We've won!
A look of joy flashed in William's eyes; he was about to hit the target!
Whether it was the bullets or the steam giant, they were all just illusions designed to attract the enemy's attention. His real killing move was his own sword strike.
Finally, finally I can face this guy who has haunted me since I was a child!
"Yellow Dragon!"
Just then, a golden light appeared in front of the sword. The black knife, carrying a golden glow, instantly struck his rapier, flicked the rapier upwards, and the two weapons collided.
BOOM!!!
A massive shockwave rippled outwards, directly scattering the steam giant behind William.
William's body turned into steam under the shockwave, quickly dissipating backward before coalescing again.
"Is it blocked?" he said with a gloomy face.
In front of him, Kuro held up Shusui, his expression not looking good.
"The sheer power is overwhelming, even to the point of internal destruction..."
Kuro grinned and said, "That's really something. If you're even a little slower, you'll really fall for it."
The power of his sword strike actually forced him to unleash the instantaneous Yellow Dragon, and it was a Yellow Dragon imbued with a domineering aura!
It was incredibly powerful, incredibly fast, and the sword strike was also quite strong. With the added force of the steam, if it were to actually pierce the target, it wouldn't just be a simple destruction; the victim's body would likely be shredded and burned, turning into a mushy mess.
This is a powerful individual who can combine domineering aura with incredible ability!
"That's interesting..."
Kuro's eyes flashed with murderous intent, accompanied by a surge of killing aura that was released directly at William.
Sizzle...
With a flick of his wrist, golden lightning flashed across the black blade.
"Yes, that's it!"
William roared, his body bursting with steam once more, obscuring his vision.
"Fight me, Kuro! I will break the curse in your heart, and take one more blow from me..."
Kuro narrowed his eyes, held the Autumn Water horizontally, and placed two fingers on the blade.
“Nigeru da yo!” William’s voice rang out.
Kuro was taken aback, and subconsciously waved away the steam in front of him; there was no one there anymore.
In the distance, steam erupted behind William, propelling him at great speed downwards.
From what I sensed, all other presences besides William's were already fading away.
"Hey, Kuro, they've gotten away."
Standing on the floating platform, Lida pointed to the ships moving in the sea below and said, "They're moving very fast, and they're emitting steam."
Kuro watched William fall, twitched his fingers, then released them, and the aura of unification on the blade dissipated.
He smiled wryly: "My fellow townsman is quite interesting..."
Kuro wasn't there to kill anyone. As long as William's methods didn't cross his bottom line, he was essentially an 'invisible' pirate, provided you didn't cause him any trouble.
Don't be like that straw hat; you don't bother them, but they keep swarming around you like flies.
This William didn't seem to be the type to cause him trouble; in fact, he seemed somewhat afraid of him causing trouble...
He's very cautious, but he's not happy with this kind of caution.
"I'll take this opportunity to force you out of the East Blue!" Kuro said through gritted teeth.
