Chapter 318 Husband, may the rest of our lives be good.

The harsh winter gradually fades away, and spring is quietly approaching.

In April, the ice and snow melt, and all things revive.

A man and a woman walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau hand in hand.

The man was dressed in a black suit, tall and straight, with deep-set eyes and strong features.

The woman wore a white blazer over a light purple bodycon dress, highlighting her tall and slender figure.

She brushed aside her long, wavy hair, revealing a mature and intellectual charm. When she looked down at the red marriage certificate in the man's hand, a beautiful smile appeared on her lips.

Lu Zhufeng looked at the red marriage certificate in his hand with a smile in his eyes. It was a photo of him and Ai Ruoman together. She was smiling sweetly, and he was smiling from the heart.

Yes, they got their marriage certificate.

"Manman, from today onwards you are my real wife, legally and legitimately, the kind you can't escape."

As Lu Zhufeng traced Ai Ruoman's small face in the photo with his fingers, he smiled somewhat foolishly.

Ai Ruoman linked her arm with his, her delicate face pressed against his shoulder, her pearl earrings gleaming captivatingly in the sunlight.

She glanced sideways, a half-smile playing on her lips, and said, "What, was I your fake wife before?"

ah?

Lu Zhufeng's expression froze for a moment, then he smirked, his survival instincts kicking in: "Well... wife, you know that's not what I meant."

"What do you mean?"

Lu Zhufeng stammered, "Mainly... you used to never let me call you 'wife' in front of others..."

Ai Ruoman raised an eyebrow: "So it's my fault?"

Lu Zhufeng's eye twitched slightly. So, is it my fault?

However, he kept saying, "How could that be? How can you blame me? It's my fault!"

Seeing that Ai Ruoman's face didn't seem to change much, he couldn't help but panic a little.

"Honey, you know I'm a bit of a blabbermouth, I tend to say things a little..."

Before he could finish speaking, Ai Ruoman's delicate and pretty face magnified in his eyes, and her parted lips were sealed by two soft lips.

Ai Ruoman, wearing high heels and standing on tiptoe, grabbed his tie with one hand, forcing him to lower his head, and pressed her soft lips to his lips.

You idiot, I was just kidding.

Although the area in front of the Civil Affairs Bureau wasn't exactly bustling, there were still quite a few people coming and going. In front of everyone, Ai Ruoman gave him two light kisses and then tried to release his lips and leave.

But Lu Zhufeng was not happy. He thought, "I'm not going to let you get away with the meat that's been delivered to my mouth."

He wrapped his arms around Ai Ruoman's slender waist and pulled her close to him, their bodies pressed tightly together.

Without further ado, he lowered his head and precisely captured that touch of red, his tongue forcefully prying open Ai Ruoman's teeth and plundering her.

Ai Ruoman's small hands weakly pressed against his firm chest, a blush spreading from her cheeks all the way to the tips of her ears.

In front of the Civil Affairs Bureau, people were coming and going. She wanted to say no, but Lu Zhufeng's scorching and aggressive aura enveloped her, making her body weak and her head spin.

Her small, soft hands gently tapped his chest twice, then slowly curled up, lightly grabbing his suit collar, letting him do as he pleased.

The light of early spring is warm, and the wind is gentle.

They stood in the sunlight, a gentle breeze ruffling their hair and clothes, as they passionately embraced and kissed.

In front of the Civil Affairs Bureau, passersby witnessed this beautiful scene and couldn't help but smile like doting aunts.

A smile flashed in Lu Zhufeng's peripheral vision. He put one arm around Ai Ruoman's waist and kissed her. Suddenly, he raised his other hand, and the two marriage certificates in his hand were dazzling in the sunlight.

It was as if they were announcing to the whole world that they belonged to each other.

At this moment, even the air seemed to be filled with a sweet scent.

After a long kiss, amidst the maternal smiles and applause of passersby, Lu Zhufeng, with lipstick stains on his lips, took Ai Ruoman back to the car.

Ai Ruoman's porcelain-white cheeks flushed red. After returning to the car, it took a long time for the blush to slowly fade from her face.

She gently rubbed her burning cheeks, pulled down her sunglasses, and touched up her lipstick that had been smudged by kisses.

Looking in the mirror, she saw Lu Zhufeng's eyes narrowed slightly, his face full of smiles. She couldn't help but give him a light glare, revealing a unique and charming allure.

Lu Zhufeng didn't care, he just looked at the two marriage certificates in his hand and chuckled.

Ai Ruoman put away her lipstick, looked at the two marriage certificates she was clutching tightly in her hands, and said helplessly:

Aren't you going to give me a copy?

After receiving the marriage certificate, she never touched it again except when the staff handed it to her; Lu Zhufeng treasured it like a precious gem.

Upon hearing this, Lu Zhufeng immediately tucked her into his arms, took her slender, white hand, and gently kissed it.

"Honey, I'll keep this safe."

"Don't worry, it will be well preserved and there won't be a single crease."

Ai Ruoman's eyes flickered slightly. She hadn't seen Lu Zhufeng so happy in a long time. She could tell that he was really happy today.

A soft feeling welled up inside her, and she playfully scratched his chin, amused.

Are you afraid I'll run away?

Lu Zhufeng clutched the marriage certificate tightly, a sly smile on his face: "The imperial sword is with me, do you think you can escape?"

Ai Ruoman chuckled softly, her smile full of affection, "Whatever you say."

"But could you give me a message? I want to post it on my WeChat Moments."

Lu Zhufeng looked at him with some suspicion: "Really? Don't lie to me, I'm being honest."

Ai Ruoman was both amused and exasperated: "Why would I lie to you?"

"I'll just take a picture and return it to you right away."

Like a child guarding its food, Lu Zhufeng stared intently into her eyes, but couldn't detect anything amiss, before slowly pulling out the marriage certificate from his pocket.

Just as Ai Ruoman's fingertips were about to touch the marriage certificate, he suddenly raised his hand, a smile on his face, and leaned closer to Ai Ruoman.

"Manman, we've registered our marriage, we're legally married now, right?"

Ai Ruoman nodded.
