Chapter 71 Don't worry about me
Lin Yao choked.
I don't know if it was because of his casual "baby" or because I seduced him first.
Is it really that strong? He couldn't smell it, he just felt enveloped by agave, and because the pressure was so intense, he instinctively wanted to resist.
"You... because I couldn't control myself?" Lin Yao lowered his head, pulled open his collar, and tried to smell his own pheromones.
Xie Xingchen observed his actions and raised an eyebrow slightly: "We are 100% compatible. You can't even suppress your pheromones, so why do you think I won't be affected?"
Now it was Lin Yao's turn to be speechless.
Xie Xingchen was already ill and injured. He was misunderstood and fell to the ground, yet he remained calm. He knew what it meant to make someone feel guilty with just one sentence.
"Never mind, forget I said anything," Lin Yao said in a low voice.
He's not the clueless, straightforward guy he was at the beginning, nor is he the kind of person who could get by with just a few kisses and help each other. With two people who both have illnesses and are highly compatible, what will happen in this desolate place is self-evident.
But this frightened him; he was still not ready to become anyone's Omega.
"Are you scared?" Xie Xingchen saw right through him. "Afraid that I'll become a beast and have sex with you in the open? There's no one around. No matter how loud you shout, no one will hear you."
"Xie Xingchen!" Lin Yao couldn't help but shout his name, his resentful indignation echoing across the empty beach.
"No, I promise you, I won't." Xie Xingchen gently stroked his waist to reassure him. "Even if I die here, I will never let you become an Omega in the traditional sense, so humiliatingly and unwillingly."
Lin Yao stared at him blankly, without saying a word.
For some reason, I felt that if he could say it, he could definitely do it.
Xie Xingchen's hand landed on his lower back through his clothes, and he said considerately, "But you will be very uncomfortable. You are already in a sensitive period, and the magnetic field will make it even more difficult for you. I will try my best to help you get through it in a comfortable way. I think my technique is pretty good, judging from your reaction in the bathroom that day."
He spoke in a gentle tone and made no attempt to hide anything when discussing the matter, much like he was openly recommending himself, saying, "The massage service from masseuse number eight is excellent; would you like to try it again?"
"Say that again?" Lin Yao finally lost his temper, rolled over and climbed off him, carrying the box of gifts as he continued walking forward, coldly saying, "If you talk nonsense again, I'll rip your tongue out and throw it into the sea."
Xie Xingchen stood up and said slowly, "So fierce."
After walking along the coastline for who knows how long, we finally saw an abandoned wooden hut, covered in dust. Inside, there was only a simple bed frame and a rickety wooden door; there was nothing else. But it was still better than sleeping in the open.
Lin Yao took off his coat and went to the beach to get it wet, then used it as a rag to wipe the inside of his clothes. Xie Xingchen sat at the door fiddling with his communicator and his cell phone, which had no signal.
Unable to use any of the functions, he turned on the phone's camera and pointed it at Lin Yao in the inner room: "Everyone, please look. This man is called Xiao Lin. He appeared in the wooden house. Is it a sign of moral decay, a distortion of human nature, or is he secretly in love with Xiao Xie and followed her here? Let's find out."
"Are you possessed by He Li?" Lin Yao glanced at him coldly and indifferently. "Boring."
Xie Xingchen sighed, his legs wide open, the bloodstains on his forehead already dried: "I'm just looking for something to do. If no one comes to our rescue, you'll have to spend the rest of your life like this with me."
Lin Yao met those dark eyes and thought to himself, "You look quite expectant."
He sat on the simple wooden bed with his legs bent, feeling his fever, which had finally gone down after three days in the hospital, rising again. He was very annoyed: "Xie Xingchen, come and beat me up."
"You're feverish." Xie Xingchen stood up and touched his forehead with his palm. Both of them were burning hot. "Why do you want to fight me over nothing?"
Lin Yao thought to himself, "What else?"
You can't just say it's hormones acting up, that seeing you makes me want to hug you, kiss you, and pounce on you; it's like I'm some kind of heartless beast.
