Chapter 324

"Nüxin, wait a moment."

"What's wrong?" I turned to look at the Emperor of Fengdu.

"What a coincidence, why don't you come and sit in our hell for a while?" The Emperor of Fengdu always had a smile on his lips.

"No need." I waved my hand. I wasn't exactly close to the Emperor of Fengdu.

I turned to leave, but suddenly my body went limp and I fell into a cold embrace.

Before I lost consciousness, the last thing I saw was a wisp of blue hair.

When I woke up again, I was lying in an antique-style room.

I opened my eyes and immediately sat up.

If I remember correctly, I met the Emperor of Fengdu before I fainted?

What did the Emperor of Fengdu bring me to Hell for?!

I really can't imagine what grudge I have against the Emperor of Fengdu.

I frowned, got out of bed, and went to push open the door.

Fortunately, the door wasn't closed; it opened with a push.

There were no soldiers guarding the gate.

This... this doesn't seem like they brought me back...

Did I faint from excessive grief? Or did I miss the Emperor of Fengdu?

With that thought in mind, I went out to say goodbye to the Emperor of Fengdu.

However, this house is really strange; I can't find my way out no matter how much I walk around.

Okay, I'm lost.

I sighed, saw a stone bench, sat down, and waited for someone to come to my rescue.

I waited for a long time before finally seeing someone.

"Emperor Fengdu, you've arrived!" I excitedly waved to the Emperor Fengdu.

The Emperor of Fengdu was stunned for a moment when he saw my excited expression.

I quickly walked up to the Emperor of Fengdu and said, "Emperor of Fengdu, your house is too difficult to understand. I've been walking for ages and I'm still lost."

"Lost?" The cold voice of the Emperor of Fengdu became somewhat dull.

"Yes." I nodded.

Thank you.

"Thank me for what?" A hint of confusion flashed in the eyes of the Emperor of Fengdu, and he looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"Thank you, you didn't leave me when I fainted and you even brought me back."

The Emperor of Fengdu was completely stunned, looking at me as if I were a fool. "Don't you know how you fainted?"

"I think it should be..." I was about to say that I was too heartbroken and physically exhausted when I saw the expression on the face of the Emperor of Fengdu and I froze.

I paused for a moment, then spoke uncertainly in a low voice, "It wouldn't be you, Your Majesty...?"

"Hmm." The Emperor of Fengdu nodded, appearing not too stupid.

"Why did you bring me back? Did you take a fancy to my good looks?" I suddenly smiled and moved closer to the Emperor of Fengdu, the distance between us being no more than a finger's width.

The Emperor of Fengdu probably never expected that I would say such a thing and get so close to him.

The Emperor of Fengdu took a few steps back, his fair face flushed red, and even the roots of his ears glowed red. For a moment, he was at a loss for words.

Wow, the Emperor of Fengdu can actually blush! I was instantly intrigued and wanted to tease him a bit more, but unexpectedly, the Emperor of Fengdu abandoned me and ran away.

Oh my god, I scratched my head, am I that scary?

I sighed and sat back down on the stone bench, waiting for someone.

Surely the Emperor of Fengdu wouldn't just leave me in the garden.

Thinking about how the Emperor of Fengdu blushed just now, I found it somewhat amusing. It's rather cute that someone who looks so cold could actually blush.

No matter why I was arrested, I felt pretty good about it and wasn't worried at all. I had a "whatever happens, happens" attitude, thinking that at worst I would just die.

Since I learned the truth, I have lost all attachment to this world.

Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone to Liu Lieyu to ask for death. Maybe if I died, I would have returned to my old world.

I thought about every word Youyuan said and every little thing he had done for me.

"Heh~" I chuckled coldly. It's really hard on Youyuan to keep acting.

"Nvxin, please come with me." Just as I was thinking this, a woman suddenly stood in front of me.

"Who are you?" I looked at the woman in front of me whose face was as white as paper, no, to be precise, she was a female ghost.

"I am a maidservant of the Emperor of Fengdu. The Emperor sent me to take you back." The woman's voice was extremely soft and carried a hint of coldness.

“I’m not going.” I remained leisurely seated on the stone bench. “By the way, don’t call me Nvxin, call me Linlu.”

The female ghost remained expressionless. "It's chilly in the courtyard. Let's go back inside."

"I'm not going." I remained seated on the stone bench, not moving an inch. Suddenly, my eyes flickered. "Call your Emperor here. Unless your Emperor comes to take me back to my room, I won't go anywhere." I looked as if I were going to live and die with the stone bench.

The female ghost's pale face finally changed slightly; she raised her head, glanced at me, and then disappeared.

I remained seated on the stone bench, gazing at the scenery in the courtyard.

Then, a long time passed, and still no one came. I didn't care, so I lay down on the stone table and fell asleep.

When I woke up, nothing had changed in the courtyard.

I stretched and thought, "The Emperor of Fengdu is very similar to the Abyss."

Out of the corner of my eye, I suddenly caught sight of a tall and straight figure.

The Great Emperor of Fengdu?

I smiled and waved to the Emperor of Fengdu, "Good morning, Emperor of Fengdu."

The Emperor of Fengdu frowned slightly. "Are you going to stay here?"

The clear, pleasant sound mixed with the fragrance of flowers was especially soothing.

"Of course not." I stood up from the stone bench. "You're taking me back?"

The Emperor of Fengdu glanced at me, turned around, and said, "Come with me."

I followed closely behind the Emperor, gazing at his waist-length blue hair.

Her sea-blue hair, with its small curls, was not messy at all. As the emperor walked, her sea-blue hair rippled like the waves of the ocean.

"Your Majesty, your hair is so beautiful."

The Emperor of Fengdu ignored me.

I didn't care and suddenly stepped forward to walk beside the Emperor. "Your Majesty, you haven't answered my question from yesterday. Why did you run away?"

The emperor pursed his purplish lips and remained silent.

The Emperor of Fengdu is indeed, well, aloof!

Aloof yet shy? Haha, what a strange combination.

“If you don’t speak, I’ll take that as a yes.” I looked at the handsome profile of the Emperor of Fengdu. The Emperor of Fengdu’s handsomeness was different from that of You, Liu Lieyu, or Feng Su.

The Emperor of Fengdu possessed a morbid beauty, with an excessively pale complexion, purplish lips, and a pair of phoenix eyes that always held a detached expression.

The Emperor of Fengdu parted his purplish lips slightly and uttered a single, "No."

"Huh? How could it not be?" I muttered, tilting my head. "Am I not beautiful?"

The Emperor of Fengdu fell silent again.

"Hey, Your Majesty, if you have a crush on me, just say so. Maybe I'll say yes."

The Emperor of Fengdu finally couldn't hold back any longer, "Does Dijun know what you've been doing outside?"

When I heard the Emperor of Fengdu mention Dijun, the smile on my face suddenly froze, but then quickly returned. "What do you mean?" I giggled and continued, "Dijun and I have already broken up."

I looked at the Emperor of Fengdu and smiled brightly, "So, how about considering being with me?"

"A load of nonsense."
