Chapter 469 Author's Closing Remarks

Wu Jie will suffer many blows along the way, both physically and mentally. She will sacrifice herself before Wu Jie's surgery, becoming the heaviest psychological blow to Wu Jie and the most tragic character in the book.

But nothing is static. Writing is a two-way process between the author and the reader. I've found that many of you in front of the screen can accept being tortured, but many can't accept completely killing off a flesh-and-blood character.

In addition, I am a rather soft-hearted person. Based on the character development of Wu Jie and Qing Yi Jie, I am reluctant to vilify them, and even more reluctant to completely eliminate them.

Therefore, the villain has to take the blame. Vito Rosso was not originally intended to be portrayed as such a pervert, but for the sake of Qingyi, he had to be made even uglier and more wicked. After all, he is a villain and a supporting character, so it's okay if he's a bit perverted.

But the plot still needs its ups and downs, sweet and bittersweet moments, so another scapegoat appears, namely our protagonist, Wu Jie.

It's all about torture, since in the end it all comes down to the protagonist. Whether you torture someone else by killing them or torture them directly, it's still torture, isn't it?

Therefore, I changed the scene of Sister Qingyi's sacrifice to Wu Jie's loss of all five senses.

He has an older sister, Lao Lu, Sister Qingyi, a bunch of friends, and loving parents and elders.

He's got everything, it's time to punish him.

From my own perspective, I really like the character of Sister Qingyi. She is gentle, noble, intelligent, and wise. Her love is conservative and restrained. In my heart, she is like a goddess.

Just like the comments section said, cutting her off seems cruel, but letting her continue is also a regret and a test. So in the end, we gave Sister Qingyi the ending of a goddess returning.

Her unrequited love added a touch of melancholy to He's ending.

I will write a special side story about her to give her a happy ending.

As mentioned above, I actually put a lot of thought into the details and writing style.

For example, the daily interactions between Wu Jie and his sister—every action, where they touch, where they pinch, how to make it more beautiful, how to make it more expressive and sensual—every detail shows careful thought. I wonder if you can feel it.

Hmm... I've unknowingly written over two thousand words, and that's about all I have to say.

Finally, let me say two more things. Some readers have asked me about my new book. Yes, I will be releasing a new book, and I will estimate and explain the timing after I finish writing the extra chapters.

Although I won't be writing the side stories for too long, I'm not sure how long it will take. What I can guarantee is that it will be at most the end of this month, and no longer.

So, in the very end, I'd like to say thank you again.

Thank you for your companionship, thank you for the encounter.

Everyone has different tastes, but if even one sentence or plot point from my book leaves a lasting impression on you, it would be an immense honor for me. If you do, feel free to leave a comment in the comment section so I can feel a little smug (hahaha).

Next, we'll see you in the bonus chapter. (For those of you who were interested in the previous chapters, please go back and give me some feedback and suggestions, thank you!)

Love you all!
