I gave Liu Lieyu a satisfied kiss on the cheek.

Liu Lieyu touched the cheek I had just kissed, a smile playing on his lips. "I didn't know you'd become so good at being affectionate."

Holding Liu Lieyu's hand, I continued to wander aimlessly around the streets. Occasionally, when we passed by roadside stalls, I would beg Liu Lieyu to buy me some snacks.

Liu Lieyu and I strolled around the world from sunset until the moon was high in the sky. The flow of people and vehicles on the street gradually decreased, but the streetlights were still shining, and the tall buildings that rose from the ground on both sides were also flashing their lights.

The world here is truly peaceful.

"Let's go back." Finally, Liu Lieyu and I stopped in front of a large shopping mall. I sat on a chair, and the fountain in the distance was splashing water rhythmically.

Liu Lieyu sat down next to me, looked up at the starry sky, and said, "Okay."

Just as I was about to get up, I suddenly felt a strong ghostly aura emanating from the mall behind me, mixed with a heavy sense of malevolence.

My magical powers have been restored, so my senses are very sharp. I glanced back at the shopping mall that had already closed.

The shops in the mall had already closed, and the mall, which was bustling and noisy during the day, was now eerily quiet.

"Shall we go in and take a look?" Liu Lieyu naturally sensed this as well.

"No need." I shook my head. I'm not a ghost-hunting master, although these kinds of ghosts are nothing but ants in front of me. But it's not my place to deal with them. Everyone has their own job, and someone else will take care of it.

"Let's go." I stood up.

When we returned to Guixu, it was already night. Except for a few occasional points of light in the very center, the entire Guixu was shrouded in darkness, as if it were a completely different world from the bustling and vibrant human world.

"Emperor Donghuang, Empress Consort." Huanzi hurriedly stepped forward to greet us upon seeing us.

I thought Liu Lieyu would sleep with me tonight, but he didn't follow me into the room when I entered.

Liu Lieyu stood not far away, waved to me, and said, "Go on, I'm busy now. I'll come find you another day." After saying that, Liu Lieyu disappeared.

Is Liu Lieyu really that busy? I was a little confused. If he's so busy, why waste so much time with me today?

I was only confused for a moment before I excitedly went into my room as if I remembered something.

As soon as I opened the door, I saw Feng Su sitting on the sofa with food spread out on the table. Feng Su was eating while watching a mindless soap opera.

When Feng Su heard the door open, she turned around and saw it was me. Startled, she dropped the candied fruit in her hand to the floor. After a few seconds of stunned silence, she screamed and pounced on me.

"Master, I miss you so much." Feng Su hugged me tightly. "It feels like I had a very, very long dream."

"Feng Su." I hugged Feng Su back. For the past six months, Feng Su had been like a wooden doll, but now she can finally talk, run, and jump.

“Master.” Feng Su released me. “How did we end up in Guixu? I asked them, but they wouldn’t say anything. They just told me to wait for you here in peace.”

I stroked Feng Su's soft golden hair. "It's a long story. I'll tell you the details after we get out."

"Why do we have to wait?" Feng Su asked, puzzled. "Can't we go out now? Master, are you worried about the people at the door? Don't worry, as long as you give the order, none of them will be a match for me."

I shook my head. "No."

If we could really rush out like that, it would be easy, but even if we could beat the people at the door, what then? Feng Su and I are no match for Liu Lieyu.

"What is that?" Feng Su scratched his head, then asked again, "Wasn't the Ruins of Return destroyed before? Why is it still here?"

I pulled Feng Su back to sit on the sofa. "I know you have questions about your stomach. Let me explain them to you slowly."

I told Feng Su about the things that had happened in the past six months, picking and choosing what to tell her.

"Liu Lieyu is a real scoundrel," Feng Su suddenly said, slamming her hand on the sofa.

Feng Su looked at me in surprise, her eyes wide with disbelief. She reached out and touched my chest. "What! Master, Master, how could you be so foolish? How could you give your heart to someone else?"

Feng Su touched my chest and couldn't feel my heart beating. She pulled her hand away, her eyes immediately reddening, and she sobbed, "Master, it's all my fault. Master, these past six months have been so difficult, and I haven't been able to help you at all. Now you've lost your heart."

I patted Feng Su on the back, reached out to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes, and gently comforted her, "It's okay, you're much better now. We can leave soon, so don't cry anymore."

Feng Su, her eyes still red, barely suppressed her urge to cry. Holding my hand, she choked out, "Is Fei Yan reliable? Can I completely trust her?"

I nodded. "Feiyan can be trusted. Everything is ready now, and we're just waiting for the grand ceremony."

"Oh, right, Feng Su, you should leave tomorrow." I said suddenly, as if I had just remembered something.

"Leave?" Feng Su looked at me with confusion. "Where am I going?"

"Go see Luo tomorrow."

"Can I go out?" Feng Su thought for a moment and then asked, "I hope Liu Lieyu won't agree to it."

"Don't worry." My eyes lit up, and suddenly an idea came to me. "I'll go talk to Liu Lieyu tomorrow."

"What do you want to say to Liu Lieyu?" Feng Su asked anxiously, grabbing my hand as soon as she heard that I was going to see Liu Lieyu.

"Don't worry, wait for my good news tomorrow." I squeezed Feng Su's hand back and smiled at her.

"Get some rest." I got up, patted Feng Su on the head, and went back to my room to wash up and prepare for bed.

The next day, I got up early, which was unusual for me, but I didn't expect Feng Su to get up even earlier than me.

I scratched my head and looked at the TV. "Feng Su, did you not sleep all night or did you get up early?"

I didn't sleep all night.

Well, I thought Feng Su was an early riser.

After having breakfast with Feng Su, I told Feng Su to wait for me at home, while Huanzi and I went to the Hall of State Affairs.

"Xin'er, what brings you here today?"

I met Liu Lieyu, who was busy at work, without any obstacles. Liu Lieyu was delighted to see me and came forward.

"I've come to see you today because I have something to discuss with you."

I don't know if it was just my imagination, but when I mentioned that I had something to discuss, Liu Lieyu paused for a moment before smiling and walking towards me again.

"Xin'er, what's wrong?"

I walked up to Liu Lieyu and said the words I had thought of last night, "How is Luo's Little Heavenly Court doing lately?"

Luo led a group of Heavenly Gods who refused to admit defeat westward, forming a smaller Heavenly Court, and continued to fight against Liu Lieyu.

Liu Lieyu's eyes flickered slightly, and he sat calmly in his chair. "They're just a bunch of rabble, what's there to fear?"

“But it’s really annoying that they keep resisting.” I walked step by step toward Liu Lieyu and stood beside him. “Luo used to be one of my men too. Seeing him fight against you like this makes me feel bad too.”
