Xiao Wujie had just woken up and was still a little dazed. When someone leaned close to his ear and cried and shouted, his eardrums vibrated and his brows furrowed.
Seeing this, Luo Yilan pushed him away and gently massaged Xiao Wujie's temples to relieve his pain. Her eyes reflected his haggard and sickly face, and she couldn't hide her heartache and concern.
"Sweetie, how are you feeling?"
Xiao Wujie's lips moved slightly, his voice hoarse and extremely haggard: "Hmm, much better."
Luo Yilan visibly breathed a sigh of relief, then reached out and gently stroked Xiao Wujie's cheek, her voice filled with heartache:

"I'll let you breathe all day, and you won't need to wake up!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Chu Liyue's dagger-like gaze seemed to cut him in two.
Lu Zhufeng felt a chill run down his spine, waved his hands repeatedly, pursed his lips, and backed away.
Xiao Wujie's eyes flickered as he stole a glance at Chu Liyue, his hands under the covers gripping the sheets tightly.
Luo Yilan had a sharp eye and knew exactly what he was thinking. She immediately told the others to leave the ward.
The room was suddenly left with only Xiao Wujie and Chu Liyue, and the atmosphere became awkward.
Chu Liyue remained with her arms crossed, coldly staring at Xiao Wujie on the hospital bed.
Xiao Wujie's eyes trembled, and he called out weakly, "Sister..."
