I frowned, feeling uneasy. What if the wisteria could smell blood later?
I thought for a moment, then took a few bottles to the bathroom, turned on the tap, and poured various fragrances and balms into the bathtub. Instantly, the entire bathroom was filled with a wonderfully fragrant aroma, and I couldn't help but sneeze because the scent was so overpowering.
I put one of the bottles on the sink and then slashed my right hand with a knife. It really hurt!
It took me five or six small bottles to finish. I wanted to do a few more, but I had to stop because I was bleeding so much that I started to feel dizzy.
I used my other good hand to support my slightly dizzy head and leaned against the bathroom wall for a while before I recovered.
First, I placed the bottles filled with my blood at the deepest part of my wardrobe, then I went back to the bathroom and took a nice, fragrant bath.
However, after taking a shower, I raised my right hand and found several scratches on my fair palm. How could I cover them up? I didn't have any magic to heal them instantly.
"The Empress".
Just as I was lost in thought and feeling troubled, I heard the sound of wisteria coming from the doorway.
I quickly clenched my fist and replied, "What's wrong?"
"Your Majesty, what would you like to eat for dinner?"
What to eat? I glanced at my palm, troubled. Going out to eat would give me away, wouldn't it? But if I didn't eat... I just bled so much; if I didn't eat, wouldn't I collapse?
"The Empress?" Zi Teng knocked on the door again and asked.
"Make whatever you like," I said impatiently, then added, "I'll have stir-fried liver tips and black-boned chicken stewed with goji berries and ginseng."
Okay.
I tapped my head in frustration. Would I die if I skipped a meal?
Well, I've already said what I needed to say, so I'll just have to be careful later and not let Zifang see the wound on my hand. Luckily, Zifang is currently engrossed in idol dramas, so she probably won't notice me later.
I yawned as I thought about it, and drowsiness washed over me, perhaps because I had just lost too much blood.
I woke up again to the aroma wafting from outside the door. Good heavens, did they change chefs today?
This aroma is different from the smell of food I usually smell. The chef today smells amazing; his skills are almost on par with the chefs in Heaven.
I jumped out of bed, my right hand still clenched into a fist. I didn't add a scarf or gloves; I felt that adding them would only make it more noticeable.
"Wisteria, did you change chefs today? It smells so good!" As soon as I opened the door, as expected, Wisteria was curled up on the sofa watching idol dramas. All the DVDs that Liu Lieyu had prepared for me were now being watched by Wisteria.
Without turning her head, Zi Teng said, "Yes, this chef is new, but his skills are top-notch, which is why I had him cook for Your Majesty."
"No wonder, the smell was off just now." I walked around the living room in slippers, looking at the new chef through the kitchen glass.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see the chef's face, but from his back, his figure was perfect.
"It smells so good." The aroma of food in the living room is even stronger than what I smell in the bedroom.
It smelled so good! I couldn't resist going to the kitchen to see what delicious food the new chef had made. But because I'm right-handed, a sharp pain shot through my right hand as I opened the kitchen glass door, reminding me of what had just happened to it.
I opened the glass door to the kitchen despite the pain. The chef glanced at me indifferently before going back to his work.
