Chapter 248

Today, because I had something on my mind, the three of us only had one meal at Yongtai Pavilion before returning to the palace.

As soon as I got back and saw You, I told her about seeing Jiao'er and Yuejiao on the road that day. "You, is Yuejiao still forcing Man Jiao'er to marry him?"

You put down the book in her hand, waved her hand, and casually pulled me into her arms. She said leisurely, "How could that be?" You continued, "Since you left that day, I have brought the barbarian family into Sun and Moon City, and I have also promoted Man Jiao'er's father in an exceptional manner. Yue Jiao does not dare to act recklessly in front of me."

"You didn't bring them here because of me, did you?" I now know that You can know what's happening on this land at any time. It seems that he already knew when we first set foot on the land of the Abyss.

You looked at me with a "what else?" expression.

I chuckled and said, "If that's the case, I'm relieved. I was worried that Yuejiao was still pressuring Jiao'er."

"Don't worry, they're both still young." You hugged me while picking up a book from the table and flipping through it.

"What does this mean?" I asked, puzzled.

You looked up from her book and landed on my face, smiling mysteriously. "Do you think they'll stay together in the future?"

"No way..." I remember how much Jiao'er disliked Yue Jiao back then, she probably won't make up with him again.

"They'll definitely make up." With that thought, she drifted off to reading again, completely absorbed in her book.

I got a little bored in You's arms, so after sitting for a while I struggled to get up and go play with Feng Su and Hao.

When I arrived, Feng Su and Hao were lying on a straw mat, chatting aimlessly and lost in thought.

"Master, sister!" Feng Su and Hao turned around when they heard the sound, and when they saw it was me, they both spoke almost at the same time.

"What are you doing?" I asked naturally as I sat down between the two of them.

"Staring blankly." "Bored."

"Sister, why is there no one in your house? It seems like there are only the four of us in this huge palace."

"Well, haha, You likes quiet and doesn't like being disturbed by outsiders."

Is that so?

"Sister, when are we going out to play again?"

"Aren't you done having fun yet? We've been going out almost every day these past few days," Feng Su complained from the side.

"It's better than lying here. I'm not as quiet as Brother Luo." Hao muttered softly, then suddenly remembered something and said, "By the way, where's Brother Luo? I haven't seen him this time."

“Luo…” Feng Su and I exchanged a glance. The last time I saw Luo was at Liu Lieyu’s banquet. I wonder if Liu Lieyu blamed Luo.

"Brother Luo didn't come this time, something came up." I had no choice but to make up a little lie to appease Hao, as I really couldn't explain some complicated matters to him.

"I see." Hao nodded his little head and didn't say anything more.

Hao's words reminded me that we don't have any definite information about Luo's current situation. We should go and ask You.

"You guys play first, I'm leaving."

"Hey, Master, why are you leaving so soon after you arrived?"

"I have something to ask You, you guys have fun." I ran away and turned back to Feng Su.

"Sister, come back quickly after you're done asking!" Hao shouted behind me.

"good."

"You, You." I ran to You again in one go.

You's posture was almost exactly the same as when I left; she hadn't moved an inch. You didn't even lift her eyelids; she simply asked softly, "What is it now?"

"You, do you know anything about what's happening outside?" I asked solemnly.

You put down her book and looked at me seriously. "Yes."

"That's great!" I exclaimed with delight. "Do you know how Luo is doing now?"

"Luo?" You tapped her fingers lightly on the table. "Luo is in the West now."

"Is he alright? Did Liu Lieyu make things difficult for him?"

"Yes, but Luo managed to evade it." A murderous glint flashed in You's eyes as he mentioned Liu Lieyu, but it quickly dissipated. "Liu Lieyu is now frantically searching for us, causing panic throughout the Three Realms. Naturally, Luo is Liu Lieyu's first suspect, but Luo is not as easy to manipulate as Liu Lieyu imagines."

"Is Luo really that good?" I couldn't help but exclaim. Luo really is amazing. After all, You and I were both defeated by Liu Lieyu, but Luo was able to hold his own.

“After we left, the Heavenly Court was in Luo’s hands. In addition, Luo chose to ally with the West, so it’s not something that Liu Lieyu can just do as he pleases,” You patiently explained to me.

"Would Liu Lieyu resort to underhanded tactics?" After all, the methods Liu Lieyu used to deal with me and You weren't exactly sophisticated.

“Of course, but Luo managed to dodge them all.” Youdu’s eyes showed a rare hint of approval. “Xin’er, your subordinate is quite extraordinary.”

I couldn't help but burst into laughter, "Right? Not bad as your witch doctor, right?"

As long as I know Luo is alright, I won't suggest that You find a way to bring Luo to the Abyss to protect him. Even if I were willing, Luo might not be willing to come, since power is what Luo desires. I just need to know that he is safe.

"What? You're not going to ask me to bring Luo to the Abyss, are you?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.

"How could that be? It's good that Luo is alright." I chuckled. "I'm going to go play with Feng Su and the others."

"You're not allowed to go." You reached out and grabbed me, pulling me close to her chest and whispering in my ear, "You always go out to play with them, why don't you come out to play with me?"

What do you want to play with?

"What do you want to play?" You's smile grew increasingly ambiguous, her fair face slowly drawing closer, swallowing all my words.

The days in the abyss were so leisurely and happy. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I feel like I've gained some weight recently.

We've been in the Abyss for a year now. At first, I was always worried that Liu Lieyu might find out about us, so I would always go to You to ask about the situation.

I lay in bed looking at the decorations on the ceiling. You went to take a shower and wouldn't be back for a while.

Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard some noise in the room and groggily opened my eyes. "Are you done washing up?"

"Mmm." You nodded gently, lifted a corner of the blanket and crawled in, the cool, damp touch of her freshly showered skin immediately reaching her.

"Xin'er." A deep, resonant voice sounded in my ear.

"Hmm?" I instinctively snuggled into You's arms, clinging to her like an octopus.

"Xin'er, let's have a baby." You's words, like a spell, rang in my ears, and I instantly snapped back to reality.

"What did you say?" I looked at You in disbelief.

Having a child? I've never thought about having a child... I always feel like I'm still a child myself, how could I be a mother?

"Xin'er, don't you want to?" You gently stroked my face.

"No." I shook my head. "I just... I just..."
