Entering a haunted house

Entering a haunted house

Annie took one look and didn't dare to look again. She turned around and ran forward desperately. Li Pingan didn't know what Annie saw. He was just wondering why she was dragging herself to run just now, but now she could actually pull herself to run. He sighed that human potential is really endless.

In this situation, Annie had no time to describe the shock in her heart to Li Pingan. This group of people looked much more normal than the zombies outside. At first glance, they looked like normal people, but they all ran towards the two of them with the momentum of hungry wolves pouncing on their prey. Some of the zombies were not very coordinated, and after falling, they were stepped on by the zombies behind them. Dark and smelly blood flowed from all parts of their bodies. Then, they dragged their broken bodies and continued to join the chasing army.

The two had previously parked their motorcycle in front of the school gate. At this time, the young zombies in the school were stimulated by something. Some of them followed the adult zombies and chased the two, while some of them clung to the iron gate and roared at them. The iron gate creaked from being squeezed. The noise here alarmed all the zombies in the school, and zombies kept stumbling over from a distance.

It was not advisable to stay here for long, so Li Ping'an took the lead and got on the motorcycle and started it. Annie then pulled her clothes and sat on it. At this time, two zombies were running very fast behind them and had come nearby. Annie hit them with the plastic bag in her hand. It didn't hurt, but it blocked their sight. Taking this opportunity, Li Ping'an twisted her hand to the bottom and rushed out. Since she couldn't see the zombies, the two of them just brushed past the group of zombies, causing Annie to scream, and the sound drifted in the air.

The zombies with faster legs chased the two men relentlessly until they disappeared from their sight. Then they gradually stopped and wandered around aimlessly. However, one thin zombie was briefly confused, then suddenly walked slowly back towards the school.

The two men didn't dare to stop and rushed all the way out of the city. They slowed down only when they could no longer see the tall buildings. However, they didn't dare to stop. After all, it was night time and no one could guarantee that there were no zombies nearby. If a zombie sneaked over in the dark, they would be finished.

Li Ping'an was looking around for a suitable place to stay when he suddenly heard Annie's low cry. Li Ping'an's first reaction was that there were zombies nearby. When he was about to ask, he realized that her tone was wrong. He turned around and saw Annie staring at the sky in fascination.

"Ping An, I have never seen so many stars."

The evening breeze at the end of April felt slightly cool on her body, escaping the tense atmosphere just now. The sound of the motorcycle engine mixed with the chirping of insects in the distance made Annie relax unconsciously.

Li Pingan slowed down the motorcycle a little bit, and looked up like Annie. There were stars all over the place, and even the silvery Milky Way was faintly visible. After staring for a long time, he realized that some of the stars in the distance were also moving.

"Ping'an, is this considered a benefit brought by the zombie outbreak?" Annie lowered her head, with a teasing tone in her voice.

Without waiting for Li Ping'an to answer, Annie continued, "But how many people will not see the sun tomorrow?" There was a hint of sadness in her tone.

Li Pingan suddenly stopped the motorcycle, propped himself up with his left foot, turned around and grabbed Annie's head with his hands, "What are you thinking about?"

Then he pinched Annie's face with his hand and asked, "Are you scared just now?" After all, she was just a teenage girl.

When Annie heard what Li Ping'an said, she suddenly felt like crying and blinked quickly several times to prevent tears from falling.

Looking at Annie's red eyes, Li Ping'an was at a loss. Suddenly, Annie's sad face changed, and it twisted for a moment. She pointed to the vegetable field in front of the left and restrained her voice, "Ping'an, hurry up, there are zombies ahead." A black figure staggered towards the two of them.

They ran too fast just now and dropped all the weapons they had picked. Now they are unarmed, and when facing the zombies, they can only fight with their bare hands.

Li Pingan turned around, but before he could start the motorcycle, Annie's frightened voice came again, even though she was trying hard to restrain herself, "Hurry, hurry, there are several zombies following him."

These zombies obviously sensed the two's presence and were running towards them at a speed many times faster than the group of zombies in the school. Just as they were about to rush onto the road to block the two's way, they suddenly lost focus and disappeared.

Although she didn't know why, Annie still breathed a sigh of relief. As she rushed past the place where the zombies disappeared, Annie leaned over to take a look and happened to see several dark blue faces looking up at her. She shuddered with disgust and then leaned close to Li Ping'an's ear and shouted, "Ping'an, these zombies fell into the gutter, hahahahahahahaha"

Hearing Annie's arrogant voice, Li Ping'an couldn't help but look back. Although she couldn't see the zombies in the gutter, she found it funny to think about it.

After this incident, Annie's mood was obviously much better, and she hummed a song behind Li Pingan.

It was too dark, and Li Pingan was afraid of encountering hordes of zombies on the road. He warned, "If you see any zombies, tell me immediately."

Then, they drove out of the main road and turned into a small road. Li Ping'an had just seen a house here from a distance. It was some distance away from the surrounding houses. If there were no zombies inside, it would be quite suitable.

