Chapter 13 Midnight End

Qi Mi and Du Rui have a clear division of labor. She is responsible for the front and Du Rui is responsible for the back. When they encounter a situation, they cough twice as a signal.

As soon as the children went out, they couldn't stand the stinky smell. Their two little hands were tied and they had no space, so they could only pout their mouths and block their noses.

The corridor was terribly dark, and they didn't dare to let go of their little hands and just followed obediently.

"Teacher Qi, have the children in Yaya's class gone home?" Yu Jiaojiao suddenly asked.

Qi Fan was stunned.

She had been thinking so much about bugs and monsters that she hadn't thought about how to explain this dead environment to the children.

Not only the children in Yaya's class, but also in several larger classes upstairs are not there.

If you answer that they are going home, the children will definitely go home crying the next second.

If the answer is no, then how do you explain why so many children are not in kindergarten?

For a moment, Qi Mi couldn't think of what to say, so he had to hold the child's hand and walk forward in silence.

But children are not so easily fooled. Yu Jiaojiao asked Qi Mi, but he didn't answer. Zhao Yize asked again: "Didn't they say that our parents went to save the sun? Then why are the children in the Yaya class not in the kindergarten?"

Qi Fan: "..."

Based on her understanding of these little guys, if you don’t answer, you will definitely cry and make a fuss.

She was scratching her head and thinking, when suddenly a huge spider with a colorful body hung upside down in front of her.

In a flash, she raised her hand and swung it, with a knife hidden in it, and stabbed the flower spider aside.

The entire movement, from lifting to lowering, was so fast that only a shadow remained.

The children hadn't reacted yet. They just saw Qi Mi waving her hands to clear away the dust and waiting for her to answer the question with her big eyes blinking.

At this time, Du Rui interrupted and said, "I'll go to the bathroom first and tell you when I get back." Then he pulled the four boys into the bathroom first.

"Yes, let's go to the bathroom first. Teacher Qi will tell you later." Qi Mi smiled, put the knife back into the sheath in his sleeve, and took the four girls into the bathroom.

The hallway was filled with Zhao Yize's constant questions, which could be heard even from the girls' restroom: "The teacher is really going to tell us, right? He won't lie to us, right?"

Du Rui: “Yeah.”

Zhao Yize hummed and wanted to ask something, but was interrupted by Du Rui: "Come here and take off your pants."

"oh."

Qi Mi stood at the door, frowning, thinking about how to explain to these little guys. There must be no logical problems, otherwise the clever Zhao Yize would definitely find the bug... This is much more troublesome than dealing with monsters.

She was brainstorming when she heard Yu Jiaojiao let out a puzzled "Huh?"

Suddenly, Qi Mi's mind rang with alarm, fearing that these little guys had seen something, and hurriedly asked, "What's wrong?"

"Teacher, there is a big bug!" Yu Jiaojiao widened her eyes and pointed to the corner of the toilet.

Qi Mi leaned over to take a look and saw that there were indeed two large white worms entangled together.

She sighed softly, and before she could pull Yu Jiaojiao out, the other three girls pulled up their pants and came over. The next second, they exclaimed in unison: "Wow, it's really big!"

While sighing at how brave these cubs were, Qi Mi quickly pulled them out one by one and straightened their crooked pants: "Let's go, let's go back."

Yu Jiaojiao looked up and blinked: "Teacher, can I take one back?"

Qi Fan: “?” Isn’t it disgusting?

Before she could open her mouth to refuse, she heard Yu Jiaojiao add, "I want to take it back to show my mother."

Qi fans: “…” She is truly my dear daughter.

After Qi Mi clearly refused three times, Yu Jiaojiao gave up and puffed up her face as she returned to Douding Class. As soon as the door opened, she rushed to Zheng Yuanyuan and said, "Mom, I just saw a big white bug in the bathroom!"

Zheng Yuanyuan's expression suddenly changed.

Yu Jiaojiao was completely unaware of her mother's fear. She hugged her mother's legs and raised her head aggrievedly: "I said I wanted to bring one back to show my mother, but Teacher Qi didn't agree." She shouted deliberately and loudly as if she was complaining.

Qi Mi shrugged helplessly.

Zheng Yuanyuan glanced at Qi Mi with gratitude, then quickly squatted down to explain to Yu Jiaojiao, "Jiaojiao, Mommy told you that I'm most afraid of bugs. From now on, no matter what kind of bugs you see, you don't need to tell Mommy, let alone show her, okay?"

Yu Jiaojiao seemed to understand, and tilted her head: "What's so scary about bugs?"

“It’s just terrifying!”

Before the two of them finished their conversation, Wang Xiaohu, who loved to join in the fun, suddenly raised his head and shouted, "What? There's a bug! Then I have to go check it out!"

Du Rui quickly held him down: "There's nothing to see."

"But they are all out, and I haven't been out yet!" Wang Xiaohu felt very aggrieved.

Du Rui deliberately put on a stern face: "Next time."

Wang Xiaohu's eyes rolled around: "Then I'm going to the bathroom now."

