I turned away, not wanting to argue with the wisteria; no amount of arguing with her would change the facts.

As I walked out of the palace, I looked in the direction where I had left in the imperial carriage last time. From where I lived, I could go straight, turn right, then go straight again and turn left to get out.

I vaguely remember a rough map of Guixu in my mind, but if I try to think about it carefully, I can't remember anything.

"Is that Liu Lieyu's council hall?" I asked the burly man behind me, turning my head slightly.

The burly man nodded. "Yes."

It seems my vague memory was correct; then Fei Yan's palace should be... I looked southwest.

What's your name?

"Hu Ma".

I nodded slightly and headed southwest, following my memory. Hopefully, I would see Fei Yan soon.

I quickened my pace, and as I rounded a corner, I suddenly noticed out of the corner of my eye that the wisteria that should have been behind me was gone.

I turned my head and sure enough, the wisteria was gone. I squinted and looked around, and finally spotted her among the group of people following me. She was talking to a handsome man. When she noticed me looking at her, she gave the man a few more instructions and then walked towards me.

"Imperial Consort." Zi Teng bowed slightly to me.

"What did you say to that person?" I stared at Zi Teng suspiciously. Could it be that Zi Teng went to inform Fei Yan and tried to get Fei Yan away from me?

"Your Majesty, the sun is very strong today. I was worried that you would get sunburned, so I had someone prepare an umbrella and some ice cream for you."

Wisteria spoke calmly and logically, but I still felt something was off.

I waved to the man who had just been with the wisteria, signaling him to come over.

"Greetings, Your Majesty." The man bowed, but kept his head down and didn't look at me.

"What did Wisteria just say to you?"

"Miss Wisteria, please send me to fetch an umbrella and some ice cream."

My suspicious gaze darted back and forth between the two of them; I knew there was more to it than met the eye.

"You can go now." After saying this, I quickened my pace; I had to get there quickly.

I hurried along and finally arrived at the palace where Fei Yan lived.

Fei Yan's residence was quite far from my palace, separated by the Hall of State Affairs. Liu Lieyu's subordinates lived in front of the Hall of State Affairs, while Liu Lieyu or his relatives and family lived behind it, much like the harem of an emperor. Liu Lieyu's sacred spring was hidden deep within the palace.

"Greetings, Your Majesty." Everyone in Guixu recognized my face, and the servants of Feiyan Palace immediately knelt down to pay their respects upon seeing me.

"Get up." I went straight to the point and asked, "Fei Yan, are you there?"

The servant replied, "Your Majesty, Lady Fei Yan has just gone out?"

"Did they say when they would be back?"

The disciple laughed and said, "Why would Lord Fei Yan know about his itinerary?"

That's true. I looked at Fei Yan's palace and felt secretly anxious.

"Your Majesty, would you like to come inside?"

The disciple cautiously asked.

“Alright.” I nodded and entered Fei Yan’s palace. The servants led me into the main hall, where I casually sat down on a chair and waited for Fei Yan to return.

I went to take a look at the wisteria. It stood obediently behind me, its face calm.

My fingers tapped the table repeatedly. What a coincidence! I had just arrived when Fei Yan left.

Time passed by, and I don't know how many times the tea on my table had been replaced.

The wisteria behind me suddenly stepped forward and whispered, "Your Majesty, we should go back. It's almost time."

What? That fast? Four hours have passed just like that??