Compared to the main road, the small road had more potholes. Annie was bumpy and held Li Ping'an's clothes tightly while looking around.

Perhaps because the house was far away, few people walked on the path, so the two did not see a single zombie until they stopped in front of the cabin.

It was difficult to see clearly from a distance, but when Li Ping'an got closer, he began to understand why there were so few people near the house. The green tiles and red bricks looked strange. There were two stone lions in front of the door, a Bagua mirror hanging on the wall, and many things densely pasted on the door. They didn't look like door couplets, but more like talismans.

Annie's emotions had been up and down all night, and she was already very sleepy. She thought Li Ping'an was worried about whether there were zombies around, so she yawned and said, "Ping'an, there are no zombies outside. Should we go in? I'm so sleepy."

Li Pingan glanced at Annie, whose eyelids were fighting each other, and sighed secretly. It was already a certain time, and he was still believing in feudal superstitions. The zombies were dancing on his forehead, even though he couldn't see them.

At this time, Annie was holding Li Ping'an's left arm like a koala, nodding her head as if she was about to fall asleep. Li Ping'an was afraid that she would let go and fall to the ground, so he pulled out his left hand and hugged her, then opened the door with his right hand.

As soon as the door opened, Li Pingan fell silent. Was it too late for her to close the door now?

She didn't know whether there were zombies inside, but if there was nothing wrong with her eyes or brain, there seemed to be a person standing in the corner of the yard. Well, to be more precise, there seemed to be a floating woman in white clothes with her head drooping.

What a typical haunted scene. Li Ping'an suppressed the scream in his heart, tentatively tried to retract his left foot, held his breath, and tried not to disturb the person who was meditating in the corner.

After Li Ping'an withdrew his foot, the woman in white in the yard did not react. Li Ping'an breathed a sigh of relief and was about to close the door to give her some peace and quiet when Annie suddenly raised her head and walked in.

At this moment, Li Ping'an's heart was in her throat. She thought Annie was bewitched by a ghost, but Annie walked in and looked around, then turned to look at her and said, "Ping'an, why don't you come in? I've checked, there are no zombies inside."

"Annie, what didn't you see?" Li Ping'an asked in a low voice, swallowing the word "thing" back into his mouth at the end.

"No, although it's a bit gray, there are no zombies." After hearing Li Ping'an's question, Annie turned around again to make sure there were no zombies in the yard. She felt a little strange as to why Li Ping'an was so nervous.

As she said that, Annie came to pull Li Ping'an, "Ping'an, come in quickly, I'm so sleepy." She looked normal and there was no sign of anything wrong.

Li Ping'an looked at the woman in the corner again, and seeing that she didn't react, he simply used Annie's strength to walk into the yard, wanting to see the woman's reaction.

From the outside, this house looked no different from other houses except for the color. But after entering, it was discovered that the interior of this house was more of a Chinese-style building. The door pillars and porch were all made of red wood. Li Pingan knocked on the pillar and pretended to listen, but he couldn't tell whether it was really solid wood.

At one end of the yard was a peach tree with many small peaches on it, and at the other end stood a female ghost in white clothes. The peach tree and the female ghost complemented each other. Li Ping'an was joking in his heart, but at the same time he was thinking with tears in his eyes whether he could escape by hiding under the peach tree if the female ghost suddenly attacked.

Annie's head was a mess at this time. She just wanted to find a place to lie down and sleep. She groped around and saw a room that looked like a bedroom and was about to push the door in. Li Ping'an had been glancing at the woman in the corner from time to time since he came in. Now seeing Annie was about to open the door, he quickly held her hand, fearing that Annie was going to open her room. If he annoyed her, it would be all over.

Li Pingan thought that although I can't see the zombies, I may be able to kill them. This female ghost can be seen, but I may not be able to kill her.

"Annie, listen to me," Li Pingan lowered his voice again, not much louder than a mosquito, "This place is not clean, let's go."

"What does it matter whether it's clean or not? As long as there's a place to sleep, that's enough." Annie thought Li Ping'an was talking about the dust in the house. She was so sleepy now, so why would she care whether it was dirty or not.

Li Ping'an regretted that he should not have followed Annie's strength and come in. If he had pulled Annie out and left on his motorcycle, maybe they would have found their next place to live by now.

Speaking of motorcycles, Li Pingan suddenly pressed Annie's shoulders and raised his voice, "Annie, our motorcycles haven't been pushed in yet. What if they are stolen?" As he said that, he was about to pull Annie out.

Annie was completely confused at this moment. She felt that what Li Pingan said made a lot of sense, so she obediently followed him out.

Annie's head was still confused until Li Ping'an started the motorcycle and put her hands around her waist.

The cold air fan on her face finally woke Annie up. She quickly asked, "Ping An, didn't you come out to push the motorcycle in? Why did you leave?"
