Chapter Sixty-Seven: The Great Escape

The two strode into the cell, passing directly through the barrier. One poured out pills from a bottle and began distributing them, while the other went to the unconscious woman to Youyou's right, making a move to pull her up.

You You's heart tightened, and she instinctively grabbed the man's wrist. "What do you want to do?"

The other person was stunned for a moment, seemingly not expecting anyone to step forward. He subconsciously tried to shake off her hand, but found that... he couldn't!

"What are you dawdling about? Bring the person over here right now!" the man outside urged urgently, seemingly eager to curry favor with the manager from earlier.

The person who was stopped then realized what was happening and quickly took out a whip from his side, as if to swing it at Youyou.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Suddenly a seductive female voice came over.

The man who was about to grab someone was startled and turned around. He saw a woman walking in through the door. She was very beautiful, dressed only in layers of pink gauze with her clothes wide open. She was dressed in a very seductive way, the kind of woman who would make people's blood boil at first glance. She walked with small steps and swayed her slender waist.

"So it's the hookah girl..." The man grinned instantly, but his eyes lingered on her chest with lewd intent. "Why aren't you serving on the rooftop? What brings you to such a filthy place?"

The woman's smile grew even more alluring, and she gave a slightly complaining huff, "Hmph, it was all because Sister Qinglian kept me occupied that I was kicked out. I was bored anyway, so I just came to see these new sisters out of curiosity. What? Is that not allowed?"

"Alright, alright, of course! I'll do whatever Miss Shuiyan says!" The man's eyes became even more lewd. He quickly took a few steps closer, grabbed the other woman's hand, and said, "Come, come, the road here is difficult to walk on. Let me help you, Miss." He then groped the other woman's hand a few times.

The woman named Shuiyan seemed to freeze for a moment, then winked at the other woman without pushing her away, and continued walking towards them, her eyes sweeping over the women in the cell as if she were genuinely curious about them.

The man became even more excited and enthusiastically introduced her, "Most of the people who came this time are mortal women who can't withstand a few rounds of torture. However, there are a few female cultivators, the highest of whom is at the Foundation Establishment stage!" After speaking, he pointed to several unconscious people in the corner.

"Oh?" Shuiyan glanced at the women in the corner, a glint in her eyes, then chuckled, "They're not exactly pretty, are they?"

"Of course, she's not as good as the girl with the hookah." The man praised her at the right moment, and then touched her a few more times.

"What's wrong with them? Why are they all dizzy?"

"It's just a mind-controlling incense," the man explained. "After all, they're cultivators, and I was worried about the hassle of cleaning them up. If they're affected by this, even a Nascent Soul cultivator won't wake up for three days without an antidote."

"Oh, that's amazing?" Shuiyan looked at him curiously. "So you have the antidote with you."

“Of course!” the man blurted out.

"That's good..." Shuiyan's eyes instantly darkened, she chuckled, and suddenly struck the man's chest with her palm. The man had no time to react and was sent flying, falling to the ground motionless.

"What are you doing?!" The other two men were startled and were about to turn around. Shuiyan threw something out, and two white lights flew over, flashing past the necks of the two men. They fell to the ground, and large amounts of blood gushed out, flowing all over the ground.

"Ah!" The people inside the cell were startled and retreated, avoiding the blood that had spread on the ground.

The woman named Shuiyan, however, changed her seductive demeanor from before. With a serious expression, she turned around and began searching the man's body for something. Only after pulling out a bottle did she relax, open the barrier, and walk towards them.

Just as he was about to speak, he caught sight of the medicine that had just been stuffed into their hands. His eyes widened in shock, and he quickly stepped forward, forcefully knocking the medicine out of their hands. He said urgently, "You can't eat this. This pill will damage the roots and bones of cultivators, and it can also make ordinary people lose their minds and be at the mercy of others."

A surge of frenzied hatred welled up in her eyes, and her whole body trembled. Then, as if remembering something, she suppressed it, turned around, and walked towards the unconscious people on the ground. She administered the medicine she had just found to them, which should have been the antidote.

Sure enough, after a short while, the unconscious female cultivators on the ground slowly woke up and looked around blankly.

"here it is……"

“The Mysterious Moon Pavilion in the Hidden Valley!” Shuiyan explained.

The group of people who had just woken up turned pale. "Mingyou Valley! Is this the demonic realm of evil cultivators?"

Shuiyan nodded, glanced at everyone in the cell, and explained urgently, "We don't have much time left. If you want to live, come with me now. We must leave Xuan Yue Tower within a quarter of an hour!"

After saying that, he walked straight outside, opened the barriers of the other cells, and released dozens of people.

The others looked bewildered, then realized she had come to rescue them, and quickly followed. The women, especially those with cultivation, mobilized their spiritual energy and became alert.

The hookah led them out of the dungeon, where they found themselves in a huge courtyard. Night had fallen, and the courtyard was brightly lit, illuminating the darkness. Loud laughter echoed from afar, indicating a large gathering of people. A strange, almost pungent, aroma filled the air.

They walked to a dark, inconspicuous corner, where the hookah made them stop and wait.

"Why are you stopping, sister?" someone asked疑惑地问道, "Won't those people chase after us?"

"Wait a moment!"

"Wait for what?"

Shuiyan looked up at the tall buildings in front of her, clenched her fists, and said, "Wait for the signal."

Everyone was stunned. Before they could ask any more questions, a deafening roar erupted, and flames shot into the sky from the tall building before it collapsed entirely. The entire Xuan Yue Tower erupted in chaos as people rushed out, many without even having time to put on their clothes, looking utterly disheveled. The scene was one of utter chaos.

Looking at the towering flames, a deep sadness flashed in Shuiyan's eyes, but she still turned to the crowd and said, "Now's the time, let's go!" After saying that, she led everyone to run wildly in another direction.

She seemed to have planned the route in advance, taking extremely secluded paths. With the sudden fire upstairs, everyone rushed forward, and they didn't encounter anyone. As the tall building receded into the distance, their group was about to leave the Xuan Yue Tower area.

Youyou paused, then grabbed the hookah girl at the front, "Wait! We can't get through that way!"

"What?" Before she could react, Youyou grabbed her and pulled her around to the other side. "This way!"

Just as Shuiyan was about to retort, she heard a chorus of footsteps. Sure enough, a group of people walked in from outside, carrying weapons. It was obvious they had discovered their escape and were there to intercept them. They were so close to running into each other.

Everyone's face turned pale, and Shuiyan looked particularly anxious, gritting her teeth as she said, "It seems the exit to the backyard has been blocked, and we can't get out."
