By the light of the fire, a huge head emerged from the darkness, its jewel-like eyes revealing alertness and surprise.
"This is... a polar bear."
Lu Zhufeng was the first to exclaim in surprise.
As he spoke, the polar bear had already emerged from the darkness.
Its body, exposed to the light, was as large as a small mountain, with thick, soft fur as white as morning mist, reflecting a gentle luster in the darkness. The tiny ice crystals scattered on it were like stars scattered among them, shimmering with a cold silver light.
Its large paw pads gently touched the ice, and the sound of the ice cracking came from beneath its feet, revealing an innate elegance and power.
If you ignore its wary eyes and tense muscles, you might actually feel an urge to hug it.
Seeing the massive polar bear open its mouth with a slightly ferocious look, its eyes fixed on them with the wildness of a beast, Lu Zhufeng whispered:

Although no one answered him, they silently drew their weapons from their waists and looked at the white bear warily.
At that moment, a figure flashed past them. Xiao Wujie actually took the initiative to walk towards the white bear that looked like it might go berserk at any moment.
He gently reached out his hand to the polar bear, trying to get closer to it.
When the polar bear saw him approaching, its muscles bulged and it bared its fierce fangs, making everyone wary.
Xiao Wujie, however, relaxed his body and slowly approached the polar bear, attracting its attention while a glint appeared in his eyes.
The next second, everyone was surprised to see the polar bear, whose eyes were fierce and about to go berserk, suddenly freeze in his tracks and the tense muscles on his body began to relax.
Then a clear look of affection appeared in its eyes. Before Xiao Wujie could walk towards it, it took the initiative to walk to Xiao Wujie's side and rubbed against him a couple of times, a little awkwardly.
Xiao Wujie gently stroked its head, turned around, and smiled lightly at everyone:
"I was woken up by the craving."
To everyone's surprise, the polar bear affectionately followed him to the fire and sat down.
Xiao Wujie casually picked up a grilled fish and brought it to its mouth.
The polar bear seemed somewhat flattered, shrinking its enormous head slightly. Its gaze flickered for a moment before it tentatively stuck out its tongue and licked the ground.
Then her eyes lit up, and she was about to open her mouth wide and swallow it whole, but when she met Xiao Wujie's smiling gaze, she very humanely withdrew her mouth and gently nibbled at Xiao Wujie's hand.
Everyone stared in astonishment at this scene.
In the firelight, Xiao Wujie wore a gentle smile, his demeanor warm and refined, making it hard to reconcile with his usual unpredictable nature.
Chu Liyue's eyes held a strange light; she really liked his genuine smile.

At this point, he paused suddenly, then stood up, looking at Chu Liyue with gentle eyes and a smile in them.
"Except for you!"
