"Your Majesty, everything is ready."

I opened my eyes, glanced at myself in the mirror, and then got up.

"Your Majesty, please come with me." The woman bowed and gestured for her to follow.

I nodded slightly and followed behind the woman.

My clothes were very complicated, with a long train, and two palace maids followed behind me to hold up the train.

As soon as I stepped out of the palace, I saw a palanquin at the entrance, and two or three palace maids helped me onto it.

The imperial carriage moved very fast, heading straight towards the council hall.

Is the banquet to be held in the Hall of State Affairs?

As the palanquin drew closer to the council hall, I could see from afar that the area in front of the council hall was packed with people, the square was decorated with lanterns and colorful decorations, and all sorts of musical instruments and musicians were set up on both sides.

Before I even reached the Council Hall, I could hear the sounds of string and wind instruments coming from there.

"So lively?" I couldn't help but murmur.

My carriage stopped in front of the council hall, and palace maids helped me down. Two close palace maids followed me, and about ten palace maids followed behind me. The two at the front held up my skirts.

I took small, quick steps, not because I didn't want to walk faster, but because my clothes were too cumbersome and I couldn't move freely. Besides, if I walked faster, it would be inconvenient for the two palace maids behind me to keep up.

"Xin'er, you're here." I slowly moved forward step by step until I finally reached Liu Lieyu.

However, my focus was not on Liu Lieyu, who was sitting high above, but on Luo, who was sitting to his right below him.

It had been a long time since I'd seen Luo. He looked the same as before, but with a touch more composure and a subtle air of authority.

Luo naturally noticed my gaze as well. Luo's fair and slender hand was holding a glass of Baiyu Zhicheng wine, and Luo's fair and slender fingers made Baiyu seem like a supporting character.

Luo saw me, put down her wine cup, nodded slightly and smiled, and said, "Your Majesty, it's been a long time."

"Long time no see." I was somewhat happy to see Luo Antai; finally, there was someone who wasn't implicated by me.

"Xin'er, come here." Liu Lieyu sat on the high place, squinting his narrow eyes and beckoning to me.

Judging from Liu Lieyu's appearance, I guessed that he had drunk quite a bit.

My mind started racing again. If I could use this banquet to get Liu Lieyu drunk and then steal the Nuwa Cauldron, wouldn't that be wonderful?

Even immortals can wake up from drinking in an instant, unless they choose to remain drunk.

While I was silently thinking to myself, my feet were already moving. I dragged my cumbersome skirt up the platform step by step and sat down next to Liu Lieyu.

"Xin'er." As soon as I sat down, Liu Lieyu reached out and took my hand.

Oh my god, Liu Lieyu is holding my hand, how am I supposed to eat...?

Although there were only some fairy fruits in front of me, I still ate them. They at least had some flavor, since I hadn't eaten anything for so many days.

Seeing that I was staring intently at the fruit platter in front of me, Liu Lieyu chuckled, "Want something to eat?"

"Hmm." I nodded reluctantly.

Liu Lieyu's eyes flashed, and he picked up a small piece of fruit with his other hand and put it to my mouth. "Xin'er, open your mouth."

I turned my face slightly back, feeling a little uncomfortable with Liu Lieyu feeding me. "Put it down, I can eat by myself, there are so many people watching."

Liu Lieyu ignored me and stubbornly kept putting the fruit to my mouth, as if it would stay there forever if I didn't eat it.

I frowned slightly, then tilted my mouth forward slightly and used my tongue to eat the fruit in Liu Lieyu's hand.

Liu Lieyu then laughed with satisfaction, put an arm around my waist, and pulled me into his arms. A strong smell of alcohol filled my nostrils.

My God, how much did he drink? It's still daytime, how could he have drunk so much?

Liu Lieyu put one arm around me, picked up the wine glass on the table with the other, raised it high towards the crowd, and said, "Drink." Liu Lieyu tilted his head back and downed the glass of wine in one gulp.

Liu Lieyu's hands were like cast iron, holding me tightly. I tried to break free a few times but couldn't, so I had to give up and use my free hands to pick up the fruit in front of me.

Liu Lieyu kept raising his glass to drink with the people sitting down, while I ate my food and watched silently.

I was thinking of taking the opportunity to toast Liu Lieyu a few times, but then I decided against it. Liu Lieyu is so smart, he would know what I was thinking as soon as I offered him a toast. I might as well just watch quietly. Anyway, Liu Lieyu has already drunk quite a bit.

"Your Majesty the Imperial Concubine." I heard a familiar voice calling me from below the stage. I was stunned for two seconds before I realized that it was Luo calling me.

"Luo, what's wrong?" I put down the fruit in my hand and looked at Luo with a slight smile.

Luo is now the ruler of Heaven, no longer my subordinate. I should show him some respect. It's not polite to talk while eating.

"It's nothing. I just haven't seen Your Majesty for a long time and I've been thinking of you. Now that I see you are well, I'm relieved." Luo said, raising the white jade cup in front of her with both hands. "Your Majesty, I'd like to offer you a toast." After saying that, Luo tilted her fair neck back, her prominent Adam's apple bobbing slightly, and she drank the cup of wine.

"Okay." I was stunned. After Luo finished speaking, I picked up the wine glass in front of me and drank it all in one gulp.

Luo, this is strange. Is it really because you've become the ruler of Heaven that your speech has changed? Luo never used to say things like "I miss you," and why did you raise three fingers when you were drinking just now? I've seen Luo's gesture when drinking with others before wasn't like that. Could those three fingers have some special meaning?

However, I couldn't figure it out no matter how hard I tried, so I gave up in the end. Maybe I was just overthinking it.

Although Luo has now led the Heavenly Clan to submit to Liu Lieyu, which is somewhat shameful, at least his life is safe. Why should he get entangled with me and drag himself into this mess?

I shook my head to clear my mind of these chaotic thoughts, then picked up the fruit in front of me and slowly ate it.

I kept checking on Liu Lieyu's condition. I noticed that Liu Lieyu seemed a bit drunk. I wondered what had happened to make him so happy.

"Liu Lieyu, would you like to drink less?" I tugged at Liu Lieyu's clothes. After thinking for a moment, I decided to persuade him to drink less and dispel my desire for him to drink more.

"Xin'er, why are you advising me to drink less?" Liu Lieyu lowered his head when he heard me call him that. His fair cheeks were flushed from being drunk, and his eyes were misty. Suddenly, Liu Lieyu laughed, "Are you planning to lie to me again?"

I was momentarily speechless. No matter what I did, Liu Lieyu seemed to think I was lying to him, even though I genuinely wanted to...
