Chapter 32 Yao Yao, you're so good to me
He Li stared at the black gold card, clicking his tongue repeatedly: "This way of throwing money around is so familiar. There are so many rich people in this world, can't there be one more like me?"
Lin Yao commented: "All spendthrift playboys are like this."
"How do you know the one who spent 40,000 was a man?" He Li looked up. "Huh? Could it be Xie Xingchen himself?"
Lin Yao coughed lightly: "Really? Who goes online using their real name?"
Hall was very satisfied with the result and patted everyone on the shoulder: "Alright, this matter is resolved amicably. Go back to class, I have things to do. That's all."
“I also want to apologize,” Lin Yao said suddenly, looking at Duan Zheng.
Xie Xingchen has gone to such lengths to help me, so it's only right that I retort when I'm inexplicably called an idiot.
Hall turned around and looked at him with a puzzled expression: "I don't think Lin did anything wrong in the whole thing. You're fine, there's no need to blame yourself too much."
"Yes." Lin Yao looked at Duan Zheng, leaned towards the microphone, and slowly said, "Duan Zheng, I'm sorry."
Duan Zheng looked bewildered and stopped in his tracks: "Huh?"
A faint smile appeared on Lin Yao's cold face as he slowly said, "I'm sorry I didn't kick you away in the most elegant way. I'll be more careful next time."
His face rarely showed any vibrant expression, but at this moment, with his pupils slightly bright and his lips curved into a smile as he stared intently at people, he exuded an aura of a wicked manipulator.
Duan Zheng was stunned for a moment, and after several seconds, he cursed under his breath: "Damn it."
The people listening to the broadcast were going crazy with joy, chattering incessantly in the training field.
"Hahahaha, can I borrow your sharp tongue?"
"Compared to this, Duan Zheng and Li Mao's insincere apologies seem like those of clowns."
"The semester has started off this exciting, there's going to be a lot of drama going on this semester."
"Hilarious! How's Huo Yuan's heart? He's been through so much today. They're driving him crazy."
"What's there to be angry about? They've easily secured another sponsorship. No wonder he can be the dean. You're on the first floor, while he's on the second."
Outside the office, after apologizing to each other, no one seemed to like anyone else, and they silently returned to the training field.
He Li quietly gave Lin Yao a thumbs up and whispered, "That final taunt was so cool, I loved it. Don't worry, I'll create another account and edit a few more videos to smear him."
"Alright, that's enough." Lin Yao lowered his head and straightened his combat uniform.
It was their fault from the beginning, but Li Mao and Duan Zheng went too far by intervening in the training ground.
He Li pouted: "If you wanted to settle things peacefully, why did you make sarcastic remarks just now? I was just following your lead, wasn't I?"
“I was…” Lin Yao replied subconsciously, “He called Xie Xingchen an idiot.”
He Li couldn't grasp the necessary connection: "So?"
Lin Yao also felt like he was possessed by a ghost, finding it hard to believe that he would actually stand up for others. He frowned and said, "No, no, so I just did what I wanted to do."
Xie Xingchen came up from behind and wrapped his arms around his shoulders: "Because he insulted me, you stood up for me and got back at him. You're so good to me, Yao Yao."
He Li made a vomiting face.
Ughhhhhh, Yao Yao, how dare he! How could he even say that? I'm going to throw up! My ears are filthy!
"Don't be disgusting." Lin Yao was gradually getting used to the name and was too lazy to correct him. He tossed the man's hand off his shoulder and explained casually, "I'm just repaying the favor you did for me today."
Xie Xingchen observed his expression, his ears growing redder under Xie Xingchen's direct gaze: "Is that all? Not even a hint of other emotion?"
Lin Yao raised his hand and rubbed his burning earlobe, belatedly realizing he felt a little uncomfortable.
He turned and strode toward the bathroom, as indifferent as ever: "Of course, do you think I'm trying to mend our broken relationship by making amends? Don't dream about it."
Hearing these words, it felt strange, like an awkward revelation of the truth. In any case, listening to the words in reverse is the most accurate way to interpret them.
Xie Xingchen's smile grew wider and wider, he was extremely pleased: "So you want to mend our relationship? Okay, I understand, I will work together with you."
He Li covered his head with his hands, a mask of pain on his face.
No way! If you fix the relationship, what am I, a die-hard fan, supposed to do?
Lin Yao opened the bathroom door and turned to look at him: "Don't be silly."
Xie Xingchen lazily straightened his combat suit, tilting his head slightly: "So, the first step in repairing our relationship, how about we go to the bathroom together?"
