking, Kuro saw Ripa and greeted her.

He was the lieutenant colonel in charge of the 153rd branch. After Munka's downfall, he took over the 153rd branch.

"Sergeant Kuro, you're back just in time. There's something I need to tell you," Ripa said solemnly.

What could possibly happen? It's just that Monca fell.

Just as Li Pa was about to speak, he heard a 'bang', an explosion coming from the branch base in the distance.

Soon, a navy man came running over, panting.

"Lieutenant Colonel Lipa, Monka... Monka has rioted!"

"What?!"

Li Pa's face turned ashen. "How could he riot? Weren't you supposed to be keeping a close eye on him?!"

"I'm sorry, Lieutenant Colonel!"

"hateful!"

Lipa roared, "Then hurry up and gather people to suppress Monka! For the sake of the town's residents, we must not let him leave the branch!"

"yes!"

“Kuro, that’s how it is. Monka was defeated by those two kids who were on the boat earlier, but... why did they riot!” Ripa gritted his teeth and said, “Kuro, your men come with me to suppress Monka’s riot. We can’t let him out.”

Monca riots?

I don't recall this happening.

"I see."

Kuro nodded. "Cass."

"yes!"

Cass gathered the navy and ran to the branch with his gun.

Regardless of whether this incident occurred or not, Morgan was eventually arrested. He wasn't a Devil Fruit user, nor did he possess Haki, so he couldn't possibly withstand swords and spears.

In the branch square, a group of people surrounded a tall, burly man.

It has to be said that the people in this world are all ridiculously tall, like Colmo before and Monca now.

Monca is at least three meters tall.

However, his height was only average a long time ago.

When you train your body to a certain level, you really will grow taller, perhaps because there is plenty of oxygen in this world.

Monca was holding a navy man hostage, with a large axe attached to his arm stuck under the man's neck, making the man break out in a cold sweat.

"Get out of my way, or I'll kill him!" Monka roared.

"That's Monka?"

Lida, who had just arrived, looked at Monka with surprise. "He really is tall."

However, she didn't take it to heart; in her eyes, such a branch colonel was too weak.

The people of the East Sea have never seen anything strong, except for this monster next to them.

The group of sailors dared not fire, and the stalemate continued.

"Lieutenant Colonel Lipa, what should we do now?"

With Lipa's arrival, the navy seemed to have found a pillar of support, and one of the navy men asked a question.

Lipa looked at Monka with a gloomy expression.

They've actually taken hostages; this is really troublesome.

"Monka, you've already lost. Surrender! Can't a man even accept this defeat?"

"Enough with the nonsense, Lipa, I am the commander of this branch!"
