The shadows of the trees stand still before the window, and the silence of the night amplifies our senses layer by layer.
Their intimate embrace, enveloped in a tender warmth, caused her dormant nerves to tremble and stand on end. A thin layer of dampness clung to the back of Lu Shizhen's hand, as well as to the fingertips that had been lifted by someone.
Lu Shizhen, warm and enthusiastic, greeted us; she was unfamiliar yet not so unfamiliar.
This feeling of being guided sent her blood rushing to her brain, making her breath quicken.
Xu Shiyue lowered her eyes and smiled faintly as she leaned close to Lu Shizhen's ear: "Didn't Teacher Sixteen study it carefully? Why do you know how to cut your nails, but can't find the place?"
Seemingly unwilling to admit her weakness in this regard, Lu Shizhen argued, "Well, that's a question for you, Teacher Xu."
"Doesn't Professor Xu know that theory needs to be combined with practice?"
As she spoke, Lu Shizhen propped herself up on her arms, creating a slight distance between herself and Xu Shiyue.
The moonlight cast her profile on the wall, where it seemed to almost touch the tip of another nose below. Although they appeared far apart, their face-to-face proximity made them seem even more intimate.
The cunning in Lu Shizhen's eyes was particularly evident in her smile.
She was arguing, shifting blame, and even bullying people a bit, but Xu Shiyue wasn't annoyed at all. Just like Lu Shizhen said, she slightly raised her head and kissed her lips, saying, "Then please, Sixteen, begin your practice."
Their deep red lips gently pressed together, still warm and sweet.
Those warm fingers gently caressed the back of her fingers, which were covered with a thin layer of sweat that didn't belong to her. Xu Shiyue's words were very calm, but they were like a struck match, instantly igniting Lu Shizhen's blood.
It's a bit out of control, yet it seems like they're trying to restrain themselves.
Lu Shizhen held Xu Shiyue's neck with one arm, her kiss on his lips lingering as if it were just a light touch. Although his breathing was already out of rhythm, he was still trying his best to remain calm.
Slowly, slowly, as that clear shadow sank down the wall, the tender kiss deepened.
Xu Shiyue watched as Lu Shizhen drew closer and closer to her, the cool silk dress softly clinging to her knees, followed by a touch of warmth.
It dispelled the cold from her body and also made the blood in her body gradually burn and boil.
As Xu Shiyue was kissed by Lu Shizhen, she became immersed in the moment, and the hand that Lu Shizhen had instructed her to easily break free from its restraints.
A feeling of emptiness seemed to flash through Xu Shiyue's mind for a moment, before being dispelled by the surge of other senses.
Lu Shizhen continued kissing Xu Shiyue, who was still deeply engrossed in the kiss, her slender fingers silently and skillfully brushing aside the thick, long hair that clung to Xu Shiyue's neck.
A thin layer of sweat gathered in this dark spot, and a faint, scorching heat clung to Lu Shizhen's fingers.
"Lu..." Xu Shiyue subconsciously called out Lu Shizhen's name, but the sound got stuck in her throat before she could finish speaking.
A slight tremor came from Xu Shiyue's shoulder, and the kiss on Lu Shizhen's lips went awry.
Her eyes were somewhat vacant, and her slender arms unconsciously wrapped around Lu Shizhen's neck.
Like a taut bow.
Lu Shizhen, on the other hand, is like the arrow resting on the bowstring, a long arrow with a sharp point reflecting its tip, poised to be released.
Suddenly a gust of wind rose up, disturbing the seemingly peaceful night.
The spring breeze came fiercely, relentlessly piercing through the dense, new green treetops, drowning out most of the broken, faint sounds in the room.
The moonlight before my bed was shattered by the chaotic shadows of the trees, and was thus haphazardly entangled on the branches.
Xu Shiyue leaned tremblingly against the tenderness woven for her by Lu Shizhen, each kiss accompanied by the burning heat she exhaled from her throat.
More real than a dream.
Endless seawater surged towards her, and she was lifted up and down by Lu Shizhen, as if she wanted to embed herself into Lu Shizhen's body.
And finally, the arrow nocked on the bow was released.
Hit the bullseye.
"...!"
A silent sound emanated from her suddenly parted lips, her slender neck stretching straight into the distance.
Her long, jet-black hair was so thick and heavy that it cascaded down her outstretched neck like a waterfall, with a few strands clinging to her neck and shoulders, glistening with a thin layer of sweat in the moonlight.
Then Xu Shiyue's straight shoulders slumped, and her half-closed eyes filled with tears.
Lu Shizhen watched as Xu Shiyue leaned against her, truly like a pool of water, her eyes and nose tinged with crimson, her pale skin bathed in a lukewarm yet fragmented moonlight, each breath exuding an alluring charm.
"October." Lu Shizhen called Xu Shiyue's name softly, gently touching her nose with the tip of her nose, like a small animal confirming the other's identity.
It's just that the order seems to be reversed.
They all smell the same now, so how can you tell them apart?
Thinking this, Xu Shiyue raised her hand and gently pinched Lu Shizhen's cheek: "I've wanted to say this for a long time."
Her breathing was much more unsteady than Lu Shizhen's, and her sentence broke into two: "Lu Shizhen, you really are a bit like a dog..."
"dog?"
The two of them stopping did not reduce the heat in the room in the slightest, and Xu Shiyue's words sounded rather meaningful.
