Chapter 247

"Wow, this place... This is so luxurious..." Hao stared at our palace, his eyes wide with disbelief as he looked at the room before him.

"Sister, your house is so beautiful, even more beautiful than the place that hosted us before."

“These were all made by this older brother himself.” I pulled You out again.

Hao looked at You with envy, "Sister, this brother is amazing. It seems like he can do everything. He just brought us here in an instant. No wonder he was able to marry such a wonderful wife as you."

"What are you saying at such a young age?" I pinched Hao's fair and tender face. Although Hao may not be young, his appearance is still very deceptive.

Hao covered his face and asked in a childish voice, "Sister, did I say something wrong?"

“You’re right.” Before I could answer, You spoke first, hugging me with a radiant smile, “That’s right, your sister is my wife.”

Hao looked like he already knew that.

"So, you're not allowed to let Xin'er hug you so easily anymore, understand? When you have a wife in the future, you can let your wife hug you." You leaned down and said seriously.

"What are you saying? Hao is still a child."

Hao blinked. I felt that Hao's expression was somewhat shy, but his face was always red, so I wasn't quite sure.

Hao looked around and said, "Sister, this place is so big."

"Of course, Hao, you can stay here without worry." I wanted to go up and pick Hao up again, but You, being stingy, stopped me, so I had to give up.

"Hmm." Hao nodded, but it was clear that his attention was now drawn to the new things around him.

"Feng Su, why don't you live with Hao? You should have room there, right?"

"Yes," Feng Su replied happily. "My place is huge." With that, Feng Su picked up Hao, threw him into the air, and caught him again. "Great, I finally have a companion."

"Am I going to live with you?"

“Yes.” Feng Su said, taking the opportunity to kiss Hao on the cheek and then rub Hao’s head.

I was secretly relieved that Hao didn't ask me any strange questions; otherwise, I really wouldn't know how to answer them.

“You.” I tugged at You beside me, looking at her with pleading eyes.

"What's wrong?" You looked at me and vaguely guessed what I was going to do. "What are you planning to do now?"

"You, can I go out and play? I'm so bored here."

You looked at me with an "I knew it" expression, pondered for a moment, and said, "It's not that you can't go out, but tone it down and don't go too wild and forget about coming back."

"How could that be? I'll definitely go and come back early, and I won't linger outside." After saying that, I happily kissed You on the cheek.

Since that day, when You said I could go out and play, I took Feng Suhao and toured all over Sun and Moon City.

Last time we came, we didn't have time to properly explore Sun and Moon City before we left. This time, the three of us explored it thoroughly.

Sun and Moon City truly lives up to its reputation as the largest city in the Abyss. It is incredibly prosperous, with restaurants, entertainment venues, daily necessities shops, merchants coming and going, and even places resembling ancient brothels. It even has casinos.

The south side of the city is a residential area, which is relatively quiet and deserted. The west and east sides of the city are more lively. One side is a world of entertainment and food, while the other side is home to the largest exchange in the Abyss.

That day, the three of us were wandering around the west side of Sun and Moon City, looking for a restaurant to eat something. We had eaten at almost every restaurant on this street these past few days.

"Feng Su, Hao, which restaurant do you think we should eat at today?"

"I want to go to Jixianglou Restaurant; their desserts are the best," Hao answered first.

“I want to go to Yongtai Pavilion. The food there is unique and very spicy,” Feng Su replied.

"Emm..." It's that time of year again when both sides start arguing. Actually, I prefer Yongtai Pavilion to both... because their food is very spicy, which suits my taste.

"You two play rock-paper-scissors, whoever wins gets to decide."

Whenever Hao and Feng Su disagree, I, as the mediator, always resort to my ancestral skill: rock-paper-scissors.

"I won. Let's go to Yongtai Pavilion." Feng Su withdrew her hand triumphantly.

"Ah, I lost again." Hao was a little dejected.

"It's alright. When we get to Yongtai Pavilion, we'll have someone there buy your favorite dessert from Jixianglou."

"Ah, thank you, sister." Hao's little face immediately brightened up again.

"You're welcome." I smiled and patted Hao's little face.

Suddenly a familiar figure flashed past in front of me. I looked up and saw that it was Man Jiao'er.

Why is Man Jiao'er in Sun and Moon City? Man Jiao'er's figure just flashed past me, and then Yue Jiao's figure also hurriedly disappeared. It seems Yue Jiao was chasing after Man Jiao'er.

I'm not surprised that Yue Jiao would appear in Sun and Moon City. Yue Jiao is a well-known official under You. But what about Jiao'er? Why is Jiao'er here?

"Master, what are you looking at?" Feng Su asked when she saw me standing there in a daze.

"Oh, it's nothing." I snapped out of my daze, put aside what I had just seen them in my mind, and followed them to Yongtai Pavilion.

I'll ask You when I get back. There's nothing You doesn't know about the Abyss. If Jiao'er is really in trouble, I'll have to help her no matter what. But Jiao'er didn't look bitter or resentful just now.

"Please come in, gentlemen." As soon as the three of us arrived at the entrance of Yongtai Pavilion, the staff of Yongtai Pavilion respectfully invited us inside.

"Here is our menu, gentlemen. Please take a look." The waiter handed us the menu.

Feng Su took it and was about to hand it to me.

"You order," I said, waving my hand and letting Feng Su order instead of taking the food.

Yongtai Pavilion's style is completely different from Jixianglou's. Yongtailou looks no different from other restaurants from the outside, but once inside, you'll find many bamboo elements. For example, our private room is surrounded by bamboo, and the table and chairs are all made of bamboo, except the table is made of purple bamboo. Even the teapot and cups are made of bamboo. The teapot is a large bamboo tube with a hole inserted two-thirds of the way through, through which a thinner bamboo tube is used to pour water. The teacups in front of us are smaller bamboo tubes, and the tea here has a unique bamboo fragrance.

"Waiter, would you mind buying some desserts from Jixianglou?" I said, placing a black card on the table.

The child immediately replied, "Which dessert would you like?"

"Buy some of the various signature desserts from Jixianglou."

"Okay."

I had just finished giving my instructions when Feng Su's order was placed. The waiter took the menu, picked up my black card, and respectfully withdrew.

I picked up the teacup on the table, took a sip of tea, and then waited quietly for the dishes to arrive.
