I frowned, slightly annoyed. "They're just ordinary people, living happy and fulfilling lives now. We shouldn't disturb them."
Liu Lieyu's slender eyes slowly surveyed the two people in the room, his fingers tapping the table repeatedly. He then looked up at me and said, "Since you don't want to disturb them, let's leave." With that, Liu Lieyu stood up.
I followed behind Liu Lieyu. Just before leaving, Liu Lieyu suddenly turned back and glanced at the two people in the room, muttering to himself, "I hope this is the last time I'll bother them."
I was a little confused. When did Liu Lieyu develop such feelings for the two of them?
Once we left my room and my parents' room, Liu Lieyu and I revealed our true forms.
Liu Lieyu and I stood downstairs in the old building. Occasionally, residents would pass by and turn around to look at us a few more times.
I frowned. "Let's leave here." Although my appearance and demeanor are very different from ordinary people, there are still some similarities. It would be a bit troublesome if someone recognized me.
"Okay." Liu Lieyu nodded leisurely and walked on at a leisurely pace.
I caught up with Liu Lieyu and walked with him. "Why did you bring me here today?"
"I thought you missed them, but it seems I was just being nosy," Liu Lieyu said, casually placing a hand on my shoulder.
We looked like a young couple deeply in love.
Liu Lieyu and I strolled aimlessly through the streets, going wherever we pleased. Occasionally, I would look up and glance at the scenery on both sides of the road.
If only You were by my side right now.
"What are you thinking about?" Liu Lieyu suddenly asked.
"I was thinking, how wonderful it would be if we could come here every day to experience such a lively world."
I've discovered that my ability to make things up on the spot is getting stronger and stronger; lying comes out of my mouth effortlessly.
Liu Lieyu looked around and said, "What's so difficult about that? If you're willing, we can live in the human world from now on."
I was slightly taken aback; Liu Lieyu was acting really strange today.
"Liu Lieyu, why are you acting differently today?" I asked after hesitating for a long time.
"So, do you like it?" Liu Lieyu pulled my hand slightly tighter, his words casual.
"I like it." I answered decisively. This "I like it" was different from my previous flattery and ingratiation. Today's words had some sincerity. Of course, it wasn't because I had fallen for Liu Lieyu, which was impossible. It was just because Liu Lieyu had lifted Feng Su's curse and returned my magic power today, which made me feel a little grateful.
Ironically, Feng Su's curse on me was all thanks to Liu Lieyu. Now he's just returning what belongs to me to me, and I'm even feeling a little grateful to him. Am I a born masochist?
"Then don't even think about leaving me." Liu Lieyu suddenly pulled me into his arms tightly. "Will you stay by my side forever?"
I was slightly taken aback, then smiled and gently patted Liu Lieyu's back. "What are you thinking about? Of course I'll always be with you."
Alarm bells rang in my mind. Had Liu Lieyu discovered my plan?
But even if Liu Lieyu finds out, can I give up? How could I? This is the only way I can escape. For this plan, I'm willing to give up my own heart. Even if I risk being discovered, I have to take the gamble. The only person I'm sorry to is Fei Yan. If things are exposed, I will protect Fei Yan with my life!
Liu Lieyu kept me full for a long time and refused to let go. Passersby kept glancing at Liu Lieyu and me.
"Shame on you, shame on you." Suddenly, a mischievous child passed by, first staring curiously at me and Liu Lieyu, then speaking loudly, attracting the attention of more passersby.
My fair face burned. I gently pushed Liu Lieyu away and whispered, "Let me go. It's embarrassing with so many people around."
Liu Lieyu held me tightly, not moving an inch, and whispered on my shoulder, "I don't want to, they're watching me kill them."
I completely trusted Liu Lieyu to keep his word, and sighed. "Why be so cruel?"
Liu Lieyu held me silently, and I couldn't see his expression.
I was held still and could only watch the passersby. I estimated that another ten minutes or so had passed, but Liu Lieyu still showed no intention of letting me go.
"You can't keep holding me like this, can you?"
Why not?
Me! Me! Me! What can I do? I'm desperate too. Whatever the big shot says goes. What can I do but accept it?
Perhaps sensing the faint resentment, Liu Lieyu loosened his arms around my waist and let go of me.
I felt as if I had regained my freedom in an instant.
Do you hate me that much?
Huh? Huh? What's wrong with Liu Lieyu today? Did Fei Yan's departure upset him?
"Are you still upset about Fei Yan's departure?" I asked Liu Lieyu cautiously.
"What did you say?" Liu Lieyu frowned slightly, staring at me with confusion in his eyes.
"Sigh." I sighed. "I know you must be heartbroken to see Fei Yan go. After all, he's been by your side for so many years. I know you must be devastated by his sudden departure."
"What are you talking about?" Liu Lieyu asked, looking completely bewildered. "If Fei Yan wants to leave, she can leave. What does it have to do with me?"
I patted Liu Lieyu on the shoulder to show my understanding, "I know you were just saying that in anger. You don't need to pretend in front of me. If you're upset, just say it. After all these years, you're not made of wood or stone, how could you not feel something?"
Liu Lieyu's gaze grew increasingly cold as he looked at me.
I touched my arm. Did I say something wrong?
Seeing how pale Liu Lieyu looked, I wisely chose to remain silent.
"You just want me to have feelings for Fei Yan, don't you?" Liu Lieyu looked at her coldly, his tone chilling.
I twisted the hem of my clothes in my hands and stammered, "How could that be? You're mine. How could I want you to like someone else?"
Liu Lieyu just sneered.
Damn it. Liu Lieyu's weird temper is really hard to deal with. I really want to quit and leave.
I gently took Liu Lieyu's hand, looked up at him with pitiful eyes, and said, "Don't be angry anymore."
Liu Lieyu just kept a cold face and ignored me.
I took another step forward, gently pleading, "Don't be angry anymore, okay? I was wrong. I promise I'll never mention Fei Yan again."
Liu Lieyu looked down at me, his expression softening slightly. "Will you not mention it again?"
"Mmm." I nodded vigorously, shaking Liu Lieyu's arm and asking sweetly, "Are you still angry?"
Liu Lieyu still ignored me, but his expression softened considerably.
I clung to Liu Lieyu relentlessly, "Why are you still ignoring me? Are you really angry?"
I'm annoyed because Liu Lieyu is ignoring me.
I bothered Liu Lieyu so much that he finally spoke to me, "I'm not angry anymore."
