thirty

The entrance to the abyss is located beneath Kunlun Mountain.

Kunlun Mountain is the ancestor of all mountains, and before the Jade Pavilion atop Kunlun Mountain, auspicious five-colored light mingles with purple smoke.

When I finally stood before Mount Kunlun, I truly felt its majestic grandeur. The air was filled with a peaceful and ethereal aura, and the mist-shrouded Mount Kunlun looked exceptionally sacred and inviolable. Yet, beneath this holy and ethereal aura lay a bottomless abyss ravaged by evil spirits.

I wonder if the Queen Mother of the West is doing well lately? I suddenly thought of that extraordinary woman deep in Kunlun Mountain.

It seems she has been guarding this place for many years; she must have worked very hard.

You casually drew a teleportation array around us. Where You passed, golden symbols appeared and disappeared. In an instant, we went from the ethereal Kunlun Mountains to the eerie abyss.

"The evil aura here is so strong, Master, do we really want to train here?" Feng Su was the first to speak up. Feng Su's golden hair and the mark on his forehead were particularly eye-catching in this dark abyss.

"Since we're already here, we definitely have to train." Faced with the sudden darkness, I couldn't help but feel a little timid as I moved closer to the shadows.

The abyss harbors countless demons and monsters, so numerous and diverse that no one can say for sure how many immortals have ever come here over the millennia.

Luo remained standing to the side as usual, carefully observing the surrounding environment without saying much.

"You, how am I supposed to train? Am I supposed to just beat up whoever I see?" I asked, looking up. That would be too brutal.

"No need, I've already planned it out for you." You's elegant and handsome figure was poised and graceful, and the radiance emanating from her seemed to brighten the abyss even more.

You took out a map-like scroll from her sleeve and handed it to me. "This is a map of the Abyss. Your targets are marked on it. Defeating them will complete your training."

"And what about you?" I took the map with a bad feeling. Why did You give me the map directly?

"Don't worry, I'll protect you from the shadows. If anything happens, I'll protect you." You smiled, a hint of doting affection in her eyes.

After a moment of silence, I dejectedly gave in and said, "Okay."

I knew You wouldn't agree to let me bring Luo and Feng Su so easily; she was waiting for me there.

"Don't be so discouraged, I'll always be watching over you." You gently rubbed the top of my head, her beautiful features and her tone comforting.

"I will definitely finish it as soon as possible!" I clenched my fist, looking full of fighting spirit. "But what about the Heavenly Court? Will something happen while we're all gone?"

Although I brought Luo along, I'm still a little worried that the rebellion will still happen, only with a different protagonist.

"It's alright, I've asked the witch to take care of it for me."

"Is he very strong?" I was curious about this sorcerer, because I didn't have any memory of such a person as a sorcerer.

"It's acceptable." You pondered for a moment before giving this conclusion.

If he can make You speak well, then he must be quite powerful. I just don't know the origin of the Witch Immortal. Judging from his title, could he be a descendant of the Witch Clan? But the Witch Clan should have disappeared long ago.

"Shall I set off then?"

"Go ahead." You smiled, her eyes filled with tenderness.

I had just turned around when I was suddenly called back.

"etc."

"Um?"

I turned around, and a soft, warm kiss gently landed on my forehead.

"Go now." You's breath warmed my forehead as she spoke, and when I looked up, her bright eyes were gazing at me tenderly.

"Mmm," I replied softly.

This time, I walked with more confidence.
