Xiao Shuihan pressed her down to sit on the sofa, his gaze flickering slightly. He straddled her lap, wrapped his arms around her waist, and traced circles on her chest with his chin. He looked up at her, his eyes glistening with tears.
"Ah Lan, my family and I would like to take you to our home for a visit, is that alright?"
A hint of surprise flashed in Luo Yilan's eyes, then she smiled gently: "Okay."

"This old man and my older brother are really something. Even though you're here, they can't even put on a smile. If I had known, I would have eloped with you right after graduation."
As they walked out of the Xiao family restaurant, Luo Yilan took Xiao Shuihan's hand and strolled to the rooftop, listening to his complaints along the way, and smiled gently.
"Your family is all doing well."
Hearing her words, Xiao Shuihan cautiously looked around to make sure no one was watching them, then hugged Luo Yilan's arm, rested his head on her shoulder, and relaxed completely.
"I'm glad you don't mind them."
The evening breeze was cool, and the Milky Way filled the sky.
Below the rooftop, servants hurried to and fro. Xiao Shuihan suddenly remembered the afternoon he read "The Little Prince" to Luo Yilan and confessed his love to her on the school rooftop.
They had been dating for three years, met each other's parents, and he was approaching marriageable age. A long and distant future awaited them.