Lu Shizhen paused slightly, then pried open Xu Shiyue's lips and bit her on the lips as if to prove what she had just said.
Then, as if to make amends, he kissed her again.
A gentle, tender, and incredibly gentle touch.
—It really does resemble the behavior of dogs.
Xu Shiyue watched Lu Shizhen's behavior, cupped her face, and asked with a smile, "Lu Shizhen, are you really a dog?"
Lu Shizhen didn't discuss this with Xu Shiyue, as if she had suddenly switched channels: "Sixteen."
Xu Shiyue was taken aback for a moment, and then she heard Lu Shizhen say to her just like she had that afternoon, "I like this name, so I still want to hear you call me Sixteen from now on."
“Okay.” Xu Shiyue nodded, then clung to Lu Shizhen’s neck and called out to her, “Sixteen.”
Lu Shizhen smiled with satisfaction.
Then he raised his hand that was hanging down, leaned forward, and casually but deliberately pressed his fingers to Xu Shiyue's lips: "What did Teacher Xu call me for? Is it to comment on my practice?"
The fluorescent light overhead reflected a halo of light, brightly coating my fingers.
Xu Shiyue's lips were gently pressed down, revealing a crimson, decadent look.
“Yes.” Xu Shiyue nodded.
She accepted all of Lu Shizhen's wicked intentions and looked down at Lu Shizhen's fingers.
As he spoke, his teeth seemed to unintentionally brush against the fingertip as his mouth opened and closed. Then he said, "Sixteenth student, you are a promising student. A teacher should give a smart student a reward."
After saying that, Xu Shiyue hooked her arm down and pressed Lu Shizhen's head down.
A tender kiss descended, overflowing with affection, tracing the lips and stirring up wave after wave of ripples.
Whether it was because she had just finished a kiss, or simply because it was a reward from the other party, Lu Shizhen felt that Xu Shiyue's kiss was much more alluring than before, pulling at her emotions that had just calmed down.
Then, Xu Shiyue pulled her down.
Without any warning, Xu Shiyue used her arm to switch places with her.
The soft cushioned her landing, preventing her from getting hurt, but a cool breeze followed and brushed against her shoulders.
The pure white nightgown lay flat beneath her, except for the bow she had just tied, which was now securely fastened and stuck to her hip.
It was the only semblance of dignity amidst the chaos, yet it appeared exceptionally disheveled.
Or perhaps decadence.
"October……"
"Shhh."
Lu Shizhen was about to say something, but the words were cut off before she could speak.
Xu Shiyue gently placed her hand on her lips, signaling her not to speak, and then lightly kissed the tip of her nose, then her lips, and then her chin.
Finally, following her neck and collarbone, like a long sightseeing cable car, it descended all the way down the mountain.
Their moist lips rubbed against each other, and the trembling nerves made Lu Shizhen's head tilt back slightly, unable to stop herself from doing so.
Thick eyelashes formed veils that partially obscured the view of the person's lowered head.
The waves surged in, crashing against the untouched shore.
Then, like a ship sinking into the deep sea, it completely disappeared from her horizon.
Even though there was no wind outside the window, the moonlight seemed to be scattered and broken by the branches, falling into Lu Shizhen's vision.
At one point, her eyelashes trembled slightly as she tried to open her eyes from her reverie, only to see Xu Shiyue's lips so close to hers, kissing her again and again.
Xu Shiyue's slightly lowered eyelashes, lingering with a thousand charms, pulled her down.
Lu Shizhen listened to her pounding heartbeat, each beat robbing her of oxygen, and she was lost in a dreamlike state of deep immersion.
The wind that had been swirling outside the window finally gave up, and the night finally quieted down completely after midnight.
The full moon hung high outside the window, casting its bright light into the room. Lu Shizhen, surrounded by a delicate fragrance, lowered her eyes and gazed at Xu Shiyue, who had already fallen asleep.
Her calm breathing caused her long hair to fall loosely, and the marks that were being concealed were vaguely visible to Lu Shizhen.
She had never been this crazy in all these years, but since the other person was Xu Shiyue, she felt like she was losing control. She wanted to possess her, to embed her tightly into her body, and to take her everywhere she went.
That might be true. Lu Shizhen was tired after taking a shower, but now she doesn't feel sleepy.
But the night was really deep, and slowly, slowly, those half-closed eyes finally closed.
"Tick-tock, tick-tock..."
The sound of water droplets falling rang in Lu Shizhen's ears, and she squinted at the dream world before her.
A little girl was sitting in the pure white space, her long black hair cascading down to her waist, her white dress seemingly blending into the world.
Lu Shizhen was somewhat dazed. Subconsciously, she thought this was the little girl she had dreamed about in the past.
They finally met again.
She was determined to see what this little girl looked like this time.
With this in mind, Lu Shizhen quickened her pace.
The little girl seemed to hear Lu Shizhen's footsteps as well, and slowly turned around from her chair, complaining with an indescribable air of spoiled arrogance: "Thank goodness, she's finally asleep, but you're so slow! I've been waiting for you for ages."
Lu Shizhen immediately stopped in her tracks.
She knew that this person was not that little girl.
"Who are you?" Lu Shizhen looked at the little girl in front of her warily.
The little girl seemed a bit hurt by Lu Shizhen's question, her face slightly furrowed as she held her hands in her hands: "What? We just met this morning, don't you recognize me?"
"You're making me very sad, sister."
