Ninety-six

"I'll take you home," I whispered in Zaiyou's ear.

We rode in a divine carriage on our way back. You stayed obediently by my side the whole time, and before I knew it, she had fallen asleep. I quietly watched You's sleeping face, unwilling to look away.

Looking at You's exquisite and perfect face, I couldn't help but think a lot. When did I start liking You so much?

At first, Yu was like a character from another dimension to me, and I felt sorry for him. Later, Yu came to be right in front of me, even more handsome and gentler than in the book. He didn't resemble the crazy villainous second male lead at all. The Yu in front of me was clearly a super nice little angel.

I suddenly had an urge to steal a kiss from You. Before I did it, I looked around and mustered up my courage to slowly approach You's face. As I closed my eyes, I perfectly missed You's sudden opening of her eyes.

Suddenly, a strong, gentle arm pulled me into its embrace, placed its hand on the back of my head, and kissed me deeply.

Every kiss with You filled me with intoxicating love. I don't know how long we kissed, until my lips were a little numb, before You slowly released me.

"Little thing, you're getting more and more craving me now, hmm?" You looked at me teasingly, her large hand wandering over my waist. The last "hmm" was especially alluring, making my heart itch.

I blushed and leaned against You, whispering, "Who told you to be so good-looking?"

You paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "Thank you for liking it."

I looked up and saw that You's complexion was much better than before, it seemed that she had recovered somewhat, but there was still a difference compared to her usual complexion.

"When we get back, you should go and rest first."

Aren't you going to eat?

"I'll eat it."

"Then I'll go with you."

"No need, you should go back and rest."

"Didn't you say that love means eating many, many, many, many meals together?" You paused, "You don't love me anymore?"

I suppressed the urge to chuckle and looked at You with a serious expression. "No, I'm worried about your health."

"Then say you love me." You lay in a corner of the chariot, smiling, holding my hand with one hand and blinking at me.

Feeling a little shy from being stared at, I lowered my head, blushed, and whispered, "I love you."

"I can't hear anything," You said loudly, pressing her hand to her ear.

You're lying, you're a genius! With such good hearing, how could you not hear me when I'm so close?

I snuggled back into You's arms, shaking my head and whining, "I can't hear you either."

He smiled and put his arm around me, and we arrived at the Heavenly Court in no time.

On the way back to the palace, I kept urging You to go back and rest, but today You acted like a child and insisted on having dinner with me.

"I'm not eating either. You go and rest, I'll rest with you."

You shook her head. "I want to eat. I'm hungry."

You're lying! How could a great god like you be hungry?! This child spirit is possessed by You, please take him away.

In the end, I couldn't argue with You, and I was dragged to the dinner table. The sight of all the delicious food made my mouth water. I secretly glanced at You's face and was relieved to find that her complexion had completely returned to normal.

Since You is alright, I'll eat quickly and let her eat some more good food to replenish her energy. I guess after resting, tomorrow will be another busy day. Sigh, I don't know how long this sudden rebellion will last.
