Finally, he rushed to the rooftop terrace, panting heavily.
The terrace was large, even more spacious than he had imagined. The lighting was deliberately dimmed to create an ambiguous and romantic atmosphere. Carefully arranged greenery and decorative partitions divided the terrace into relatively private spaces.
He hid in the shadows, his gaze like a poisoned blade, fixed on the only lit dining table in the center of the terrace.
Qin Xiao.
Gu Siqing.
They were smiling at each other, the candlelight flickering on their faces, the atmosphere warm and ambiguous, as if the whole world had shrunk to just the two of them.
Ye Chen felt as if his heart was being gripped tightly by an invisible hand, the pain almost suffocating him.
He saw Qin Xiao elegantly snap his fingers, and a waiter pushed an exquisite food cart over, on which was placed a uniquely shaped cake.
He saw an unbelievable surprise and emotion bloom on Gu Siqing's face in an instant, her smile so bright it was almost blinding.
Mango and durian mousse…that’s her favorite cake! How did that bastard know?!
Ye Chen gritted his teeth, his temples throbbing so hard he almost bit his gums until they bled.
Then, he saw a scene that made his eyes widen in horror and caused him to completely lose his mind.
Gu Siqing suddenly turned her head, her beautiful eyes glistening with tears, filled with touching affection.
Before Qin Xiao could react, her soft, warm lips pressed against his, filled with eagerness, longing, and complete surrender.
That kiss was long and passionate, as if it would last until the end of time.

Ye Chen's mind went blank as if a bomb had exploded, his vision blurred, and he almost lost his balance.
The woman he'd chosen! The wife he swore he'd marry!
She actually... she actually took the initiative to kiss another man!
It's still that scumbag Qin Xiao!
A metallic taste rose in his throat again, and this time he could no longer control himself. He bent over abruptly, and a mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of broken internal organs gushed out, splattering onto the expensive carpet in a horrifying sight.

Suddenly, dazzling fireworks burst across the night sky.
Multicolored lights illuminated the night sky and reflected on Gu Siqing's face, flushed with happiness. Like a child, she held Qin Xiao's hand, pointed to the sky, and cheered joyfully.
As the fireworks faded, Gu Siqing looked intently at Qin Xiao, her gaze bold and straightforward: "As a reward for you, I'm going to sleep with you tonight."
Qin Xiao was taken aback, clearly not expecting the previously reserved, icy beauty to be so enthusiastic at this moment.
He looked a little embarrassed and touched his nose: "Honey, let's call it a day. I've had a great time! Look, I still have some new projects to work on..."
Before she could finish speaking, Gu Siqing suddenly exerted force, and Qin Xiao let out a soft cry.

However, what happened next was even more devastating.
Qin Xiao was still declining, his tone helpless: "It's not convenient today, I haven't booked a hotel."
"Who said I didn't book?" Gu Siqing smiled charmingly and pointed downstairs. "I've already booked it. It's a luxury suite downstairs from this restaurant."
She leaned close to Qin Xiao's ear and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear: "Recently, I've learned a lot of... positions... no... knowledge, and I want to practice them with you one by one."
Qin Xiao was completely speechless, his face a mixture of laughter and tears.
That's it. I guess I'll be using my kidneys all night again tonight.
Gu Siqing proudly took Qin Xiao's arm and led him towards the elevator.
"Come on, come inside with me!"
Ye Chen watched the two figures disappear intimately, his anger and humiliation almost burning him up. He walked out of the restaurant mechanically, like a walking corpse.
He changed his clothes, rushed to the front desk, and, in a trembling voice, announced Qin Xiao's name, requesting to reserve the room next door.