"Are you a primary school student, Xie Xingchen!" Lin Yao couldn't take it anymore and kicked him. "I was going anyway, get lost."
Xie Xingchen followed closely behind him, asking, "What's wrong? It's not like we haven't been together before. Last time we even..."
Then he closed the door behind him, keeping the light bulb out.
He Li raised his hand to cover his face, shaking his head as he retreated towards the training ground: "Ahhhhhh, I'm leaving, I can't stand it, I really can't bear to watch any more."
Behind him, Li Mao, who had just come out of the restroom, had a somber expression and turned to talk to Duan Zheng.
The latter paused for a moment, hesitated for several seconds, and then nodded slightly: "Let's do it this way."
Li Mao said leisurely, "Not to mention being utterly disgraced, it's definitely more embarrassing than that video of yours."
Duan Zheng, hands in his pockets, glanced indifferently as he passed the restroom door: "Is there anyone else in there? Don't leave any traces, or we're completely finished."
"No, I just came out of there, it's empty." Li Mao scoffed. "This matter today can't be resolved with just a few words."
An awkward atmosphere permeated the restroom.
Lin Yao had absolutely no experience going to the toilet with someone else. He always felt that when that person stood to the side, the air seemed to be vacuumed out, becoming incredibly thin.
He shouldn't have said that extra word.
"Getting involved with this guy will only bring a lot of trouble," Lin Yao thought, his mind a jumble of thoughts.
"Have you deleted my nude photos?" Xie Xingchen asked casually, looking down and unzipping his pants.
Upon hearing this, and given the current situation, Lin Yao's hand trembled, and he almost wet his pants. He said indignantly, "Can you shut up?"
"Can't I even chat for a bit? I told you last time that I'll be checking it regularly. If it's been deleted, we can just reshoot it now," Xie Xingchen said.
Lin Yao was about to lose it, and turned to glare at him: "Can you stop saying this when you've already taken your pants off halfway!"
"Hmm? Are you bothered by it? A lot of boys compare themselves to each other during puberty." Xie Xingchen glanced to the side with a smile, his posture calm. "It's pretty good, don't feel inferior."
"…………"
Lin Yao's cheeks flushed red, and she turned her head to the other side, no longer looking at him: "If you say another word, I'll throw you in the toilet."
Who would talk about this kind of thing when they go to the toilet together? What a slut.
After uttering those harsh words, Xie Xingchen really didn't say anything more. The quieter he was, the more awkward it became.
Lin Yao slowly resolved the problem, then bent down to wash his hands. As he was about to leave, he found Xie Xingchen standing at the door, saying nothing.
"What are you standing there for? Get out!"
Xie Xingchen gestured to mute the microphone, pointed at him, then at himself, shook his head, and looked helpless.
Lin Yao: "......"
I got it. That threat was, "If you say it again, I'll throw you in the toilet."
I've never seen him so obedient before; he's just asking for it.
Lin Yao didn't bother to ask and reached out to press the bathroom doorknob.
With a click, it wouldn't budge; it was locked.
I tried turning it several times, but apart from the mechanical noise, I couldn't open it at all.
Lin Yao lightly kicked him: "What's going on? Speak up."
"Someone did something wrong." Xie Xingchen explained the situation in a few words, "We're not allowed to bring cell phones during training, so we can't call for help."
Lin Yao was quick-witted and immediately realized what was happening. He leaned back against the door and loosened his grip, asking, "Duan Zheng and the others?"
If it was caused by human intervention, then they really won't be able to get out anytime soon.
Feeling a bit stifled, he raised his hand in frustration and ripped open the collar of his combat suit, unbuttoning three buttons.
Ever since the temporary mark was placed, I've felt something's wrong with my body, and I can't help but want to get close to the other person.
Xie Xingchen hummed in response, propping his arm against the door, his gaze sweeping over the large expanse of bare skin he had exposed.
A dazzling white expanse, like the finest jade.
The desires I suppressed last night surged up again, layer upon layer.
He lowered his head, his tall frame hunched over in grievance, his head resting on Lin Yao's shoulder, like a large dog that just needed comforting.
"What's gotten into you now?"
"I was in a really intense fight, and I suddenly feel a little dizzy."
Lin Yao: "......"
With his hands hanging at his sides, he managed to restrain himself from pushing the person away.
Then I felt warm breath brushing against my ear, something brushing against my earlobe, it was very hot.
The words were practically whispered in Xie Xingchen's ear.
"The lock is broken, we're going to be locked up here all day, how exciting!"
