After changing my clothes, I quickly tidied my appearance.
After everything was finished, I stood in front of You and asked, "You, may I bring Hao with me?"
You Wei was slightly taken aback. "Dai Hao?"
"Don't worry, I'll keep a close eye on Hao. He also wants to go to the barracks to take a look," I said, tugging at You's sleeve.
You looked at me, hesitated for a moment, and finally nodded in agreement.
"Great, thank you, You." I jumped up when I saw You nod and kissed her on the cheek. "I'm going to call Hao." After saying that, I turned around and went to find Hao.
Hao's room wasn't far from mine. When I entered, the room was empty. I walked into Hao's bedroom with ease.
When I entered the room, Hao was still fast asleep on the bed.
I gently patted Hao's body, but Hao remained motionless and slept soundly.
I increased the pressure, and Hao turned over and went back to sleep.
With a heavy heart, I pulled the blanket off Hao, pinched his little cheek, and shouted in his ear, "Hao, get up! Do you still want to go to the barracks?"
This time, Hao finally reacted, moved his body, rubbed his eyes, and slowly opened them.
"elder sister?"
Are you still going to the barracks?
"The barracks?" Hao rubbed his eyes, clearly still half asleep. "The barracks!" Hao shouted again, then immediately sat up. "I want to go!"
"Then why don't you get up now!"
"Shall we go now?" Hao blinked, looking somewhat confused.
"Yes, You is waiting." I reached out a hand to wipe the sleep from Hao's eyes.
"Go wash up quickly, I'll wait for you."
"Okay, I'll be right there." Hao immediately sat up from the bed, hurriedly put on his clothes, and went to wash up.
"You, we're all ready, shall we go now?" I took Hao's little hand and soon appeared in front of You.
You glanced at Hao and me, then stepped forward and took my hand. "Let's go."
I glanced at You and asked, "You, are we going to use teleportation again?"
I've gotten used to You's travels; she can go anywhere in an instant.
How do you want to get there?
I rested my chin on my hand and thought for a moment, then raised my head and asked, "Is the barracks far from here?"
"Not far."
“Then let’s walk there.” My eyes lit up instantly. “I haven’t been out for a walk in a long time. Walking there will allow us to enjoy the scenery along the way.”
You chuckled softly, "What scenery is there in the abyss?"
I was speechless with emotion.
"Then I'd like to walk there too..."
"Okay, I'll do as you say."
And so, our group set off.
The barracks are neither inside the palace nor within the Sun and Moon City; according to You, the barracks are outside the Sun and Moon City.
Feng Su is currently living in the military camp and only returns home every few days.
Sun and Moon City remained bustling and prosperous, seemingly unaffected by the impending war.
I glanced up at You on my right, then looked down at Hao on my left.
This scene really does resemble a family of three.
I couldn't help but smile. This seemed to be the first time You and I had strolled around Sun and Moon City.
"You." I shook my right hand.
"What's wrong?"
“You, this is our first time exploring Sun and Moon City.”
After a moment of silence, You said, "When we get back, I'll show you around Sun and Moon City properly."
"Okay." I smiled sweetly.
Although the journey was quite long, it was exceptionally sweet, and I didn't feel tired at all.
A deafening shout came from ahead.
"Is the barracks just ahead?"
Once outside the city, the abyss was plunged into darkness, but there were some lights ahead, and the deafening shouts confirmed to me that we were definitely at the military camp.
"Yes." You nodded slightly.
Hao looked ahead with longing, "Sister, we're almost there! It's so lively up ahead!"
"We're almost there."
Not to mention Hao being excited, even I was a little excited.
You gently stroked my hand and said softly, "Don't worry, we'll be there soon."
"I'm not in a hurry." I looked up at You Qian with a smile. "Is Feng Su here too?"
"Um."
"He didn't cause you any trouble, did he?"
"No, Feng Su helped me a lot."
"That's good." I breathed a sigh of relief. I was afraid that Feng Su's personality would cause trouble for You.
I thought of Feng Su's determined look that day, saying that she was determined to teach Liu Lieyu a lesson. I imagine Feng Su is now working hard towards that goal.
As we slowly approached the light, I was able to see the entire barracks.
Not far away, the area is fenced off, with a tall tower on each side serving as a sentry post.
Inside the barracks, the lights were on, as bright as day, and the deafening shouts made my ears hurt.
"Greetings, Lord Sun and Moon."
As soon as we approached, the people on the watchtower recognized You.
"Get up." You Lengleng stood in front of the door.
The person on the watchtower quickly opened the door for You, "Lord Sun and Moon, please."
As we entered the barracks, we saw many soldiers training.
The soldiers were divided into teams, and each team trained in different ways.
"Feng Su?" I spotted Feng Su at a glance; her golden hair was simply too dazzling.
"Feng Su!" Hao shouted loudly, and I quickly covered Hao's mouth. "Shh, don't call him, let's see."
Hao couldn't speak because I covered his mouth, so he could only nod to indicate that he understood.
I let go of Hao, and pulled You along, deliberately choosing a spot that wouldn't be easily noticed, to silently watch Feng Su not far away.
Feng Su is probably the captain of this team.
