Are you stupid?
Endless pain and regret tore her apart and overwhelmed her.
Endless darkness swept over her, surging forth.
She didn't participate in the dream's process, but she witnessed its end.
She knew it was all true.
What exactly did she do?
She saw the end of the dream, she saw his calamity.
Why didn't she take him with her? Why did she take him away regardless of everything?
Is finding the truth more important, or is he more important?
Is it more important to deal with Aisie Hall or to save his life?
Why should she be swayed by a single sentence from Aisie Hall? It's just an answer, is it really that important?
Why did she wait for him to speak first? Why didn't she hug him, comfort him, and tell him that the answer didn't matter, that all she needed was him?
She said she loved him, but that became the root of his suffering.
She said she believed him, but she became the knife that others used to hurt him.
She deserves to die!
...
Endless sorrow and regret gnawed at her heart and soul, and eventually darkness engulfed her.
*
A sharp pain shot through her mind, and consciousness began to return. Slowly, she opened her eyes.
Everything was white; it was a hospital room. She seemed to have hit something with her car and then lost consciousness.
Her eyes were unfocused as she stared at the ceiling. Her nose twitched slightly, and then her gaze suddenly jerked.
She turned her head instantly, and there was a hospital bed standing quietly beside her.
Ignoring the pain, she frantically rolled out of bed.
On the hospital bed, a figure she longed for lay quietly.
He placed his hands on his chest, as if he were asleep, his face as pure as a gentle breeze, as flowing water, as bright as the moon, breathtakingly beautiful, yet exuding a quirky charm.
A tremendous wave of heartache washed over her, and in an instant, her eyes welled up with tears.
Ignoring everything, she gently lay down on him, burying her face in his neck, and her warm, wet fluid slid out.
No one knew how much she missed him; she was going crazy with longing for him.
When faced with life and death, when overwhelming grief sweeps in, one swallows the entire pain whole.
When you truly wander through the sea of time and memory, amidst countless threads and fragmented memories, you savor the profound and unforgettable aftertaste.
She was always the one who hugged him, coaxed him, and comforted him, but when he actually left her, she felt with a piercing pain that she needed him more than he did.
She held him in her arms for a very long time, endlessly rising and falling in the waves of emotion.
She wished it was all just a nightmare she had while holding him.
But that was ultimately just a fantasy.
She slowly rose, her eyes trembling with tenderness. Her slender fingertips lightly traced the scar at the corner of his eye, then lifted his clothes and touched his smooth, flat abdomen.
There was another gruesome wound there that had healed, but just by looking at the horrific scar, one could deduce how much pain it must have caused.
She embraced him, pressed her cheek against his, and kissed his eyebrows and lips with boundless tenderness.
I know you're tired.
Go to sleep if you're tired.
I'll take you home.
I'll stay by your side, so you can wake up whenever you want.
You sleep for a day, I'll keep watch for a day.
You sleep for a year, I'll stay with you for a year.
You keep sleeping...
I beg you not to go to sleep, just open your eyes once, just once, let me see you one more time.
If you really don't want to wake up, that's okay, I won't leave you alone.