He remained silent for a moment, then ordered, "Go see what's in the souvenirs. I'm hungry."
The items were probably prepared by Lin Han, one box for each person, but Lin Yao's was obviously much more abundant than Xie Xingchen's, including ready-to-eat bird's nest, delicacies from land and sea, local pastries, enough to last a week, and even a very exquisite pure gold peace lock.
Lin Yao fiddled with the lock, which looked like something he used to wear as a child, and almost laughed: "Do you have one?"
"No, I even feel like my gift is just some leftover scraps you picked out." Xie Xingchen casually flipped through the items and said helplessly, "This is such a discriminatory treatment."
Lin Yao's lips curled slightly as he swung the bird's nest in his hand, mimicking his cocky tone: "Beg me."
That bastard has no bottom line. With his hands on the edge of the bed and dried blood still on his forehead, he was indeed somewhat broken and touchingly handsome: "Please, feed me."
Lin Yao: ""
What does it mean to take advantage of someone's kindness?
Xie Xingchen remained motionless, his tone still sincere: "I'm begging you, can't you just give in for the sake of the injured person?"
"I must have owed you something in my past life." Lin Yao gritted his teeth, cursing as he tore open the bowl, wishing he could dump the whole thing into Lin Yao's mouth.
Even at such a time, the young master was very mindful of his manners, eating slowly and deliberately, never wolfing down his food.
"You eat too." Xie Xingchen didn't mind sharing a spoon with him at all.
Lin Yao paused for a moment, then thought to himself that since they had already kissed, and the conditions here were terrible, they shouldn't be so picky. The two of them shared the bowl of food.
He repeated the movements, but felt the agave on the other person's body wrapping around him again, and his breathing became more and more rapid. Damn magnetic field.
"Isn't your dad supposed to be that great? His efficiency in finding a rescuer is so low." Lin Yao scoffed. "The Alliance Leader isn't all that great either."
Seeing his irritated expression, Xie Xingchen raised his hand and rubbed his earlobe, soothing him in a low voice: "Don't worry, he'll be here soon. He's more anxious than you are."
"You can eat it yourself, it's not like your hand is injured." Lin Yao was still annoyed. He closed his eyes, trying to suppress the high temperature in his body, and whispered, "I'm sleepy, I'll take a nap."
Xie Xingchen was surprisingly easy to talk to. He hummed in agreement, took the half-eaten bird's nest, and squatted down by the door.
The room fell silent for a moment.
Lin Yao lay down on the hard wooden bed, biting the soft flesh inside his mouth with his teeth to stimulate a little pain and stay awake.
My fingers couldn't help but want to unbutton the buttons; it was hot and stuffy.
But she had just made some harsh remarks to Xie Xingchen, and now she couldn't even bring herself to ask for a little bit of pheromones to appease him.
"Can't sleep? You keep fidgeting." Xie Xingchen's voice came from the doorway.
Lin Yao bit the soft flesh of his mouth, and his reply became vague: "You can fall asleep if you don't talk to me."
I endured the agonizing ten minutes, but felt no sleepiness whatsoever.
Xie Xingchen was doing something completely silent, so quiet that it was as if he were the only one left in the world.
My fingers couldn't resist, so I unzipped my team uniform and slowly unbuttoned one button. Just as I was about to move on to the second button, that tanned hand took over first.
"Xie Xingchen?" Lin Yao turned around with difficulty, only to feel a broad chest enveloping him from behind.
"It's hot enough to fry an egg in. Are you planning to burn yourself to death rather than back down?" Xie Xingchen said calmly. "I'll help you."
The exposed skin welcomed the wind, but the heat only subsided for a moment.
Lin Yao endured the discomfort, struggled to push him away, and said in a voice full of agitation, "Leave me alone, I don't need your help."
Xie Xingchen didn't say anything, but just held his shoulders and pinned his limbs down, preventing him from moving.
He lowered his eyes slightly, looking with pity at the person who was tormented by pain and could only gasp for breath. Coincidentally, he had no bottom line when it came to Lin Yao.
"Don't you like your hands? Then I'll try something else."