Du Rui raised his head and pointed to the back of the classroom: "Go there."

Wang Xiaohu: “…”

After holding it in for about two seconds, he pounded the quilt beneath him heavily, hummed loudly in his smoky throat, and pouted his lips.

After finishing eating the chicken leg, my mouth was full of oil.

Qi Mi pulled Du Rui twice, indicating that this was her place, and took two pieces of paper and sat down next to Wang Xiaohu. Wang Xiaohu snorted again and moved aside.

Qi Michou shamelessly leaned over and said, "Are you angry? Wipe the oil off your mouth first before getting angry, okay?"

When Wang Xiaohu heard this, he wiped his mouth and shouted, "I want to go home!"

Qi Fan: "Didn't I tell you that the parents went to save the sun, and there's no one home when you go back."

Wang Xiaohu: "Then I want to go home too!"

Qi Fan: "Really? Then you won't participate in the mission that Ultraman the hero gave to the Douding class?"

"I'm not participating!" Wang Xiaohu replied with great determination. After two seconds of reaction, he suddenly felt something was wrong and turned to look at Qi Fan. "Ultraman?"

Qi Fan grabbed his chin and wiped his greasy mouth with a piece of paper: "Yes, we all stay here for a mission. Teacher Qi has not told you this because he is testing you."

At this time, several children suddenly remembered the promise Qi Mi had made to them, and they all gathered around: "Teacher Qi, you just said that you would tell us where Yaya class went after we went to the bathroom. You can tell us now."

Qi Mi nodded, crumpled the paper into a ball and threw it into the trash can, then stood up and ceremoniously asked the children to line up.

She looked around and said in a serious tone, "Children, your mission has finally arrived. Do you want to be as brave as the children in Yaya's class and the older classes upstairs and complete it?"

"Yes!" the ten human cubs said in unison, each of them puffing out their little chests.

"Well, after the test I just gave you, you are indeed very brave. Teacher Qi can now confidently entrust this glorious yet arduous task to you." Qi Mi deliberately raised his voice and said, "Children of the Douding class, the heroic Ultraman and the Little Magic Fairies have assigned you a mission. You must be brave and strong to protect Chunya Kindergarten. Can you do it?"

"Yes!" the ten children shouted, and their voices were quite deafening.

Qi Fan: "During this period, you must stay in the Douding class and cannot leave this room without the teacher's order. Do you understand?!"

Ten cubs: "I know!"

Qi Fan: "If you hear any strange noises, it must be Teacher Qi testing you. All you have to do is be brave. Can you do it?"

"able--!!!"

"Well, that's great. I believe that when your parents come back, they will be happy for your growth." Qi Mi nodded with relief.

At this moment, Zhao Yizhe, whose blood was boiling with excitement, raised his hand high and said, "Teacher, did they leave any weapons for us?"

"Yes, did the little fairy leave us a magic wand?"

"Where's Ultraman's clothes?"

The kids started talking again.

Qi Mi could only think of a way to delay: "Your magic wands and Ultraman clothes are still on the way. They will be here in three days, at the latest. During this period, you must be obedient, otherwise these things will be gone, do you understand?"

"Ah? Another three days..." Zhao Yize lowered his hands in disappointment.

Qi Fan: "Everyone, be good. Do you hear me?"

Children: “I heard it!”

After sending the children off to play, Qi Mi secretly breathed a sigh of relief. She looked down and saw that Du Rui's nephew, Wu Muchen, hadn't left yet. His hands were tucked into the pockets of his newly-changed black down jacket, staring at her expressionlessly.

Qi Mi slowly squatted down and smiled: "What's wrong, classmate Wu Muchen?"

Wu Muchen looked at her straight in the eyes, was silent for two seconds, suddenly sighed, and patted Qi Mi on the shoulder: "Thank you for your hard work, Teacher Qi. This class of children is really difficult to teach." His words and deeds sounded like a mature little adult.

Qi Fan felt funny: "What?"

Wu Muchen didn't answer, but stretched out his other hand, hugged her gently, and whispered in his ear: "Thank you for your hard work on patrol, Teacher Qi, welcome back."

Qi Mi was stunned for a moment.

After just a few seconds of hugging, Wu Muchen straightened up and smiled sweetly at Qi Mi. His eyes sparkled like a docile and adorable little deer.

This kid has always been like this, usually quiet, but very attentive and warm-hearted.

Qi Mi touched Wu Muchen's head, his eyes becoming even gentler: "Thank you."

Wu Muchen nodded, and quickly restrained his expression. He stood silently on the edge of the group of children with his hands in his pockets, acting as an indifferent bystander.

Du Rui, who was standing by, was shocked by the child's behavior and hurried over to ask what was going on.

After all, he knew his nephew's temper. He always kept to himself. Although he was well-behaved in the class, he didn't like to express his emotions. He could only speak a few words to his uncle occasionally.

Just now, he suddenly took the initiative to hug Qi Mi, which shocked Du Rui so much that his glasses almost fell off.

Qi Mi slowly stood up, with a smile in his eyes:

"Teacher Du, I seem to see the light."
